Official cause of death for Karen Swift on or about Oct 30, 2011 was blunt force trauma to the right side of her head above her right eye that caused a depressed skull fracture pushing bone particles into her brain, could have been a handgun used during a pistol whipping. Firearm used as a blunt force weapon in murder. Karen Swift ended up with a hole in her head by some sort of weapon. Depressed Skull Fracture: A depressed skull fracture is a break in a cranial bone with depression of the bone in toward the brain. These types of fractures—which occur in 11% of severe head injuries—are comminuted fractures in which broken bones displace inward, into the brain. Head injuries from pistol whipping are commonly misunderstood as non-specific or resulting from different mechanism. D.A. General Goodman who is trying David Swift for the murder of Karen Swift has voiced a possible scenario on how Karen Swift was killed in her garage but has not provided any evidence to the fact, such as blood spatter, body fluids or anything of value, nor has he identified what the murder weapon is/was. No blood spatter was ever found, because it NEVER HAPPENED THAT WAY!

Dr. Marco Ross also testified there was no way to determine if she'd been sexually assaulted, she was found Dec 10, 2011 in Bledsoe cemetery, nude with her panties pulled down below her knees, which was the M.O. of the Memphis serial killer in 2011. 

If Karen Swift had been pistol whipped and was facing her attacker when hit in the head and ended up with a hole in her temporal bone on right side of her head then most likely the killer would have been left handed and somewhat taller than Karen Swift who was 5' 5" tall and 125 lbs. The DCSO deputy, who testified at the David Swift trial claimed that when he got in Karen Swifts car, that was found abandoned on Sunday morn Oct 31, 2011, that he did not have to adjust the seat, he is 6' 2" tall with a heavy build. Apparently then the last person to drive the car was not Karen Swift but someone about 9 inches taller than her. So now we have a male, left handed, who is about 6' 2" tall who appears to have murdered Karen Swift. David Swift is about 5' 10" tall and he is right handed.

A gun butt from a pistol whipping would definitely have cause a depressed fracture in the head of Karen Swift. The depressed fracture wound was found on the right side of the head above the right eye of Karen Swift. The human skull can withstand 6.5 GPa of pressure while oak holds up under 11 GPa. Frontal bone: this bone comprises the forehead and the upper orbit of the eye. It joins the parietal bones at the coronal suture. Two temporal bones: These bones are located at the sides and base of the skull, and they are the hardest bones in the body. I think that of all the suspected murder weapons, like a hammer or gulf club or baseball bat that have been bantered around by web-sleuths, bloggers, pod-casters and wanna be cops, the most obvious weapon that is prolific in the State of Tennessee and carried by about 58% of the population is a handgun. All of David Swift's firearms were confiscated by DCSO during search warrants at the Swift home, apparently no trace of blood found on any of David Swift's firearms.

In 2014, I told David Swift that his image and reputation was being dragged through the mud by anonymous posters on the Topix/Dyersburg website and that it would be to his advantage to contact local TV or Newspaper reporters to tell his side of the story regarding the unsolved murder of his wife Karen Swift and that he had hired a private investigator. I also told Mr Swift that I had been contacted by a local TV station (Memphis) to do an interview about the unsolved Karen Swift murder. Topix Dyersburg Tried to Cancel Me in 2014 for My Support of David Swift Who Was Later Found Not Guilty of Murder of Karen Swift back in 2011. David Swift found NOT GUILTY of murder of Karen Swift at trial in Dresden TN June 6th 2024. Anonymous posters on Topix/Dyersburg TN tried to put me out of business, Bill Warner private investigator in 2014, for my support of David Swift. "December 18, 2011 Topix/Dyersburg TN, Karen Swift Murder.... Topix in Dyersburg is/was a cesspool and possibly a means of tainting the jury pool for David Swift". Various local governments censured the Topix forums. Many lawsuits resulted from content posted on Topix. I believe that the so-called anonymous posters on Topix/Dyersburg TN were a coordinated effort by the actual people linked to the murder of Karen Swift to place all blame on David Swift.
