In part, Tscheigg’s e-mail said, “I want to come to “RF” company in columbus and just start shooting the whole place up, blowing your heads off, and then I’m gonna go to “Pro” in sarasota and and kill all of them too, see ya soon!!  Im looking forward to painting walls with brain matter:”

A group of approximately 40 individuals and businesses received repeated e-mail and telephone threats or harassment by Tschiegg. At one point, approximately 3500 e-mail accounts were being copied on the threatening e-mails.

Tschiegg used several methods to conceal his identity online, including using his laptop computer to access the Internet through neighbors’ unsecured wireless networks in Sarasota.

Tschiegg also hacked into a Florida state legislator’s e-mail account in October 2008. He used personal information he found about the legislator on the Internet to reset the legislator’s password. Less than two weeks before the November 4, 2008 election, Tscheigg sent two e-mails threatening to injure the legislator, her family, and supporters unless she withdrew from the race.

Tscheigg has been in custody since FBI agents arrested him at his parents’ Sarasota home on February 12, 2009.
Stewart commended the investigation by FBI agents and investigators in the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah A. Solove and Department of Justice Attorney Joseph Springsteen of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section, who prosecuted the case. Stewart also acknowledged the assistance of Assistant U.S. Attorney Laurel Moore in the Middle District of Florida.

Nigerian Charged Over Christmas 'Bomb Plot' Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab had TATP and PETN a "Mother of Satan Bomb" a weapon of mass destruction.

7:06am UK, Thursday January 07, 2010 Kirsty Donald, Sky News Online;

Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, 23, had previously been charged with trying to set off explosives on board a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. He has now also been indicted on six counts, including the attempted murder of the other 289 passengers and crew on board the plane, by a US grand jury. Court documents accused him of "carrying a concealed bomb" inside his clothing on board Northwest Flight 253.

"The bomb consisted of a device containing Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate (PETN), Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP) and other ingredients," the charge sheet said, adding that both substances were highly explosive.  Explosives allegedly in pants, TATP and PETN a "Mother of Satan Bomb".

"The bomb was designed to allow defendant Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab to detonate it at a time of his choosing, and to thereby cause an explosion aboard Flight 253." Mutallab faces life imprisonment if convicted of the charge of trying to use a weapon of mass destruction, the US Department of Justice said.

Two charges of possession of a firearm carry a mandatory jail term of 30 years. "This investigation is fast-paced, global and ongoing, and it has already yielded valuable intelligence that we will follow wherever it leads," Attorney General Eric Holder said, more from this source..............

PETN is a key ingredient of Semtex, the Czech-made military explosive used to down Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988. “These bombs are sophisticated devices,” said a British intelligence official. “They would have been difficult and dangerous to produce. The indictment said AbdulMutallab boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 253 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on December 25, carrying a concealed bomb concealed in his clothing and designed to be detonated “at a time of his choosing.”
TATP has been cited in several terrorism cases. Najibullah Zazi, the 24-year-old Afghan citizen and U.S. resident who was arrested in September and accused of planning to carry out terrorist acts in the United States, was allegedly trying to make TATP in his motel room in Denver, Colorado. Fanatic convert to terrorism spent year in Toronto, Omar Hammami aka Abu Mansour "Al-Amriki" lived in the Somali Immigrant Community Mississauga Terror Central in Canada says private investigator Bill Warner.

Jan 4th, 2010 TORONTO STAR....One of the most visible leaders of an Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist militia in Somalia spent a year in Toronto ingratiating himself into the Somali immigrant community as a convert to Islam. Omar Hammami – known to followers as Abu Mansour "Al-Amriki" (the American) – ate at Somali restaurants and prayed in Somali mosques. He married a Toronto woman of Somali origin and had a daughter with her.

Then, after learning Somali ways, he left to join the Horn of Africa's top terror group, Al-Shabab, to wage Islamic jihad and recruit other foreign nationals to the cause, say former friends and relatives speaking publicly of the terrorist's Toronto connections for the first time. "He betrayed us," says a former friend who worked with Hammami at a Weston Rd. pizzeria. "For a man to be saying that, Islamically, it is okay to be killing innocent people – and yesterday you fed him bread and welcomed him into your houses – it kind of shatters you."

Five ethnic Somali men disappeared from Scarborough this fall, all friends believed recruited into Al-Shabab. Three are said by family associates to have since phoned home from Somalia. No direct connection to Hammami is known but in the Somali community his Internet postings are notorious. On a 2008 recruitment video, referring to one of his dead fighters, Hammami says, "We need more like him.

"So if you can encourage more of your children and more of your neighbours, anyone around, to send people like him to this jihad, it would be a great asset for us." A least 20 young men have left Minneapolis, Minn., for Al-Shabab in the last 18 months. One of them is confirmed to have blown himself up with a car bomb in the Somali port town of Bosasso. Five others are said by relatives to be dead.

For Torontonians, al-Shabab recruitment presents another terrifying possibility: A fanatic returns to explode himself in a crowd. Or as RCMP Commissioner William Elliott put it in October: "The potential follow-on threat is Somali-Canadians who travel to Somalia to fight and then return, imbued with both extremist ideology and the skills necessary to translate it into direct action."

Omar Hammami is 25 years old. He grew up in Daphne, Ala., just outside Mobile. His mother is Baptist by religion. His father is Shafik Hammami, a Syrian-born engineer with the Alabama transportation department and president of the Islamic Society of Mobile. Reached by phone last week, he refused comment.

Although Hammami grew up Baptist, he converted to Islam in the late 1990s while attending Daphne High School. "He had tons of friends," fellow student Shellie Brooks told Fox News four months ago, "and of course things changed a bit when he converted because his beliefs changed." In September 2001, Hammami had just started computer science studies at the University of South Alabama – and been elected head of the Muslim Student Association – when Al Qaeda launched its suicide attacks on the United States.

At the end of 2002, he dropped out of school. How he spent the next two years is not known but in the fall of 2004 he arrived in Toronto from Ohio, says one of his best friends from the period. "He was interested in finding a large Muslim community," says the friend, a Somalia-born Torontonian who asks to be identified only as Abdi, because he says he fears Al-Shabab.

Of any Toronto immigrant community, the city's 80,000 Somalis are the most visibly Muslim, he says, especially the women who copiously cover themselves. Together, Abdi and Hammami took jobs briefly at a dairy distribution company. Afterward they moved to 1 Pizza & Fish & Chips, on Weston Rd. north of Lawrence Ave. W. "I became very close to him," Abdi says. "We talked a lot about religion. I knew a lot of his beliefs and ideology." Hammami considered himself a Salafi Muslim, seeking to practise Islam as people did in the seventh and eighth centuries. But he was not extremist, Abdi says.

Hammami arrived in Mogadishu in late 2005, only to be arrested as a spy by leaders of the Islamic Courts Union, says Abdi, who has been tracking his former friend through personal networks. But Hammami's credentials checked out. The Union, on its way to controlling much of the south in 2006, assigned him to its youth wing – Al-Shabab. Its leader, Aden Hashi Ayrow, sent him to Raas Kamboni training camp at the Kenyan border.

"He began to rise in the ranks," Abdi says. (A U.S. air strike killed Ayrow on May 1, 2008.) In October 2007, Hammami appeared, his face covered, on an Al Jazeera TV report, still accessible on YouTube, about Al-Shabab's and Al Qaeda's "common goal." The report identified him as fighter and military instructor "Abu Mansour the American." In May 2008, he starred in a 31-minute Al-Shabab video, face plainly visible, leading what he called an ambush against invading Ethiopian troops near the south-central city of Baidoa. Kenya's Daily Nation had reported that "Abu Mansur al-Meriki" had become No. 2 commander of an Al-Shabab unit of 180 foreign fighters led by Kenyan national Saleh Nabhan. (A U.S. helicopter raid killed Nabhan on Sept. 16 near Barawe.) more from this source.............

Hello Bill,

I thought this update on Abu Mansour Al-Amriki, whom you correctly connected to Toronto, might interest you. From yesterday's Toronto Star:

TORONTO – Officials on both sides of the border erected a wall of silence Saturday over word that an Afghan immigrant arrested on terrorism-related charges in the United States made at least two trips to Canada.

The reference to Najibullah Zazi’s trips to Canada was almost made in passing Friday by U.S. prosecutor Tim Neff during a Denver court hearing. Zazi is accused of plotting to use weapons of mass destruction to attack commuter trains in New York City to coincide with the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

They say Zazi was stopped by police Sept. 10 as he entered New York, and he dropped his plans for an attack once he realized that law enforcement was on to him.

Neff did not give any other details on the Canadian trips and a spokesman said in an email later Friday that he had no comment on them.

An FBI spokeswoman said Saturday the agency could not confirm “anything regarding this case at this time.” Reports say Saturday that agents with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service were knocking on the doors of relatives of Zazi in Mississauga, Ont, west of Toronto, Friday night. Beyond that, I cannot comment on any individual case before the courts, or any individual file that engages in national security.”

But a private investigator in the U.S., who touts himself as a specialist in tracking down suspected terrorists, as well as suspected philanderers, said the potential Mississauga connection is a “red-flag.” “That’s terrorist central in Canada,” said Bill Warner, a private investigator who boasts he has worked with the FBI on cases involving terrorism.

“If he was in that city, that’s one of the key spots in Canada for these terror connections and they link back into Atlanta, Chicago, Toledo,” Warner said. The FBI wouldn’t confirm Warner’s credentials, saying it could not reveal who the agency works with as a matter of policy.

RADICAL Islamist al-Shabaab militants linked to al-Qa’ida and based in Somalia plotted to kill US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her trip to Africa last month , August 2009 , it was disclosed yesterday, September 08, 2009 .

A planned series of bomb attacks set to take place in Nairobi, the capital of neighbouring Kenya, while Mrs Clinton was there – one in the hotel where she was staying – was foiled at the last minute, media reports, citing senior security officials, said.

Al-Qa’ida wanted to strike at the heart of Nairobi (while Mrs Clinton was here),” the senior security official was quoted as saying, adding that Kenyan authorities intercepted communications between the plotters in war-ravaged Somalia and their operatives in Nairobi, which has a large emigre Somali population.

Five suspected al-Shabaab terrorists were arrested, including a man believed to be a Somali carrying a Danish passport. The four other suspects seized, including a woman, had what appeared to be false Kenyan identity documents, according to the reports.

Disclosure of the foiled bomb plot coincided yesterday with claims by a spokesman for al-Shabaab – which was listed last month as a terrorist organisation by the Australian government after an alleged plot to attack Sydney’s Holsworthy army barracks was discovered – that it was reinforcing its positions around Mogadishu in anticipation of a major battle.

Al-Shabaab spokesman Sheik Ali Mohamoud Rage said the Islamists were preparing to defend themselves against an expected “major aggression” from Somali government forces and peacekeepers from the African Union.

Al-Shabaab and its allied Hezbul Islam group already control much of what remains of Mogadishu. They have vowed to seize control of the whole of the devastated city.

At the just-concluded African Union summit in Libya, the Somali government asked for the full deployment of 8000 peacekeepers, adding significantly to the current strength of the force, which numbers 5000.

It also sought a change in the force’s mandate from one that limits it to protecting senior Somali government officials and installations to one that will enable it to launch pre-emptive strikes against al-Shabaab.

When she was in Nairobi, Mrs Clinton held talks with Somalia’s interim president, Sheik Sharif Ahmed. According to yesterday’s reports, al-Shabaab, which is seen as an al-Qa’ida catspaw and to be posing an increasing regional threat in Africa, planned three attacks in Nairobi while the US Secretary of State was there.

There were to be major bomb blasts in the hotel where Mrs Clinton and her entourage were staying, as well as at another major hotel and a transport hub.

The reports said that so seriously was the view taken by authorities of the al-Shabaab threat that elements from Kenya’s elite presidential guard were deployed as part of Mrs Clinton’s entourage. Yesterday’s reports said there were concerns al-Shabaab militants living in Nairobi might be acquiring Kenyan identification documents, including passports.
Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, in neighbouring Tanzania, were the targets of al-Qa’ida attacks in 1998 that killed 250 people and injured 5000. In 2002, terrorists struck near the port of Mombasa, attacking a tourist hotel and attempting to bring down an Israeli passenger liner leaving the Nairobi airport.

Jamaican Muslim Jihad Cleric Abdullah al-Faisal Still Detained Incommunicado by Kenyan Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) he is preaching incitement to violence.

Jamaican Muslim cleric Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal spent a second night yesterday (Saturday) in the custody of the Kenyan Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) who arrested him in Mombasa on new year’s eve and held him on a holding charge of breaching immigration regulations.

Sheikh al-Faisal is being held at the Kilindini Port Police Station where the ATPU have issued orders that he should not be seen by anyone. The police have not formally said why he was being held but when he was arrested at the Nyali suburbs they claimed he had gone against his tourist visa by giving lectures and addressing congregations in Mosques. When his hosts were asked to take him his baggage yesterday morning (Saturday) they were told he would be deported. However later on Friday afternoon a source said they were still investigating his movements and had taken his laptop to Nairobi for expert analysis on the request of an unnamed foreign country which had issues with the cleric.

Jan. 3rd 2009, Yesterday, Assistant Commissioner of Police Glenmore Hinds said local law enforcement officials were aware that al-Faisal had left the island for Africa over a year ago. “We knew when he left and where he was going,” said Hinds. “He has been there for over a year. al-Faisal was spotted in South Africa Nigeria and Kenya.”

Hinds could not say what route the influential Muslim leader took to get to the African continent but said it was not through the US or Britain. “We know he didn’t take a direct route,” Hinds told the Sunday Observer. Hinds also said that the Jamaican authorities could not stop al-Faisal from preaching in Jamaica. However, “if he is preaching incitement to violence, then that would be something else”, said Hinds.

In 2007 Sheikh al-Faisal was deported from Britain where he had lived for twenty years to his native Jamaica for allegedly preaching “hatred against Jews, Hindus and Westerners”. He had been jailed in 2003 for the offense. Al-Faisal, who is from St James in Jamaica, left the island for the UK 26 years ago.

Born Trevor William Forrest, he earned the nicknamed “Dictionary” because of his vocabulary. His parents were Salvation Army officers and he was raised as a Christian, but when he was aged 16 he went to Saudi Arabia – where he became a Muslim and spent eight years studying Islam at Madina University and later took a degree in Islamic Studies in the Saudi capital of Riyadh before going to the UK. It was not clear whether Britain had requested his removal from Kenya.

ATPU officers in Mombasa however claimed the arrest was over immigration offenses but “he was of general interest to the unit”

(AP) NAIROBI, Kenya Jan 2nd ,2009….A human rights official says a Jamaica-born Islamic cleric once deported from the UK has been arrested by Kenyan anti-terror police. Abdullah el-Faisal was arrested Friday in Mombasa after he left a mosque, says Al-Amin Kimathi, executive coordinator of the Muslim Human Rights Forum.

Police told el-Faisal he had violated the terms of his tourist visa by preaching in mosques. The cleric was sentenced to nine years in British jail in 2003 after being convicted of incitement to murder and stirring racial hatred by urging followers to kill Hindus, Jews and Americans. El-Faisal had his sentence cut to seven years on appeal, and became eligible for parole after serving half his term. He was deported immediately from Britain upon his release in 2007.

In a recorded speech Abdullah El-Faisal told youngsters: “People with British passports, if you fly into Israel, it is easy … Fly into Israel and do whatever you can. If you die, you are up in paradise….How do you fight a Jew? You kill a Jew, in the case of Hindus, by bombing their businesses”. In another lecture he said “Jews should be killed… as by Hitler”.
In mid 2007 Abdullah El-Faisal formed with Yousef al-Khattab in New York, the ephemeral Revolution Muslim Group – RM.

Yousef al-Khattab is seen in photo above he is third from the left with the goofy hat.
Abdullah El-Faisal was convicted in 2003 of soliciting murder and causing racial hatred. Police at the time did not know how many young, impressionable Muslim men he might have turned towards terrorism. But the Government’s official account of the July 7 suicide bombs identified El-Faisal as a mentor of Jermaine Lindsay, who detonated a bomb on a Tube train near King’s Cross, killing 25 passengers.

Lindsay, also from Jamaica and also a convert to Islam, attended at least one lecture by El-Faisal and listened to tapes of his sermons. During the preacher’s trial, he was heard telling audiences to kill Hindus, Jews and other non-Muslims like “cockroaches”. John Reid, the Home Secretary, said: “We are committed to protecting the public and have made it clear that foreign nationals who abuse our hospitality and break our laws can expect to be deported after they have served a prison sentence. “We will not tolerate those who seek to spread hate and fear in our communities.”

El-Faisal, 43, was sentenced to seven years after becoming the first person for a century to be prosecuted under the 1860 Public Order Act. He was released just beyond the half-way point of his sentence with the agreement of the Parole Board. El-Faisal arrived in the UK in 1992 and married a British biology graduate, establishing himself as a lay preacher at Brixton Mosque, often preaching to crowds of up to 500 people.

His preaching came to the attentions of police when tapes of his sermons were found in the car of a suspected rapist in Dorset in late 2001. During subsequent searches of specialist Islamic bookshops and El-Faisal’s rented house in Stratford, East London, police found other recordings in which he exhorted young Muslims to accept the deaths of women and children as “collateral damage” and to “learn to fly planes, drive tanks… load your guns and to use missiles”.

He told young British Muslims it was their duty to kill non-believers, Jews, Hindus and Westerners, urging them to adopt a “jihad mentality”. He also promised schoolboys that they would be rewarded with “72 virgins in paradise” if they died in a holy war. The jury watched a video of El-Faisal after the Sept 11 attacks telling up to 150 young Muslims that the Koran justified attacking “kaffirs”, or unbelievers.
