Life in Newtown Hood ends early, Travis Combs murder by 3 guys on 22nd Street who flee the area, witnessed by teenager Jabez Spann who was then kidnapped and murdered by same crew of 3 thugs. Everybody knows who did it, but No Snitchin in Newtown. 22nd Street has been location of many shootings and the unsolved murder of Travis Combs on Aug 28th, 2017. January 2nd 2023 Sarasota Herald Trib does puff piece on the unsolved murders in Sarasota and surrounding areas. Six major cold cases still linger from Sarasota and Manatee counties. In September 2017, Jabez Spann, 14, was leaving a friend’s house on 22nd street in Sarasota when he heard a single gunshot. The shot hit Travis Combs, 31, after he was surrounded by a trio in an empty lot in the 1600 block of 22nd street. "Oh my God. Y'all shot him," Spann is quoted in the police report. The suspects scattered — two running north on foot and one taking Combs' car. Spann would go missing a week later after attending a candlelight vigil for Combs, and Jabez's body was found in February 2019 along a fence line in rural Manatee County west of Interstate 75. Appears at least one of the killers has links to this Bradenton area.

Three known Newtown thugs chased 31-year-old Travis Combs into a grassy field next to a home in Newtown section of Sarasota on 22nd street and shouted "Give it up" to Combs as he fled, according to a Sarasota Police Department report obtained by the Herald-Tribune. "I ain't got it," (cash or drugs) said Travis Combs, surrounded by the trio in the empty lot in the 1600 block of 22nd Street. At the same time, Jabez Spann, a 14-year-old who lived about 200 yards away on 23rd Street, was leaving a friend's house on 22nd Street, the report says, when he heard a single gunshot. It struck Combs in the chest. He fell dead. "Oh my God. Y'all shot him," Jabes Spann is quoted as saying in the report, as the suspects scattered two running north on foot on Palmadelia Ave and one taking Combs' car to Bradenton where it was burned. Sex offender Reggie Parker's arrest report states he knew the 3 Newtown thugs who committed the murder of Combs and named two of them but avoided telling law enforcement with the intent of helping the suspects "avoid or escape detection, as per a booking report." Reginald L. Parker refused to name the killers.  Jabez Spann went missing a week later, on Labor Day Sept 4, 2017 after attending a candlelight vigil for Travis Combs on Palmadelia Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets and had been the subject of a nationwide missing child alert for months until his body was found in Bradenton Fl. Sex offender Reginald L. Parker last reported address - Out of State Macon, GA 31204 Bibb County. It appears to me that some real bad dudes lived on Palmadelia Ave and 22nd Street in Newtown section of Sarasota Fl.

Allegedly, Jabez was in the wrong place at the wrong time on August 28, 2017. It is believed that he witnessed the murder of Travis Combs. It’s reported that he told some people that he knew the 3 Newtown thugs who did it and a week later he went missing, NO SNITCHIN. It was over a year before his remains were found by the side of the road in a rural part of Bradenton, Fl. The 3 killers who murdered Jabez Spann and Travis Combs still roam the violent streets of the Newtown section of Sarasota Fl. Jabez Spann reportedly witnessed murder before disappearing, no snitchin in Newtown.  The police report places Spann at the scene of Combs’ shooting, a circumstance that had previously only been rumored. The police report that put Spann at the scene of Combs’ murder stems from the arrest of Reginald Lee Parker, a registered sex offender. Parker, 55, told three people that he witnessed the fatal shooting of Combs. His firsthand account was corroborated by another witness, a woman who also heard the gunshot and saw 2 men running from the area. But according to the report, PARKER changed his account once inside the county jail. When pressed by detectives, Parker denied telling anyone he saw Combs’ death. After he recanted, detectives brought the three people Parker spoke to about the killing into the jail, to confront him in person about his statements. Parker, again, denied witnessing the death. A Sarasota pastor, Kelvin Lumpkin of the Light of the World International Church, first told Sarasota Police detectives that he had information about a homicide. Then, before Lumpkin could be interviewed by prosecutors and police detectives, then Sarasota Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie acting as a private attorney and stated Lumpkin was her client. Freeland Eddie sent SPD and the State Attorney’s Office a letter stating that Lumpkin would invoke his “pastoral privilege” and refuse to answer any questions from investigators, and on and on it goes in Newtown. The shootings, attempted murders, murders and unsolved murders in the No-Go Newtown section of Sarasota give the region a black eye dating back to the April 2011 murder of two British tourists. There is up to a $50,000 reward for information that helps solve Jabez's case. If you have information, please call 941-366-8477 (TIPS).

And so it continues; "MURDER ON PALMADELIA AVE" Feb 6th, 2022. Two teens arrested in shooting death of 17-year-old in Newtown. The Feb 6th, 2022 murder in the 2200 block of Palmadelia Avenue is just right around the corner from the unsolved 2017 murder of Travis Combs in the 1600 block of 22nd Street, Newtown section of Sarasota.

PRIOR NEWTOWN MURDERS; 8:54 AM · Mar 10, 2019 "Déjà vu all over again" Newtown Shooting Sunday Morning In The "Courts" Leaves Teen Dead Just 2 Days After Body of Christopher Rashad Ramos Found. Back in April 2011 two British tourists who had wandered into the Courts by mistake and were gunned down by local thugs for no specific reason other than they were "white cracker outsiders".

NEWTOWN KILLING FIELDS: Is this why the Florida Britons were killed? Head directly north through Sarasota’s grid-patterned streets, however, and the atmosphere changes for the worse. First there’s the city’s business center, then the offices give way to smart homes. After a mile and- a-half you’ll reach Newtown. It’s a neighborhood that is never mentioned in the glossy tourist brochures that lure 41,000 Britons to Sarasota every year. By day the atmosphere is unwelcoming, at night it’s downright dangerous and considered a no-go area for outsiders, especially white outsiders.

In these violent Newtown streets university pals Mr James Cooper, 25, and Mr James Kouzaris, 24, were gunned down after straying into the crime ridden public housing project called the Courts. Apparently "WHITE CRACKERS" Cooper and Kouzaris were victims of JUST BEING IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME, they died in a hail of bullets as they fled for their lives in the early hours of Saturday April 16th, 2011 in the "Courts". Shawn Tyson a dysfunctional teenage thug who reportedly has the street nickname Young Savage tattooed across his chest, was convicted with the killing of the two Britons, but a second shooter got away. Newtown thug Shawn Tyson has a gang member "pal" who got out of Prison on a Court Order, he was doing 12 years on Attempted Murder of his own father. Sarasota Police say Shawn Tyson's "pal" shot his 38-year-old father twice in the early hours of March 5th 2013 in the 1500 block of 22nd Street Newtown. Shawn Tyson's "pal" has priors: Sarasota Police arrested Shawn's "pal" at 17 for a armed robbery on March 18, 2011. Two robbers put a gun to the head of a man working on an air conditioning unit in the 2400 block of Leon Avenue in Newtown and Shawn Tyson's "pal" demanded cash saying "Give it Up". There are many, many more of these thugs in Newtown just itching to pull the trigger.
