The criminal trial of a former Libyan intelligence official charged in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 was postponed by a federal judge Monday after defense attorneys said they received new evidence over the weekend from prosecutors, hearing set for September 1, 2026.   Jury selection was set to begin Wednesday in Washington, D.C., in the trial, Case 1:22-cr-00392-DLF, of bomb maker Abu Agila Mohammad Masud Kheir Al-Marimi, age 75.  In September 2012, following the 2011 overthrow of Muammar al-Qaddafi, while being held in Libya, terrorist Abu Agila Masud Al-Marimi who served as an operative and bomb-maker for the intelligence apparatus of Muammar Gaddafi's regime in Libya known as the External Security Organization (ESO) confessed to Jamal a Libyan police officer significant acts of violence committed outside of Libya including his role in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, and the 1986 bombing of the La Belle Discotheque in Berlin,...
