EXCLUSIVE: 9/11 Pilot Ziad Jarrah and Wife/Copilot Aysel Sengun Partied in Sarasota for 10 Days in January 2001 at Al-Hijji Prestancia House from Jan 5th to Jan 15. Ziad Jarrah, 26, was a party boy who had attended Catholic school in Beirut, Lebanon, first known entry into the US is June 27, 2000 through Atlanta, Georgia. Ziad Jarrah opened an account at SunTrust bank in Venice, Florida, with a $2,000 cash deposit in July 2000, apparently cash he had brought into the country. During playboy Ziad Jarrah's time in America, he receives $2,000 a month from his wealthy family in Lebanon as a stipend which some of it is spent in strip clubs in Sarasota, Jacksonville and Las Vegas, he loved women, and didn't let his marriage to Aysel get in the way. Ziad's parents bought him a red Mercedes when he was 16 (he likes red cars). Handsome and charismatic, Ziad drank wine and beer, wore Italian shoes and American designer jeans. He was trained to be a pilot and had a degree in Aviation Mechanics. The FAA issued Jarrah a private pilot certificate on November 30, 2000. Al Qaeda funded the 9/11 hijackers like Ziad Jarrah in the United States by primary means of wire or bank-to-bank transfers from overseas to the United States SunTrust debit card of Ziad Jarrah. For example, on June 1, 2001, $3,000 was deposited into Ziad Jarrah’s SunTrust account. Al-Qaeda was paying for housing and air fare, Ziad Jarrah took multiple first class flights both internationally to visit his wife/copilot and domestically while in the USA. 'Copilot' review – heavy-handed attempt to humanize a 9/11 terrorist
. The recent movie 'Copilot' romanticizes the relationship between 9/11 pilot Ziad Jarrah and wife Aysel Sengun. 'Copilot' Director Anne Zohra Berrached’s film is interestingly intended, but naive and flawed, with a fundamental problem, which is right up there in the title. The
movie is based on the United 93 terrorist pilot Ziad Jarrah and his partner Aysel Sengun. The director treats the film as an empathy exercise, hoping to complicate and humanize a terrorist, Ziad Jarrah. It presents us with a romantically imagined fictional couple inspired by Ziad Jarrah, the Lebanese-born 9/11 hijacker-pilot on the United 93 flight and his one-time German-Turkish partner Aysel Şengün, whom he had met while a student drawn into al-Qaida’s notorious Hamburg Cell. Jarrah is often regarded as different from the other hijackers in that he came from a wealthy family, was not averse to the western world of pleasure, and was even rumored to have had qualms about the mission itself. It appears, from a FBI report "that during the summer of 2001, friction developed between Atta and Jarrah, and that Ziad Jarrah may even have considered dropping out of the 9/11 planes operation. Given his background and personality, Ziad Jarrah seemed a relatively unlikely candidate to become an al-Qaeda suicide operative. From an affluent family, he studied at private Catholic schools in Lebanon before deciding to study abroad in Germany. Party boy Ziad Jarrah knew the best nightclubs and discos in Beirut and partied with fellow students in Germany and in Venice Fl, even drinking beer, a clear taboo for any religious Muslim. Ms Sengun talked of problems in their relationship, and said Ziad Jarrah became increasingly devout after moving to Hamburg at the end of 1997. "He had a different view of Islam than I did. He was more serious - He wanted me to cover up. I said I wouldn't do so for him, only for God," she said. “He told me it was the greatest joy for a Muslim to wage a holy war.”

Shortly after the 9/11 attacks occurred, the FBI raided a Sarasota home at 4224 Escondito Circle owned by Esam Ghazzawi, an adviser to a nephew of Saudi Arabia's King Fahd, and found its occupants Ghazzawi's daughter Anoud Esam al-Hijji, her husband Abdulaziz al-Hijji had apparently left in a hurry in late August 2001. ANOUD ESAM GHAZZAWI had married ABDULAZIZAL al-HIJJI on May 12, 1995 at the local Sarasota Mosque. Two reporters Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan - managed to find a counter-terrorism source who told them in 2011 that the FBI had received proof that 9/11 pilots Mohamed Atta ( 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix) and Ziad Jarrah's (sporty red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse) Florida registered vehicles had visited at 4224 Escondito Circle Sarasota Fl multiple times passing through the guard gate. A security guard had told authorities that the family had left in a white van on August 27, 2001 - leaving behind three cars.

August 2001: The Saudi al-Hijji family flee 4224 Escondito Circle Prestancia Sarasota Fl. On Aug 27th 2001 a moving truck appeared and moved the subjects out of the house​. The residence is owned by a Saudi couple, Esam Ghazzawi and his American-born wife, Deborah, and is occupied by Esam’s daughter, Anoud, and her husband, Abdulaziz al-Hijji. An unnamed counterterrorism officer will, in 2012, describe, the car registration plate numbers of vehicles owned by Mohamed Atta (1989 Pontiac Grand Prix) and Ziad Jarrah (red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse) that had passed through the Prestancia community’s North Gate in the months before 9/11/2001, coupled with the identification documents shown by incoming drivers on request, showed that Mohamed Atta and several of his fellow hijackers [Marwan al-Shehhi, Walid al-Shehri, and Ziad Jarrah]—and another Saudi terror suspect [Adnan Shukrijumah]—had visited 4224 Escondito Circle on multiple occasions prior to 9/11.”

Florida license plates were photographed at the gate. The vehicle and name information on Mohamed Atta (1989 Pontiac Grand Prix) and Ziad Jarrah (red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse) fit that of drivers entering Prestancia on their way to the Al-Hijji house. Phone records documented communication, dating back more than a year to August 2000, that connected the Saudi family living in a Prestancia house in Sarasota,Florida, with the alleged plot leader, Mohamed Atta, and his hijack pilot pal Ziad Jarrah—as well as to eleven of the other hijackers. 

Ziad Jarrah's car was a sporty red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse that passed through the Prestancia Community North gate in Sarasota Fl multiple times. Ziad Jarrah's Florida driver's license was #J600997751710 issued 2 May 2001 expiration 11 May 2007 Virginia ID #T6619335 issued 29 August 2001 expires 31 May 2005. In April 1996, Ziad Jarrah and a cousin enrolled at a junior college in Greifswald, in northeastern Germany about 164 miles west of Hamburg. There Jarrah met and became intimate with Aysel Senguen, the daughter of Turkish immigrants, who was preparing to study dentistry. In September 1997, Ziad Jarrah abruptly switched his intended course of study from dentistry to aircraft engineering-at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. In the last days of March 1999, to Aysel Sengün’s amazement Ziad Jarrah appeared at her door in Bochum Germany, where she had moved for her studies, and asked her to marry him, Bochum is about 218 miles east of Hamburg. Ziad Jarrah in March of 1999 was living in Hamburg GR. The unofficial Muslim wedding between Ziad Jarrah and Aysel Senguen took place in April 1999, at the al-Nour Mosque in Gelsenkirchen, Germany just west of Bochum Germany. They never registered their marriage with the state or told either of their families. Aysel Sengün never considered the marriage genuine, she told friends, but she nonetheless insisted that al-Jarrah sign an Islamic marriage contract, according to which he would permit her to finish her studies, and then to work. When he tried to disavow his pledge she enlisted the support of the imam of al-Nour, who called al-Jarrah in and told him that Aysel Sengün was right. Bochum Gr where Aysel Sengun was living in the late 1990's and early 2000's is just 60 miles from the international airport at Düsseldorf, Germany where Ziad Jarrah made frequent trips to visit Aysel Sengun in Bochum GR.

Osama Bin Ladin reportedly discussed the 9/11 planes operation with KSM and Atef in a series of meetings in the spring of 1999 at the al Matar complex near Kandahar. KSM's original concept of using one of the hijacked planes to make a media statement was scrapped, but Bin Ladin considered the basic idea feasible. Bin Ladin, Atef, and KSM developed an initial list of targets. These included the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, and the World Trade Center. According to KSM, Bin Ladin wanted to destroy the White House and the Pentagon, KSM wanted to strike the World Trade Center, and all of them wanted to hit the Capitol. No one else was involved in the initial selection of targets. The Hamburg group shared the anti-U.S. fervor of the other candidates for the operation, but added the enormous advantages of fluency in English and familiarity with life in the West, based on years that each member of the group had spent living in Germany. Not surprisingly, Mohamed Atta, Ramzi Binalshibh, Marwan al Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah would all become key players in the 9/11 conspiracy.

Ziad Jarrah, 26, was a party boy who hit the beaches in Beirut Lebanon, he fit right in Sarasota at Siesta Key Beach. Ziad Jarrah was born in Mazraa, Lebanon, to a wealthy family and was raised in Beirut. Ziad Jarrah and his wife/copilot Aysel Sengun met in 1996 in the western German city of Bochum, where she was studying to become a doctor. Ms Sengun, who is of Turkish descent, said she helped Ziad Jarrah find a flying school in Venice Fl and sat as a passenger/copilot while he piloted a flight simulator in Miami Florida on January 8th, 2001. Ziad Jarrah arranged to attend the Florida Flight Training Center (FFTC) in Venice, Florida, in late June 2000. Ziad Jarrah moved in with some of the flight instructors affiliated with his FFTC school and bought a car (red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse) in Venice Fl, just like Mohamed Atta did. Ziad Jarrah was enrolled for six months at FFTC, from June 2000 to January 15, 2001. Later Jarrah took flight simulator lessons at Aeroservice Aviation in Miami Florida on Boeing 727 and Boeing 737 simulators in Jan 2001. Venice Flight School owner Rudi Dekkers said that he went with Marwan Al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah to a bar named Shamrock Pub after one of their flight lessons. At the Shamrock Pub bar, they talked to Dekkers about their plans after getting their pilot licenses, and Ziad Jarrah said to Rudi Dekkers "I got a job lined up and we are planning to become pilots."

Ziad Jarrah moved to Venice, Sarasota County Florida in late June or early July 2000, Aysel Sengun went to visit him in early January 2001. Ziad Jarrah had visited the Al-Hijji house at 4224 Escondito Circle on multiple occasions since August 2000, so of course he was going to show off his wife/copilot Aysel Sengun to the Al-Hijji clan during Jan 5th to Jan 15th, 2001, supposedly by this time the couple had married in April 1999. Aysel Sengun told the court she sat like a passenger/copilot as Jarrah trained in a Boeing flight simulator in Miami Florida on Jan 8th, 2001. "He told me not to tell anyone that he was in America. I did tell a few people and he was very annoyed." Of the 19 Arabs who struck the United States on September 11, the Lebanese-born Ziad Jarrah was at the controls of Flight 93, the plane forced down by its heroic passengers in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Ziad Jarrah hailed from a privileged Sunni family from the Bekaa Valley and was raised in Beirut. Ziad Jarrah had gone to an elite French Lycée Collège de la Sagesse a Catholic school, one of the country’s most prestigious. Aysel Senguen—a young woman of Turkish descent, fiercely irreligious, a medical student—fell in love with him, and there were plans for marriage in 1999. The boy who never missed a party in Beirut would now never miss a prayer in Hamburg with 9/11 pilots Atta and al-Shehhi. In or about January 2000, Usama bin Laden and Mohammed Atef the military commander of al Qaeda, tasked Ramzi Binalshibh, Mohamed Atta (AA #11), Marwan al Shehhi (UA #175), and Ziad Jarrah (UA #93) aka Abu Tareq al-Lubnani to obtain flight training for a martyrdom operation in the USA and report to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) on their progress.

The journey to the United States in the summer of 2000 by Ziad Jarrah was the journey of a jihadist-in-preparation. He would take a course in martial arts and attend a flight school in Venice, Florida. He set off no alarms. Always with Ziad Jarrah, there was the polish of his background; bin Laden had chosen his killers well. They were taught to slip into the world of the infidels undetected. A boy educated in a Catholic school was now ready to kill and die for the Muslim faith. Late in 2000 (December) Ziad flew to Beirut to visit his family as his father was very ill, and then to Germany to visit his wife/copilot Aysel Sengün in early Jan 2001. 

On January 5th, 2001 Ziad Jarrah returned from Dusseldorf, Germany with Aysel Sengun, landing at Newark, New Jersey, and flying onward to Tampa, Florida and then driving to Venice Fl in his 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse car that he left at long term parking. {Bochum Gr where Aysel Sengun was living in the late 1990's and early 2000's is just 60 miles from the international airport at Düsseldorf, Germany where Ziad Jarrah made frequent trips to visit Aysel Sengun}. Ziad Jarrah brought Aysel Sengun back to Venice Fl for a ten-day visit on Jan 5th 2001, and she even attended a flight school session with him in mid-January of 2001. During her time with Ziad Jarrah in Venice Fl they flew to Key West, a belated honeymoon trip, with Ziad renting a plane so Aysel could be his faux copilot. During the same time frame, on January 11, 2001, Alshehhi departed the United States from JFK Airport for Casablanca, Morocco. A week later, on January 18, 2001, Alshehhi returned to Florida. The Florida Flight Training Center (FFTC) in Venice where Ziad Jarrah had been studying said he was in school there until January 15, 2001. 9/11 pilot Ziad Jarrah went to Jacksonville from January 22-26, 2001, then on January 26, 2001 Ziad Jarrah departed the United States for the fourth time. Federal records of 9/11 Commission have Ziad Jarrah enrolled at the Florida Flight Training Center in Venice, Florida, until January 31, 2001. On Sept 6th, 2001 Ziad Jarrah sold his 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse car to Smartway Auto Sales for $700 cash. Ziad Jarrah, 26, told his wife/copilot, Ayse Sengun, in his last letter on Sept 10th, 2001 that he loved her very much, and asked for her understanding for what he was about to do. 'I did what I had to do, and you should be very proud of that,' Ziad Jarrah wrote in his letter dated 10 September 2001 and sent from the US. 'It is a great honor and you will see the result, and everyone will be celebrating.'

February 25-March 4, 2001: 9/11 horndog Hijacker Ziad Jarrah, who loves women, stays in Jacksonville, frequents Strip Club. After returning to the US for the fifth time, 9/11 hijacker Ziad Samir Jarrah flies immediately to Jacksonville Fl where he stays at the Ramada Inn for a week. He had previously visited Jacksonville in January from 22-26, 2001 just after his wife/copilot Aysel Sengun had returned to Germany. Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi were also there in Jacksonville Jan 22- Jan 26. While in Jacksonville, 9/11 Horndog Hijacker Ziad Jarrah frequents Wacko’s strip club. A club worker there will later say that the FBI comes to the club after 9/11 to ask questions and show pictures “of the 9/11 terrorists,” and a dancer recognizes Ziad Jarrah from a photo line-up. Horndog Ziad Samir Jarrah’s whereabouts after he leaves Jacksonville are unknown for a week and a half (most likely spending time with one of the dancers). FBI Interview Of Aysel Seguen (Ziad Jarrah’s wife) Interview took place at Police Headquarters Bochum, Germany (9-14-2001), she was clueless to Ziad Jarrah's terrorist activity as was Ziad's close knit family, Ziad was like two different people. HAMBURG, 16 August 2003 Court Testimony, Dr Sengun, a confident and smartly dressed woman of Turkish origin, met Jarrah in 1996, but said he changed dramatically after moving the next year to Hamburg. “He told me that I shouldn’t dress immodestly,” she told the court. “When we met he was not nearly as religious but then he started letting his beard grow, following the dress rules (of Islam) and the rules of prayer. When asked by Judge Klaus Ruehle about Jarrah’s views on jihad or holy war, she said they did not speak about the subject often but that he had mentioned it on a number of occasions. “I didn’t even know what it was — I had to ask some friends,” she said. Sengun, who is not suspected of prior knowledge of the attacks, said Jarrah kept her from meeting any of his friends in Hamburg.
