When arrested by Irish police (An Garda Síochána) on July 22, 2026, Perrie Sullivan had in her car an “extremely significant” bomb capable of causing catastrophic damage it consisted of 394 grams of military-grade Semtex-H plastic explosives, an improvised timer/power unit, and a viable detonator. Semtex-H is a highly stable commercial and military plastic explosive containing a 50/50 mixture of RDX and PETN , it became notorious as a weapon of choice for transnational terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda, ISIS and the IRA . Even small amounts—under 100 grams—possess enough shattering force to tear a hole in an airplane fuselage or destroy a vehicle.
