Tender Age Child Kidnapped from Moreau Lake State Park Found Alive Craig Ross Jr Charged With Kidnapping and Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child

UPDATE WED NOV 29th, 2023. Craig Ross Jr. was arraigned by Judge James Walsh in Saratoga County Court on nine counts, the highest being felony first-degree kidnapping on the morning of Friday, Nov. 17. He is the suspect in the kidnapping case of a 9–year-old girl at Moreau Lake State Park in September. Craig Ross Jr, 46, of 13 Circle Dr. in Porter’s Corners NY, faces a minimum of 15 years to life to a maximum of 25 years to life in prison if convicted on the charge. If convicted, the charges could run consecutively, meaning one after the other, extending the length of time in prison. Of the nine indictments, four are felony predatory sexual assault against a child and two are violent felonies of first-degree sexual abuse according to court documents from Saratoga District Attorney Karen Heggen. A temporary one year order of protection against Ross was also filed in the arraignment by Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Buckley. Craig N. Ross Jr is a child sexual predator, once convicted he will be on the NYS Sexual Offender Registry for life.

Craig N. Ross Jr is a child sexual predator, he has a history in NY. The man suspected of kidnapping nine-year-old girl from a New York state campground last weekend in September was recently investigated on allegations that he sexually abused a 12-year-old family friend. Craig N. Ross Jr., 46, — who was arrested on Monday and charged with first-degree kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of Sena — was accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old acquaintance more than a year ago, the Albany Times-Union reported. Ross, who is not listed as a registered sex offender, resisted arrest when officers attended his property but was taken into custody at 6.30pm.

ABC NEWS UPDATE MONDAY OCT 2nd, 2023 at 7:30 pm, the 9-year-old girl who went missing while on a bike ride at an upstate New York park has been found, police announced Monday evening. "Charlotte Sena has been located and in good health. A suspect Craig N. Ross Jr of Corinth NY is in custody," New York State Police said in a statement. "This is still an active investigation." Sources claim the suspect allegedly left a note at Sena's parents' house — possibly demanding some type of ransom in connection with her disappearance. Sources also said that police had raided a house trailer in West Milton NY on Monday evening Oct 2nd 2023 in search for missing girl. "After some resistance, the suspect Craig N. Ross Jr, a hulking 6' 4" tall and 275 lbs, was taken into custody, and immediately the little girl was found in a cabinet, covered. She was rescued."
