New Gun Law HB 1509 Bill for Private Investigative & Security Services in Florida Goes Into Effect July 1st 2022, will allow Private Investigators to Carry a Concealed Firearm with only a CWP. Effect of the Bill, The bill allows private investigator licensees who do not have a Class "G" statewide firearm license to bear a firearm if the licensee has a license to carry concealed firearms issued pursuant to s. 790.06, F.S. Firearms are not permitted to be carried openly at any time by private investigators.
