It appears to me that  "Moscow Ripper"  BK was most likely wearing his Apple iPhone Bluetooth headset (black color) when he set off on his early morn road trip at 4:50 am after killing the 4 Idaho Moscow college students, to keep himself awake. I have done it on long drives to keep me awake. That is usually when I drive alone at night on unlit, two lane country roads, just like what  "Moscow Ripper"  Bryan Kohberger did on the morn of Nov 13, 2022.  The earphones allow you to listen to podcasts or music that will keep you awake. It would seem to a reasonable person that BK's road trip going south to Genesse Idaho and then west 8.5 miles (14 min) to Uniontown WA would be an attempt to get out of cell phone tower range/service (dead zones) so that his movements could not be tracked.
