UPDATE APRIL 1st, 2023, The IRS made an unexpected visit to the home of Matt Taibbi on the same day that he testified before Congress, the "Twitter Files" journalist has disclosed to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH). I'll bet the FBI has a big file on Matt Taibbi after his 10 year stint doing articles for RT America, (Russia Today). The FBI will get Taibbi tax records for the last 5 years years and see who has been paying him. Along with fellow Twitter Files author Michael Shellenberger, Taibbi testified on March 9 before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, citing internal Twitter communications he obtained showing the social media giant's coordination with the government on content moderation. 

That same day, the IRS visited Taibbi's residence in New Jersey and left a note instructing him to call the agency. Mr. Taibbi was told in a call with the agent that both his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had been rejected owing to concerns over identity theft. NOTE: IRS will and can share information with FBI. IRC 6103(i)(1) provides that, pursuant to court order, IRS return information may be shared with law enforcement agencies (FBI) for investigation and prosecution of non-tax criminal laws.

Multiple tech platforms have complied with the E.U.’s media ban and deplatformed, demonetized, or blocked RT and Sputnik from their services. 

New York CNN Business, RT America will cease productions and lay off most of its staff, according to a memo CNN obtained from T&R Productions, the production company behind the Russian state-funded network. Misha Solodovnikov, the GM of T&R Productions, told staff in the memo that it will be “ceasing production” at all of its locations, this layoff will be permanent, meaning that this will result in the permanent separation from employment of T&R employees at all locations,” Solodovnikov wrote. T&R Productions operated offices in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. The news would mean an effective end to RT America. August 23rd 2012 RT NEWS, Scared of Anonymous: Tampa police prepare for mass arrests during Republican convention.
