ANOTHER UNSOLVED MURDER IN DYERSBURG TN; Unsolved Murder of Brandy Anderson Body Found on Ashley Rd in a Wooded Area Near Cemeteries Last Seen at McDonald's in Dyersburg TN, just like Karen Swift. On April 6th, 2025, the remains of missing Brandy Anderson were located in a wooded area off Ashley Road in Dyer County, this death should now be classified as an unsolved murder. Brandy Anderson, at the time, was 34 when she went missing. She was reported missing by the Dyersburg Police Department on March 9 in 2022. Ashley Rd is in an isolated area of Dyer County, there are 4 cemeteries near this road, with Miller Chapel Cemetery and Shelton Cemetery right off of Ashley Rd in wooded areas. (In the unsolved murder of Karen Swift her body was found near a cemetery in Dyer County). The Dyer County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the skeletal remains as those belonging to Brandy Anderson after receiving DNA results. Brandy Renee Anderson was reportedly last seen when she was dropped off at McDonald's in Dyersburg TN in Jan 2022 approximately one month before she was reported missing. Her date of disappearance is in Namus as February 1st, 2022. "Subject was last seen approximately one month prior to her being reported as missing. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans, and had a tan bag. Subject was dropped off at McDonald's in Dyersburg TN". She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and jeans and carrying a tan bag. “This is a heartbreaking development for Ms. Anderson’s family and our community,” said Sheriff Jeff Box. “Our Investigators will work to identify the cause of death and provide her family with every piece of information we can.” They say the DCSO’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the events leading up to Anderson’s disappearance.

Note: The unsolved murder of Karen Swift whose body was found near Bledsoe Cemetery in Dyer county. One of the last places Karen Swift had been on Oct 29th-30th 2011 was McDonald's in Dyersburg TN. The Farms Halloween party on Oct 29th, 2011 was hosted by 15 to 20 different couples with lots of drinking. Karen Swift left the Farms Halloween party with Bill and Cathy Bona around midnight the night of, Oct 29th, 2011, they all had been drinking, Karen was driving her SUV vehicle. The threesome went to McDonald's to get some french fries. They went through the McDonald's drive-thru and then Karen Swift followed Kathy and Bill Bona to their nearby house (3 min drive). While at Bill and Cathy Bona's house Karen Swift gets a call from her daughter Ashley who decided that she wanted to go home from a girls party, this is about 1:00 a.m. or so on Oct 30th, 2011.
