Shooting at Brown Univ by Madman leaves 2 students dead and 9 students wounded, manhunt continues. The search for a gunman in the deadly Brown University shooting remains ongoing after officials in Providence, Rhode Island, announced late Sunday that a detained person of interest would be released from custody. From photo it looks like the suspect is wearing a LL Bean men's winter coat (wind-breaker) with green and purple colors, logo on chest. The suspect is a white male about 5' 8" tall with stocky build, looks to be in his late 20's or early 30's and about 190 lbs with a beer belly.

Brown University is located in Providence, Rhode Island, situated on College Hill in the state's capital, roughly an hour south of Boston and three hours north of NYC. Shooting at Brown University happened inside a classroom in the Barus and Holley engineering building around 4 p.m. Saturday 12/13/2025. Two Brown University students were killed, and 9 students were wounded, officials said.
