Bojinka Terror Plot With 12 Airliners Hijacked & Heading to USA Still a Thing with News of Hamam al-Hammami Co-pilot and Pilot Cholo Abdullah

ABC News; The co-pilot of the FlyDubai plane who allegedly attacked the plane's captain and attempted to crash a flight bound for Israel on Wednesday is Hamam al-Hammami an Omani national who was previously suspended by Oman Air after being identified as a security risk, according to senior intelligence and law enforcement officials. Hamam Hammami officials say was a radical Islamist with a history of showing support for and links to al-Qaeda. Just days after a FlyDubai co-pilot made a violent attempt to crash the passenger aircraft and was subdued by passengers and other crew members, questions about his identity and motive continued to swirl. The flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was approaching Israel when the Omani Muslim terrorist co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami allegedly stabbed the flight captain and attempted to crash the aircraft, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said. "As time passes, the picture is becoming clearer; the attacker Hamam al-Hammami underwent Islamist radicalization. He came to crash the plane with its passengers," Netanyahu said in a statement Friday. "We are investigating whether he was dispatched, and whoever sent him will pay a very heavy price."
Quoting sources briefed on the investigation, ABC reported: “Hamam al-Hammami has indicated that his intent was to crash the aircraft in Israel.” Netanyahu speculated to CBS News on Wednesday that the incident looked "like a Islamic suicide attempt," referring to witnesses who said the co-pilot had tried to jam the plane's equipment instead of stabilizing the aircraft. After passengers subdued the co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami, he shouted for someone to kill him, Israel PM Netanyahu told Fox News on Thursday. According to a CNN report, a LinkedIn profile bearing al-Hammami's name showed that he worked for Oman Air for about seven years before leaving the airline in February 2025. The profile stated that he later joined Royal Air Maroc in June 2025 and remained there until January 2026. He was born in the United Arab Emirates to an Omani father and Syrian mother and has spent several years of his life in the UAE, one of the sources added. Hamam al-Hammami—the co-pilot accused of a mid-air cockpit attack on a Flydubai flight—posted videos featuring al-Qaeda figures Ayman al-Zawahiri former top al-Qaeda leader and Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi an al-Qaeda loyalist tied to a 2009 suicide bombing.
Terrorist co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami hero is 'Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi' a Palestinian doctor and al-Qaeda triple agent who carried out a deadly suicide bombing at a CIA base in Afghanistan on December 30, 2009. Initially radicalized, Humam al-Balawi, a Palestinian doctor, was arrested by the Jordanian General Intelligence Department and seemingly flipped to act as a double agent to help track high-value targets like Al-Qaeda boss Ayman al-Zawahiri. Gaining the trust of both Jordanian and American intelligence by supplying selective information, he convinced handlers he had urgent intelligence on top leadership and was invited to the remote Khost base without undergoing standard physical security vetting or searches.
Humam al-Balawi detonated a bomb at Forward Operating Base Chapman in Khost, Afghanistan. The blast killed seven CIA personnel and Jordanian Captain Sharif Ali bin Zeid. He entered the secure base without being searched because handlers believed he was a trusted informant, never trust a Muslim (Palestinian). Al-Balawi's family is of Palestinian origin, from a tribe in the Beersheba region. His brother said al-Balawi had been "changed" by the 2008–09 Israeli offensive in Gaza, and that he had been arrested by Jordanian authorities after volunteering with medical organizations to treat wounded Palestinians in Gaza.
Suicide bombing at a CIA base in Afghanistan kills 9 on December 30, 2009 carried out by Humam al-Balawi a Palestinian doctor and Al-Qaeda agent: Jennifer Lynne Matthews, the station chief, 45, was tracking al-Qaeda before the September 11 attacks. She joined the CIA in 1989 and was involved with the agency's Bin Laden Issue Station. A U.S. official said Matthews was "one of the US government's top experts on al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups." Matthews had been chief of the base since September 2009. Besides Matthews, the CIA personnel killed included- Scott Michael Roberson, 39, the CIA base security chief, was a former Atlanta undercover narcotics officer and worked with the U.N in Kosovo.
- Darren LaBonte, 35, a CIA case officer based in Amman, Jordan, was al-Balawi's handler. LaBonte enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school, serving several years in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. After leaving the military, he became a police officer in the Libertyville Police Department in Illinois, then joined the United States Marshals Service, working in Chicago from 2003 to 2005. He then briefly served in the FBI on an elite anti-crime unit in New York City before joining the CIA in 2006.

- Harold Brown, Jr., 37, a CIA case officer, was a former U.S. Army intelligence officer.
- Dane Clark Paresi, 46, a security contractor, was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant and Green Beret with 1st Special Forces Group. A Bronze Star recipient, he served in Iraq, Somalia, Rwanda, Kenya, Bosnia and Southeast Asia throughout his 27 year career.
- Jeremy Wise, 35, a security contractor, was a former U.S. Navy SEAL.
Wise and Paresi were security contractors working for Xe Services (formerly Blackwater and known as Academi since 2011), a private security company. The bodies of the CIA operatives were transferred to the U.S., and a private ceremony was held at Dover Air Force Base, which was attended by CIA director Leon Panetta.

Bojinka Terror Plot With 12 Airliners Hijacked & Heading to USA Still a Thing with News of Omani Muslim Co-pilot and Pilot Cholo Abdullah. 12/20/2025 DOJ PRESS RELEASE; Commercial Pilot and Terrorist Cholo Abdi Abdullah was sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison following his conviction for multiple crimes that included conspiring to provide material support to the foreign terrorist organization al-Shabaab, and conspiring to murder U.S. nationals, commit aircraft piracy, destroy aircraft, and commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries, he had a commercial pilots license from the USA. Terrorist Cholo Abdi Abdullah has been convicted in 9/11 style plot to hijack Delta plane and fly into tallest building in Atlanta GA the Bank of America Plaza at 600 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. He planned to hijack a plane out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (ATL) airport and crash it into the Bank of America Plaza skyscraper. His number one idea was that “for a very successful mission, we need a pilot in the cockpit (which means I should apply for the airlines).”
“Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist and trained commercial pilot Cholo Abdullah was justly punished with life in prison for his plotting to commit a 9/11-style terrorist attack in Atlanta GA,” said Assistant Director in Charge Christopher G. Raia of the FBI, New York office. “This case, which involved a plot to use an aircraft to kill innocent victims, reminds us of the deadly threat that radical Islamic terrorists continue to pose to our nation,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Demers said in a statement. “Cholo Abdi Abdullah was a highly trained al-Shabaab operative who was dedicated to recreating the horrific September 11 terrorist attacks on behalf of a vicious terrorist organization,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. “Abdullah pursued his commercial pilot license at a flight school in the Philippines while conducting extensive attack planning on how to hijack a commercial plane and crash it into a building in America. As he later admitted to the FBI, he was fully prepared to die in his terrorist attack. I commend the years of outstanding investigative work of the FBI and the career prosecutors of this Office who disrupted Abdullah’s murderous plot and brought him to face justice in a U.S. court. He will now spend [decades] behind bars, where he will not be able to harm innocent Americans.”
*NOTE; Palestinian and Libyan Muslim terrorists mastered the craft of hijacking and blowing up civilian passenger airliners, i.e. "Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie". Al-Qaeda Muslim terrorists fine tuned the art of hijacking civilian passenger airliners and used them kamikaze style killing many more innocent civilians on the ground. I have been aware for some many years that Muslim terrorists have continued to plan a massive terror attack using 10 to 12 international civilian passenger airliners with Muslim vetted pilots targeting multiple cities around the USA kamikaze style killing many more innocent civilians on the ground, it was and is called the Bojinka plot. Now with the current hijack attempt of Flydubai's flight FZ1073 a Boeing 737 Max jet by a vetted Muslim pilot to do the same and convicted terrorist pilot Cholo Abdullah, it appears the plot still has legs.
