Unsolved murders of JFK, RFK, Marilyn Monroe and reporter Dorothy Kilgallen are all connected to the same intelligence agency

Movie Star Marilyn Monroe was having a sexual affair first with JFK and then RFK in 1962 and then she died. Several biographers and journalists claim that JFK "passed her off" to his brother RFK. FBI Report; Robert Kennedy had been having a romance and sex affair over a period of time with movie star Marilyn Monroe prior to her death. RFK promised to divorce his wife to marry Monroe, however she realized that Bobby had no intention of doing so. On the evening of August 4, 1962, American actress Marilyn Monroe died at age 36 of a "possible accidental overdose" inside her home at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. An autopsy revealed the cause of death was acute barbiturate poisoning; she had 8 mg% of chloral hydrate and 4.5 mg% of pentobarbital (Nembutal) in her blood and a further 13 mg% of pentobarbital in her liver. Despite the toxicology report, the physical examination found no needle marks or pill residue in her stomach, WTF? The police found empty bottles of these medicines next to her bed. On the day that Marilyn Monroe died Robert Kennedy was in town and registered and staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel just a few miles from the home of Marilyn Monroe. Was Marilyn Monroe murdered or did she die by her own hand, as authorities believed? Was there a cover-up?

The FBI's monitoring of Marilyn Monroe centered on her left-wing associations (Communists), which inadvertently entangled her with the Kennedys and organized crime, the Mafia. Intelligence agencies (FBI & CIA) feared her proximity to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy—combined with her socializing with mob-connected figures like Frank Sinatra and Sam Giancana—posed a national security risk. By 1962, Monroe’s personal life brought her into the crosshairs of the FBI. 

The bureau was aware of her alleged romantic relationships with RFK. During the same period, she was associating with Sinatra and mobsters such as Sam Giancana and Johnny Roselli, particularly through visits to Sinatra's Cal-Neva resort. The Los Angeles Police Department called her death "possibly accidental." The Los Angeles Coroner's Office ruled it a "probable suicide." Others thought the cause of her death was more sinister.

Journalist and television personality Dorothy Kilgallen is linked to the JFK assassination through her extensive, independent investigation into the president's death. Dissatisfied with the Warren Commission's lone-gunman conclusion, she notably interviewed Jack Ruby and claimed she was close to uncovering a larger conspiracy before her suspicious death in 1965. Dorothy Kilgallen died from an overdose of alcohol and barbiturates, which is the same officially classified cause of death as Marilyn Monroe. Kilgallen died on November 8, 1965, while Monroe died on August 4, 1962. Dorothy Kilgallen publicly dismissed the Warren Commission's findings as "laughable". She followed leads, including traveling to New Orleans, and kept secret files of her notes.

Mark Shaw, in his book, argued that her work on the Kennedy assassination, including her suspicion that New Orleans mafia boss Carlos Marcello had orchestrated the killings of both Jack Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby, might have gotten Dorothy Kilgallen killed. (Marcello has been cited in other conspiracy theories involving the Kennedy assassination, most notably in Oliver Stone’s 1991 film, JFK.) Shaw cited lab results he obtained that suggested Kilgallen’s drink had been spiked with drugs. He persuaded Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr., to open a cold case on Kilgallen’s death in 2017, but Vance wound up closing it, citing a lack of evidence that she was murdered. In 2024 New York City councilman Robert Holden asked District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the police to reopen the case, but they declined.
