Sarasota City Commissioners No Help Curbing Newtown Shootings and Murders But Hamstring Cops With Police Advisory Panel. "We can't hamstring our police while defending themselves against dangerous criminals and protecting law abiding citizens with groups like the Sarasota Police Advisory Panel which makes police officers second guess every move they make". The 'Sarasota police advisory panel' meets quarterly and consists of five civilian volunteers, (some lawyers and apparently members of the ACLU), who are appointed by the Sarasota City Commissioners.

The Sarasota City Commissioners are Liz Alpert, Kyle Battie, Hagen Brody, Jen Ahearn-Koch, and Erik Arroyo. The Sarasota City Commissioners and the police advisory panel scrutinize and hamstring the cops while shootings and murders in the Newtown section of Sarasota have skyrocketed this year! The administrator of the police advisory panel is college student Heather Salzman (doctoral candidate in England) who reviews all complaints filed against Sarasota Police Department officers and civilian staff members to assist the Chief of Police with the policies, practices and procedures concerning the processing of complaints. Furthermore, Heather Jane Salzman, who was born in the UK, receives and file complaints from citizens against Sarasota Police Department members, her causes civil rights and social action.

8:54 AM · Mar 10, 2019 "Déjà vu all over again" Newtown Shooting Sunday Morning In The "Courts" Leaves Teen Dead Just 2 Days After Body of Christopher Rashad Ramos Found. Back in April 2011 two British tourists who had wandered into the Courts by mistake and were gunned down by local thugs for no specific reason other than they were "white outsiders".

NEWTOWN: Is this why the Florida Britons were killed? Head directly north through Sarasota’s grid-patterned streets, however, and the atmosphere changes for the worse. First there’s the city’s business center, then the offices give way to smart homes. After a mile and- a-half you’ll reach Newtown. It’s a neighborhood that is never mentioned in the glossy tourist brochures that lure 41,000 Britons to Sarasota every year. By day the atmosphere is unwelcoming, at night it’s downright dangerous and considered a no-go area for outsiders. In these streets university pals Mr James Cooper, 25, and Mr James Kouzaris, 24, were gunned down after straying into the crime ridden public housing project. Apparently victims of a robbery, they died in a hail of bullets as they fled for their lives in the early hours of a Saturday in late April 2011. Shawn Tyson, a dysfunctional teenager who reportedly has the street nickname Young Savage tattooed across his chest, was convicted with the killing of the two Britons. There are many more just like him in Newtown.
