Osama Sam Mustafa from Tampa Fl stole millions with IRS check scam, he stole $17.9 Million which was not recovered. Mustafa is currently doing 20 years in the Federal prison system after being on the run for 5 years. “Using the U.S. Treasury as a personal piggy bank to obtain millions of dollars in fraudulent refunds, Mustafa not only showed his blatant disregard of the law, but also for those taxpayers victimized,” said Thomas J Kelly, Special Agent in Charge, IRS Criminal Investigation, Washington D.C.
