NYC Cabbie,Yousef al-Khattab, Who Runs Anti-American Islamic Web Site Mocks GI Deaths, Calls for Shia Law In U.S.
IT IS TIME THAT WEB HOSTING COMPANIES IN THE USA TAKE THE INITIATIVE AND SHUT DOWN TERRORIST WEB SITES !
NEW YORK, N.Y. — A New York City cabbie, Yousef al-Khattab. who operates an extremist Islamic anti-American Web site that features violent images — including mocking the deaths of GIs in Iraq — says he’s doing the country a service by “exposing the truth.”
Yousef al-Khattab, who runs www.RevolutionMuslim.com from his home in Queens, told FOX News that he also wants the U.S. to embrace Islam and Sharia Law, which prohibits alcohol and can include stoning to death or severe flogging for pre-marital sex and adultery.
On any given day, log on to al-Khattab's site and a host of startling images appear:
— The Statue of Liberty, with an ax blade cutting through her side;
— Video mocking the beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl, entitled "Daniel Pearl I am Happy Your Dead :) ";
— Video of a puppet show lampooning U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq;
— The latest speech from Sheikh Abdullah Faisal, an extremist Muslim cleric convicted in the UK and later deported for soliciting the murder of non-Muslims.
Even more surprising is that al-Khattab runs his site from his home in Queens, New York.

• Click here to view puppet show lampooning U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq.
And, because al-Khattab enjoys the First Amendment right to freedom of speech, all the authorities can do is watch. Formerly known as Joseph Cohen, al-Khattab is an American-born Jew who converted to Islam after attending an Orthodox Rabbinical school, which he later described as a “racist cult.”
The 39-year-old New York taxi driver launched www.RevolutionMuslim.com with the mission of “preserving Islamic culture,” “calling people to the oneness of God” and asking them to “support the beloved Sheik Abdullah Faisal, who’s preaching the religion of Islam and serving as a spiritual guide.”
In 2003, Faisal was convicted in the U.K. for spreading messages of racial hatred and urging his followers to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. In sermon recordings played at his trial, Faisal called on young, impressionable Muslims to use chemical weapons to “exterminate unbelievers” and “cut the throat of the Kaffars [nonbelievers] with [a] machete.”
Authorities believe Faisal’s sermons have influenced 2005 London transport bomber Germaine Lindsay and "shoe bomber" Richard Reid, who attended mosques where Faisal preached.
At times, al-Khattab's postings are farcical, such as a picture of him holding the book "Nuclear Jihad" with a wry smile on his face. Other messages call for radical Muslim rule worldwide. Al-Khattab claims the Sept. 11 terror attacks were an “inside job,” and he blames U.S. foreign policy for spawning the terrorism that carried out the attacks.
He calls Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and beheaded in 2002 by Islamic extremists in Pakistan, “a convicted spy.” “I could care less about Daniel Pearl,” al-Khattab said in an interview with FOXNews.com. “I’m happy to see that he’s gone.” Click here to view RevolutionMuslim.com.
The content changes constantly. One reason is that the fast flow of information allows messages to spread through cyberspace quickly. Another, terrorism analysts say, is to make it difficult for law enforcement to monitor the site. Despite his radical anti-Western views, al-Khattab says he does not support terrorism of any kind.
Yet, RevolutionMuslim.com claims to be the official site of “North American representatives” for Sheikh Faisal, and it appears dedicated to spreading his radical doctrine. He says Faisal “never said to kill innocent people” and was unjustly imprisoned. He says the real terror organizations are the U.S. Army, the CIA, and the FBI — and the National Coast Guard, “to a lesser extent.”
According to RevolutionMuslim, Faisal — who was deported to his native Jamaica in 2007 — is now receiving donations solicited on the site, including money for a new laptop and DVD burner to spread his message.
It's not illegal to post these messages or collect money for Faisal, but it would be if Faisal were designated a terrorist by the U.S. government. He currently is not listed on any government terror list; a Department of Justice spokesman could not confirm or deny if Faisal is being investigated for any terror related activity.
RevolutionMuslim may look amateurish when compared with other extremist Web sites, but it is no less of a threat, says Mia Bloom, political science professor at the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs.
“It may lead people who become radicalized by it to turn to other, more dangerous Web sites,” such as those run by terrorist organizations, she said. Bloom characterized al-Khattab’s message as “narrow” and “misinformed” and said he is attempting to “proselytize or radicalize people who share some of these same ideas.” “[He] has obviously been duped or is duping others because that’s not what Islam preaches,” she said.
On his site al-Khattab appears to condemn the very democracy that guarantees him the freedom to express himself — a freedom he cites in a disclaimer on his homepage: “We hereby declare and make absolute public declaration that revolutionmuslim.com operates under the first amendment right to freedom of religion and expression and that in no way, shape, or form do we call for war against the U.S. government or adhere to the enemies of the United States elsewhere.”
Under the law FBI spokesman Richard Kolko said it is difficult to bring criminal charges against the operators of Web sites like RevolutionMuslim.com unless specific threats are made against an individual or individuals. Kolko while not speaking directly about RevolutionMuslim said radical sites like these are not often prosecuted. "It's usually a First Amendment right if they don't cross the threshold of making any threats," said Kolko. "There's nothing we should or could do."
“Until the rhetoric reaches the point in which it’s no longer protected speech under the first amendment, it’s hard to stop it,” said security expert, Harvey Kushner.
Samir Khan (his photo) Charlotte NC Web Site Said to Be 'Gateway Drug' To Terror, See Video of Samir Khan's house.
Part of the Revolution.Muslimpad's power comes from the context and interpretation of the radical messages, which experts say offer dangerous inspiration. "This guy [Khan] is plugged into the hardcore ideology that Al Qaeda espouses," said Jarret Brachman, director of research at West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center. Brachman who oversees the center’s research on Al Qaeda and who has been monitoring the site for two years compared it to a "gateway drug." "The goal is to hook people, to get more people in this country to become radicalized and see the world through the lens of Al Qaeda," Brachman said.

Washington, May 2008: The United States might be waging the most relentless battle against terrorism, but its own soil is hosting dozens of websites of groups like Al Qaeda, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah.
Researchers made this startling discovery after being commissioned by NATO officials to study the shadowy cyberspace activity of the most dangerous organisations. Although FBI has shut down a few websites, it is still feared that terrorists could coordinate and mount a 9/11-scale attack through them, warned Niv Ahituv of the Netvision Institute of Internet Studies (NIIS) and Tel Aviv University. "These websites are targeting Muslim mothers in America, Canada, the UK and all over the world, convincing them that being shahid or a suicide bomber is particularly good and very important for their sons," added Ahituv.
Available in English, Arabic, Spanish and other languages, the websites also provide tutorials on bomb building and enlist impressionable American and British Muslim women and men into a life of terror activity.
The study said Islamic Jihad operates 15 websites in Arabic and English, hosted by both US and Canadian companies. Hamas operates 20 websites in eight languages, a portion of which are based in the US and Canada, while Hezbollah operates 20 websites, also hosted by companies in the US and Canada. These findings were presented in Berlin to a closed audience of high-ranking NATO representatives in February.
Paradoxically, "America's First Amendment protects these websites from being shut down," said Ahituv, recognizing the irony of waging a war on terror when some of the most dangerous propaganda is being created at home. NIIS had organized a workshop on terrorist groups and the Internet for North American Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Technology Analysis & Forecasting. Technical University of Berlin also participated in the workshop.

Islamists use US Web firms for recruiting; Agencies mine sites for data
PHOTO ABOVE...Emergency personnel responded to the bombing of a Madrid train in 2004 that killed 191 people. Some specialists say Islamic militant websites can be used to recruit extremists.
For more than a year, a Burlington-based Internet company hosted a website that taught its members how to outfit a suicide bomber, aired Al Qaeda propaganda videos, and offered an "exclusive" Taliban video showing the beheadings of three "spies," according to computer records.
The English-language website, Leemedia.net, was taken down earlier this month - but not in a counterterrorism crackdown, government officials said. Instead, the Web server, Endurance International Corp. Inc., shut it down after Internet watchdogs made repeated demands to remove the terrorist material.
The case of Leemedia.net, which was operated by a suspected terrorist sympathizer in Karachi, is the latest example of how US Internet companies are unknowingly hosting possibly hundreds of the most virulent Islamic extremist websites in the world, inciting young Muslims to kill Christians and Jews.
The phenomenon is so common, however, that the Department of Homeland Security and US intelligence agencies have determined that in most cases it's preferable to keep the sites operating as a way of tracking the spread of radical Islam, rather than try to quell them one by one. They also contend that most of the sites attract what one US counterterrorism official called confused individuals who are not believed to pose a significant threat.
"What's useful about them is to understand the relationships between the various people that are on the sites, obviously in some cases their identities," said a senior US counterterrorism official who asked not to be identified because of his sensitive position.
But many other specialists in Islamic radicalism question the government's logic. They say the online propaganda could recruit new extremists, while the security benefits of monitoring the sites - some of which intelligence analysts have known about for years - is limited.
"There is nothing to learn from them," said Yigal Carmon, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who founded the Middle East Media Research Institute in Washington. "The damage they are causing is far beyond anything that can be learned."
Carmon and others point out that terrorists in Spain and Britain have been indoctrinated with the help of militant websites, including the London and Madrid transit bombers in 2005 and 2004. Militants often rely on Western-based Internet companies to host their sites because they have the most advanced technology, and the radicals feel freer to market their ideas in more open societies with little interference, Carmon said.
His organization has exposed similar sites hosted by companies such as Google and Yahoo in Texas, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Minnesota, Washington, California, Utah, Ohio, and Maryland, as well as another website previously hosted by Endurance International that supported holy war in Iraq and was also shut down by the company.
The company, located in an office suite on Blanchard Road in Burlington, declined repeated requests for interviews but issued a short statement in response to Globe inquiries.
Our terms of service expressly prohibit the use of our services for terrorist or unlawful purposes," according to the statement by Jean McCarthy, marketing director for Endurance International, which has at least $9 million in annual sales. "We do not knowingly host websites that are in violation of our terms of service, unless asked to do so by law enforcement."
However, many such websites - which are estimated to be up to 5,000 worldwide - still operate in the United States with the full knowledge of US counterterrorism officials.
For the government to shut them down would be "pointless," the senior counterterrorism official said, akin to a "whack-a-mole approach to counterterrorism."
"They'll just find another host," the official said. For example, a Phoenix web hosting company recently terminated an extremist site (INFORMATION ON THE SITE FROM SARASOTA PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR BILL WARNER) Brisbane, Australia.
Monitoring them, he added, "is the most useful when they think it is a secure environment but it is not." The Department of Homeland Security agrees that these websites can provide a unique window into radicalization. Under surveillance laws, counterterrorism investigators can track website traffic without a warrant.
"We work with our intelligence community partners to monitor terrorist websites and terrorists' use of the Internet," Russ Knocke, a Homeland Security spokesman, told the Globe in a statement. "We've also established an inter-agency working group to deepen our understanding of the phenomenon of radicalization."
At the same time, many US counterterrorism officials also insist that young Muslims do not become terrorists by viewing the websites alone; typically they become radicalized and dangerous after forging personal connections with a charismatic leader or after attending a terrorist training camp. "I think we have pretty much concluded that it is very seldom that someone has used the Internet solely for radicalization," the US counterterrorism official said in an interview, calling most of the website users "pre-terrorists."
Visiting a site "certainly gets you on a path toward radicalization but alone doesn't really do much good," he said. Not so, according to several terrorism specialists. Many of the websites, they point out, target young Westerners to join the cause of jihad, or holy war, by translating the propaganda materials into their native languages.
Leemedia.net - an acronym for "La Elaha Elallah," meaning "The True Path" in Arabic - appeared to be part of that effort. For example, the site translated radical videos into Turkish in an apparent attempt to reach the sizable Turkish community living in Germany, said Aaron Wiesburd, who runs a consulting firm called Internet Haganah and has been hired by US intelligence agencies for advice in tracking terrorist websites.
Computer records show that Leemedia.net had about two dozen core members, who are invited to participate in exclusive discussion forums, in Pakistan, the Balkans, northern and central Europe, Canada, and the United States, Wiesburd said. The founder, listed as Tanzil Ahmed, is also believed to be connected to a radical Islamic missionary organization based in Pakistan called Tablighi Jama-at, he said.
Supporters of a more systematic Internet crackdown maintain that there are only about 500 core sites that generate radical material and that most of them are hosted on one of the 20 or so major Internet service providers in the world, mostly in Western countries. "The real fountains of venom are no more than 500 or less," said Carmon. "It is very manageable. We can shut them down, and we will."
Rep. Myrick Unveils “Wake Up America” Agenda(Washington, D.C.) –
Rep. Sue Myrick (NC-9) released her “Wake Up America” agenda. Rep. Myrick’s goal in releasing her agenda is to alert, and educate, Americans to terrorist threats here at home posed by radical Islamic extremists. This is her agenda, this is not the agenda of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus. This agenda is the start of Rep. Myrick’s work on these issues. As she moves forward on these points, she will update the public on her findings.
Her ten point agenda is below.
1). Will call for a government investigation of all U.S. military chaplains who were approved by Abdurahman Alamoudi.
2). Will call for a government investigation of all U.S. prison chaplains who were approved by Abdurahman Alamoudi.
3). Will call for the Government Accounting Office (GAO) to investigate the selection process of Arabic translators in the FBI and DoD.
4). Will call for the Internal Revenue Service to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) 501(c)(3) non-profit status which restricts “lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.”
5). Introduce a bill to make the preaching, publication, or distribution of materials that call for the death of American citizens, attacks on the United States Government or Armed Forces, or the financing of the means and/or operations to accomplish these acts, acts of sedition and/or solicitation of treason.
6). Will call on the Government Accountability Office to conduct an audit to verify the total sovereign wealth fund investment in the United States.
7). Will attempt to cancel scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia until they reform their textbooks.
8). Will introduce a bill to restrict R-1/R-2 religious visas for imams who come from countries that do not allow reciprocal visits by non-Muslim clergy.
9). Will introduce a bill to cancel contracts to train Saudi police and other security forces in US Counterterrorism tactics until the Saudi’s certify the prosecution of Al Qaeda financiers, like Yasin al-Kadi, and the detention of repatriated Guantanamo terrorists that keep being released into the general population after being “rehabilitated.”
10). Will introduce or sponsor a bill to block the sale of sensitive military munitions, especially Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs), to Saudi Arabia.
FIGHT FORECLOSURE....ANSWER THE FORECLOSURE LAWSUIT AND/OR COUNTER SUE....FILE CHAPTER 13 BANKRUPTCY TO REORGINIZE DEBT FOR REPAYMENT.
File an answer to the Foreclosure lawsuit; it's absolutely essential for homeowners to respond to a foreclosure lawsuit by filing an answer. If a homeowner does nothing, judges have no choice but to rule in a bank's favor when a bank asks for a summary judgment. It isn't necessary to have a lawyer to file an answer. Just make sure a written answer is filed, even if you have to write it yourself.
YOU CAN ALSO COUNTER SUE, FORCE THE MORTGAGE COMPANY TO PROVE THAT THEY ACTUALLY OWN THE MORTGAGE WHEN THE SUIT WAS FILED.
"Judges are very, very reluctant to default someone who has made an answer," many attorneys will do an initial consultation for free or for only a small fee. If you are sued for foreclosure, talk to a lawyer and see if he or she thinks you have a chance to save your home.
Filing Chapter 13 reorganizes your debts and stops forclosure. Chapter 13 reorganizes your debts. You still have to pay off your debts but you'll have three to five years to do so. This gives you extended time to pay off those mortgage payments you missed, and it allows you to continue living in your home under a new mortgage payment schedule.
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- For many people, filing for bankruptcy is seen as a scary, worst-case scenario, but consumer advocates say this last resort could be a real help for beleaguered homeowners. There is no shortage of proposals in Congress to address the housing crisis: the Depression-era Federal Housing Administration is up for a makeover, and there are other plans to ease the stress of pricey mortgages. Under veto threat is a proposal that consumer advocates see as key to helping more people stay in their homes: allowing bankruptcy courts to modify troubled mortgages on primary residences.
Under current Chapter 13 bankruptcy law, courts cannot modify the mortgage on a principal residence, though they may for vacation or second homes. Consumer advocates and others see bankruptcy, which is meant to adjust debt and make it easier for people to repay creditors over time, as an efficient and effective alternative.
"Most American homeowners understand the long-term impact of filing for bankruptcy. You have to wait before you can apply for a mortgage again. It impacts your credit,". Speaking Thursday, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., offered his support for the modification of loans to avoid foreclosure or bankruptcy.
"It's also time to amend our bankruptcy laws," Obama said, "so families aren't forced to stick to the terms of a home loan that was predatory or unfair."

Ohio Homeowner Fights Foreclosure and Lives Payment Free for 11 Years
By Moe Bedard on December 28th, 2007
Let the truth be known. Most homeowners do not respond or fight back when they are facing foreclosure. The lender files the notice of default and the court hearing comes and goes without a peep, answer or simple appearance from the defendant (homeowner). 120-180 days later, the trustee sale happens on the court steps and they become another foreclosure statistic.
Then there’s people that just don’t lie down and they fight back to protect their property rights and against injustice.
Meet Richard Davet, a homeowner from from Ohio. A man that I consider a modern day hero and he should be a role model to hundreds of thousands of other Americans that are facing foreclosure.
In 1996, Mr. Davet was served with a foreclosure action in his Cuyahoga County, Ohio 1940’s 6 bedroom home. Unlike many homeowners that just take their foreclosure medicine and move on to rent, Richard Davet decided he was going to fight back against NationsBanc Mortgage Corp. and challenge them till the end in a Ohio court of law.
Davet planted his heels firmly and turned his fight into a full time job as he hit the books at the library of Case Western Law. He began his fight by challenging the lawsuit and then pro-longed the suit by flooding the court with motions, objections and affidavits, and he appealed the judge’s rulings at every chance, which bought him 11 years, mortgage payment free in his home.
Wall Street Journal;
“Mr. Davet has litigated these same issues over and over again…and in each instance the courts have dismissed his claims,” said Bank of America Corp., Charlotte, N.C., which merged with the owner of NationsBanc.
Several years into the case, Bank of America took the unusual step of bringing in lawyers from a big corporate law firm, Jones Day. Five years later, in 2005, a judge granted foreclosure in the amount Mr. Davet owed and set a sale date for the property so that the creditors could take the sale proceeds. But when the property finally went to sale, Mr. Davet set up a shell company to win the auction, for $436,000. He couldn’t pay more than the required $10,000 deposit, but the move delayed his eviction by months.
Mr. Davet says it wasn’t a delay tactic and that he was trying to line up investors to buy the property. The house was later sold to another family for $410,000. The eviction finally happened on a snowy day in January of this year. Don Saunders, who lived three doors down from Mr. Davet and is a trustee of the neighborhood association, says it came as a shock in the upscale area.
Mr. Davet could be called a foreclosure fighter and pioneer or what a lot of critics have called him, “a deadbeat”. I call him a hero because he is a man of conviction and will power.
The Wall Street Journal;
The mortgage company that filed the suit, then NationsBanc Mortgage Corp., had so much trouble with the case that four years into it they brought in lawyers from Jones Day.
I obtained this quote from the law firms website;
Since 1893, Jones Day has grown, in response to our clients’ needs, from a small, local practice to a truly global firm with more than 2,300 lawyers in 30 offices around the world. Today, Jones Day is one of the most recognized and respected law firms in the world, and we count more than 250 of the Fortune 500 among our clients. I think it’s quite amusing that a homeowner from Cuyahoga County, Ohio gave this powerful, 2,300 lawyer and 30 office law firm a 11 year fight.
More form WSJ; Mr. Davet continued to try, unsuccessfully, to get the federal court to agree that the state judgment was invalid. Then, a possible lifeline arrived this past October, when a federal judge in Cleveland, Christopher A. Boyko, dismissed 14 foreclosure suits because the plaintiffs that brought them couldn’t prove they owned the mortgages when the suits were filed.
Such a problem can occur when mortgages are turned into securities and sold to investors. The companies involved in the transaction may not have checked that each mortgage was legally transferred, or “assigned,” to the new owners. In essence, the originating lender continued to legally own the mortgage — and would thus need to be the plaintiff in a foreclosure suit.
In Mr. Davet’s case, however, the mortgage, which was not securitized, changed hands multiple times and wasn’t actually owned by NationsBanc until three years after the company filed suit.
Other judges have since followed Judge Boyko’s lead.
The Ohio attorney general has asked numerous judges to dismiss or delay foreclosures based on similar grounds. Earlier this month, Mr. Davet filed a second federal appeal, this time citing the Boyko ruling, which he believes he inspired. It’s unclear whether the latest salvo will work. If it doesn’t, Mr. Davet says, he will set his sights on the U.S. Supreme Court.
There are many debates circulating in the blog-sphere and forum arena on the internet in regards to foreclosure defense actions and the recent Ohio rulings. We reported on the recent Judge Boyko ruling and other similar rulings that are coming out of Ohio in November. These cases and many like them are at the forefront of the foreclosure legal sphere and will remain a hot topic as the foreclosure crisis continue with now apparent end in sight.

Birth date: August 14, 1963
Place of Birth: Unknown
Skin Tone: Medium
WARRANT ISSUED: Los Angeles CA USA
WARRANT NUMBER: W9440290659
DATE ISSUED: June 14, 1996.....UPDATED 1/01/2008
MISC: Lebanese citizen, likes to travel to Spain, London, and other European locations. Tabbara is balding and sometimes wears a hairpiece. Wanted for transportation of stolen vehicles and stolen goods.
IDENTIFYING MARKS: Unknown
NCIC FINGERPRINT CLASS: Not Available
SYNOPSIS: In July 1995, Customs received a tip alleging the transportation of stolen property out of the U.S. Subsequent investigation revealed the suspect and shipper to be Mohamad Tabbara, doing business as A-Z International from Huntington Beach, California. Four containers shipped by Tabbara were examined by Customs Inspectors, seven stolen vehicles, stolen office equipment, and furniture were recovered. Both new and used personal effects were also recovered by the search.
Mohamad Reda Tabbara wanted for International Export of Stolen Vehicles ("Black Cars") to Dubai; U.S. Customs agents learned that Tabbara was shipping stolen automobiles from California to the United Arab Emirates (DUBAI) to be sold on the "Black Market". U.S. Customs also intercepted stolen automobiles shipped by Tabbara to Singapore, with Jordan the final destination.
Mohamad Tabbara is a Lebanese National, Tabbara has operated the following car export businesses in the Los Angeles area: the A-Z Trading Company; A-Z International; A-Z Wholesale; and A-Z Export/Import.
Bought and sold on the international black market, cars and trucks help fund criminal operations and can be turned into the terrorist weapon of choice against U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians: vehicles packed with explosives. The FBI declined to estimate how many stolen U.S. cars have turned up as car bombs in Iraq but said the number is believed to be at least in the dozens.
He is also known as Mike Tabbara, he likes to travel to Spain, London, and other European locations. Tabbara is balding and sometimes wears a hairpiece. Wanted for transportation of stolen vehicles ("BLACK CARS" stolen vehicles with a switched VIN).
A salvaged or junked vehicle is low valued because it may have been heavily damaged, burned, stripped, abandoned, or even previously stolen and recovered. A suspect will buy a salvaged or junked vehicle solely for the title and VIN information. He will then steal an identical vehicle, and changed the VIN of the stolen vehicle to match the VIN of the salvaged vehicle.
The disguised stolen vehicle is then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Legally, the buyer only owns the title to the salvaged vehicle, which may still be sitting at a junk yard or may have been chopped to pieces by the suspect to avoid its discovery and examination by police.
Used Car Exporters in the USA linked to the 'car rackets" scour the salvage auctions (on-line too) for late model luxury vehicles such as Mercedes SUV, BMW and Cadillac, purchase "as is" for pennies on the dollar and then have gang members steal vehicles to match in make, color, etc., switch the VIN's, the stolen car becomes the salvaged car and voila' a clean title and now you can sell the vehicle for tens of thousands of dollars.
Mike (Mohamad) Tabbara has numerous connections in Dubai and may very well be in the Dubai Free Port Zone exporting used cars.Tabbara has been indicted for prosecution under Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2312 and 2314, Transportation of Stolen Vehicles and Transportation of Stolen Goods. A policeman stands at the spot of a blast in Jaipur, India, a man lies dead from a wound to his throat in the rickshaw.
Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
Five bombs ripped through crowded parts of an ancient city in western India on Tuesday, killing at least 80 people and wounding 100 others, police said.(AP Photo)
JAIPUR: Terror struck yet again — this time in Jaipur, at the busiest market, at the busiest hour, aimed with chilling precision to kill, maim, terrify and cleave the country. At last count, the toll was 80 killed, and with over 150 injured, it could go up. (Watch) VIDEO IN ENGLISH
The first blast took place at 7.20pm on Tuesday in the crowded Johari Bazaar and within 15 minutes seven more blasts occurred in adjoining areas in the walled city — near the Hanuman Mandir, which was milling with devotees, near Hawa Mahal, at Badi Chaupad, Tripolia Bazar and Chandpole. Within minutes, the entire market was a picture of total chaos.
People ran screaming, jumping over dead bodies and severed limbs, skirting mangled rickshaws and damaged cars. The piercing wail of ambulance sirens replaced the firecrackers that would go off every other day in Jaipur to celebrate its victorious Rajasthan Royals T20 team. Terrorists displaying the telltale tactics of Lashkar-e-Taiba (AL-QAEDA LINKED) and SIMI struck with bombs planted on cycles and cycle-rickshaws. In the past three years, this is the 21st terror attack outside Jammu & Kashmir.
Chief minister Vasundhara Raje said, "We will not tolerate this." Police later arrested a man from Mumbai. Rajasthan's director general of police, A S Gill, said the attacks were designed to cause maximum damage and the sites had been picked with care. He confirmed that bombs had been planted on brand- new Avon cycles.
Similar cycle blasts on September 8, 2006, in Malegaon, Maharashtra, had killed 38 people during a Muslim festival day. Bombs on cycles were also used for the attack on the Faizabad court. The Malegaon attacks were blamed on LeT (AL-QAEDA LINKED) and the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India. The Jaipur attack might have been worse had three unexploded bombs not been defused in the walled city area. Another bomb was defused in the upmarket Raja Park area, triggering fresh fears. Mercifully, the city was keeping calm.
Stolen USA cars linked to terror attacks in Iraq, caution video is disturbing !
A FBI report that says stolen cars from the U.S. are turning up in the hands of terrorists overseas is raising new questions about security at American ports.
Tens of millions of dollars in stolen cars, head out of USA ports and overseas every year.
With one car stolen every three minutes in the USA, the cost for all Americans who pay insurance premiums is more than a billion dollars. "You've got twenty to thirty-thousand higher-end stolen vehicles leaving the USA (Port of Tampa) every year and they are worth $50,000 each.
"We've had situations where members of their operation have indicated that stolen vehicles are headed for example to the Port of Tampa, and even knowing that they let those stolen vehicles proceed out of the port,". The insurance industry has been arguing that stolen cars shipped out of the ports in containers should be searched by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection a division of the Department of Homeland Security, but they are not. "When the Insurance Bureau brought them the cold hard facts, and offered them the information, they resisted it, and they're still resisting it to this day,". "I don't think they want to do U. S. Federal law enforcement work."
There are also mounting concerns about where these cars are heading, according to a recent report in the Boston Globe. A small number (much more than thought) of stolen cars swiped off the streets of America are showing up in the hands of Iraqi insurgents, who are using them as car bombs, according to the FBI.
The FBI has declined to pinpoint how many stolen U.S. cars have been used as car bombs in Iraq but said the number is believed to be at least in the dozens. In the United States alone, authorities estimate one million vehicles are stolen every year. But only about 35 per cent of them are ever found.
More recently, the case against the suspected terrorist cell that allegedly plotted to blow up John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York includes evidence of falsified vehicle registration documents. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials have uncovered a crime syndicate in Los Angeles that is believed to have shipped stolen vehicles to the breakaway Russian region of Chechnya, a hotbed of Muslim extremist activity. Stolen American vehicles continue to show up in the hands of Iraqi insurgents. "There is a very strong link to terrorism," said Jerry Cox, an attorney for the National Insurance Crime Bureau, which fights insurance fraud and vehicle theft on behalf of more than 1,000 insurance providers and members of the automotive industry.

86 Stolen Cars Worth Dhs.5.5million Seized Over the Past 6 Months
Dubai Customs , Ports Customs and Free Zone Corporation recently organized a specialised workshop entitled "Stolen cars workshop", the first of its kind in the UAE, in its continued efforts to increase control, and create awareness amongst inspectors and introduce them to the latest means of combating auto theft.
The workshop was attended by inspectors from various customs administrations in the UAE, as well as the Federal Customs Authority, other security authorities and related government departments. The opening address was delivered by Mr. Khalid Khammas, Executive Director, Customs Compliance Division, during which he stated that auto theft has become an international phenomenon, the solution to which requires considerable thought, particularly as auto theft is categorised as organized crime.
He added that the importance of this workshop is to ring the alarm bells so that this threat to the security of both the state and society can be addressed. He concluded that the workshop will contribute to raising awareness and preparedness to reduce the occurrence of these crimes.
Khammas also called for the unification of efforts to implement existing legislation, information exchange, and for strengthening cooperation between departments and concerned authorities. He went on to appeal to legislators to enhance existing laws by making them more stringent in an effort to face the threat of auto theft and smuggling.
In his turn, Mr. Yousuf Ozair, Senior Manager, Intervention Management Department, presented a brief description of the role played by the Division of Vehicle and Transportation which was established in September 2007 to address auto and vehicle theft locally and internationally.
Ozair stated that since the launch of this division to date, covering a period of six months, 86 stolen cars worth approximately Dhs.5.5million were seized during attempts to smuggle them into Dubai. At a lecture given by the Interpol, Ali Al Khayal presented a detailed account of Interpol's role in fighting global crime, and explained how concerned departments in other countries communicate and cooperate with the Interpol.
Al Khayal confirmed that auto theft crimes in the UAE have declined significantly due to effective theft combating operations by UAE customs authorities. He added that 2005 saw the screening of information of 6556 cars which led to the seizing of 460 cars, this figure declined in 2007 to only 16 seized cars after inspecting information of 3098 cars. Al Khayal commented that these figures indicate that organized crime has moved away from the Emirates as a result of their knowledge that they would face serious confrontation.
The workshop concluded with the following recommendations:
Establishing an electronic link between Dubai Customs Ports Customs and Free Zone Corporation and other security agencies, particularly Dubai Police and Interpol, as well as the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority).
Establishing a permanent workgroup to include all UAE government departments.
The need for all shipping and auto companies in the UAE to participate and attend workshops and other related activities. Creating unified traffic linkage within the UAE.

CONFESSIONS OF A FEDERAL CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT, STOLEN CARS FROM TAMPA TO DUBAI IN SUPPORT OF TERRORISM.
PHOTOS ABOVE; Used Car dealer Abdurahman Alamoudi L. -. and Car Video R.
Over the course of the investigation into the Shiite used car racket in Tampa by CI William Edwards it became apparent that the majority of the vehicle exporters were Iraqi refugees and some of them helped organize the 1991 uprising against Saddam Hussein in Iraq, others showed up in Tampa after an aborted, CIA-supported Iraqi coup in 1996. Although they presented a serious threat to his regime (1991 insurgents), Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was able to suppress the rebellions with massive force and maintain power, as the expected intervention by the United States (CIA and DOD) never materialized. The uprisings were eventually crushed by the Iraqi Republican Guard, followed by mass reprisals and in few weeks tens of thousands of civilians were killed. The revolts in the Shia-dominated cities of Basra and Nasiriyah broke out in March 1991, involved demoralized Iraqi Army troops returning from Iraq's defeat in the Persian Gulf War but were largely organized and led by sectarian Shia who were based in Iran
The Shiite Iraqi refugees (now Car dealers) who arrived in Tampa Fl after the 1991 and the 1996 Iraq uprisings had been left to hang out to dry by the CIA and the U.S. DOD which never intervened, just like the Bay of Pigs fiasco in Cuba, no love lost here for the USA.
The Tampa (Iraqi) Shiite used car dealers who were exporting vehicles, operated out of the Port of Tampa and the Port of Savannah, vehicles were purchased at salvaged auto auctions and or from street hustlers of recent stolen vehicles. Stolen vehicles were disassembled, the engine and transmission taken out and then shipped with the hull of the vehicle packed in shipping containers as "auto parts" and sent to Dubai UAE.
As such the U. S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the various U.S. Ports do not check the "VIN" (vehicle identification number) of exported "auto parts" and upon receiving the "auto parts" in Dubai (were whole industries exist to do just such work, including welding back together vehicles that had been cut apart) the vehicles are reassembled and sold at 2 to 3 times the retail that is obtainable in the USA, older vehicles are shipped into Iraq to be used as car bombs, see FBI report here that indicates that at least dozens of USA cars have been used as car bombs in Iraq.
A long time Al-Arian associate and used car dealer in Virginia is convicted terrorist bagman Abdurahman Alamoudi who also ran a used car dealership in Virginia, ALAMOUDI WAS THE OWNER OF THE SHIRLINGTON AUTO MART-USED CAR LOT IN ARLINGTON VA, currently Alamoudi is doing 23 years at the Federal Transfer Center (FTC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which is an administrative facility housing male and female holdover offenders, a US federal prison, for illegal financial transactions and for his involvement in a scheme to assassinate Crown Prince Abdullah (now King) of Saudi Arabia.
Alamoudi was caught with $340,000 in cash, 34 bundles of sequentially numbered $100 bills to be used to pay terrorists to kill the Saudi Crown prince (now King), money indirectly from the same Jeddah Saudi individuals linked in the Iraq Study Report who are funding al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq. Alamoudi was brought to Tampa Fl in 2005 to testify against Sami al-Arian, Alamoudi was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on 7/19/2005 and stayed there until 11/01/2005, but never went to Court to testify against his buddy Al-Arian ?
CI William Edwards was able to put together an international network of linking Car Importers & Exporters from around the world who in turn all shipped vehicles (sometimes stolen) to Dubai UAE and or Jeddah SA for re-export to Iraq for sale or to be used as car bombs, the "Cars Became The Cash" for terrorists in Iraq, no money needed to cross the borders.
CI William Edwards efforts were paid off in dribs and drabs of cash totally only $2,900 and always in old $100 bills (possibly confiscated drug money), the big money promised from the Rewards for Justice Program that pays up to $5,000,000 for information leading to the disruption of a terrorist funding system; International terrorism is financed by money sent to terrorists from sources around the world. The U.S. Secretary of State is authorized to pay rewards of up to $5 million for information leading to the dismantling of any system used to finance a terrorist organization has never materialized !

Bought and sold on the international black market, cars and trucks help fund criminal operations and can be turned into the terrorist weapon of choice against U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians: vehicles packed with explosives, Car Bombs.. The FBI declined to estimate how many stolen U.S. cars have turned up as car bombs in Iraq but said the number is believed to be at least in the dozens.
"A car bomb is the absolute favorite delivery method of terrorists," said Special Agent Ryan Toole of the FBI's Major Theft Unit in Washington. "Tracing that VIN is very, very important" to identifying where the vehicle originated or determining how it ended up in terrorist hands.
Toole said American-made vehicles are particularly attractive to terrorists in places such as Iraq. Forensics specialists there have identified some bomb-rigged cars as vehicles that were swiped off American streets and sold overseas by criminal gangs and organized crime syndicates.
Terrorists desire a "vehicle like a Suburban because it can hold a lot but it also blends in," said Toole, who is leading the FBI's efforts to complete the database.
That particular Chevrolet SUV model is popular, he said, because "it looks like an American security vehicle" in Iraq and "they can get closer to their target than if it was a beat-up old Toyota."
The used car investigation into certain Tampa (Iraqi) used car exporters is ongoing and has been taken over by the FBI due to the obvious links to terrorism.
