Subway hero Marine Daniel Penny railroaded by NY DA for standing up to threat of violent unhinged vagrants who terrorize riders everyday

MAUREEN CALLAHAN WRITES: Did you know subway chokehold casualty Jordan Neely was once arrested for trying to kidnap a 7-year-old girl? The ex-Marine’s arrest is an outrage and a disgrace - so yes: business as usual for DA Bragg. Violent unhinged vagrant Jordan Neely, 30, was yelling and pacing back and forth on an F train in Manhattan on Monday afternoon when he was restrained by at least three people, according to police and witnesses. Jordan Neely had been arrested multiple times and had recently pleaded guilty for assaulting a 67-year-old woman leaving a subway station in 2021.Video of the incident posted online by a freelance journalist showed a U.S. Marine veteran lying beneath Neely and holding him in a headlock position for several minutes as Neely unsuccessfully tried to break free. Another passenger pinned Neely's arms, while a third held down his shoulder. Hero Marine Daniel Penny, 24, who placed Jordan Neely in a fatal chokehold on a Manhattan subway train on May 1, was arraigned Friday on a second-degree manslaughter charge and released on $100,000 bail. Newsweek reported that the 30-year-old Jordan Neely had been arrested 42 times, with charges ranging from criminal trespassing to transit fraud to 4 arrests for violent assault. Subway hero Marine Daniel Penny did not apply a “chokehold“. He did apply a carotid restraint. In California the carotid restraint is taught in police academies on the escalation of force model for use with violent and dangerous subjects who refuse to submit to lawful commands. This submission hold rates higher than pepper spray or tasers but lower than batons or lethal force. Subway hero Marine Daniel Penny railroaded by NY DA, he stands up to the threat of violent unhinged vagrants who terrorize the subways, everyday, and he is somehow the bad guy? Donate to his defense, I did! https://nypost.com/2023/05/13/daniel-pennys-defense-fund-passes-1-million/

Sarasota Woman Madeline C. Nikolson Pleads Guilty To Conspiracy To Defraud The United States IRS Scheme at her 1500 Stickney Point Rd Restaurant.

Sarasota Woman Madeline C. Nikolson Pleads Guilty To Conspiracy To Defraud The United States IRS Scheme at her 1500 Stickney Point Rd Restaurant on the Intracoastal waterway. Nikolson co-owned a restaurant in Sarasota with her partner. Florida business records show Madeline Nikolson is associated with 3900 Trios LLC which has the same address as the The Boatyard Waterfront Bar and Grill next to the Stickney Point bridge. Tampa, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Madeline Nikolson has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and to impede and impair the ability of the Internal Revenue (“IRS”) to ascertain and collect personal and corporate income tax revenue. Nikolson faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set. According to the plea agreement and information presented at the plea hearing, Nikolson owned and managed a restaurant in Sarasota at 1500 Stickney Point RD. Beginning at least as early as August 2013, she and her partner and co-owner of the restaurant instituted a scheme to defraud the IRS by removing the records of daily cash sales from the point-of-sale registers at the restaurant, leaving the record to consist only of credit card sales. The owners used this falsified record of sales income to submit to tax preparers who prepared both their personal income tax returns and their corporate tax returns for tax years 2016, 2017, and 2018. As a result, they falsified and removed any reference to approximately $726,105 in sales income from their corporate and personal tax returns for those tax years, resulting in over $100,000 of taxes due and owing on those sums of unreported income. This case was investigated by the IRS - Criminal Investigation. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jay L. Hoffer.
