TAMPA, Fla. Attorney John Morgan wants to create a third political party in America my suggestion is the 'Peoples Federalist Party'.

TAMPA, Fla. Attorney John Morgan wants to create a third political party in America my suggestion is the 'Peoples Federalist Party'. The original 'Federalist Party' in 1791 was a conservative and nationalist American political party and the first known political party in the United States. TAMPA, Fla. - John Morgan, a personal injury attorney and founder of Morgan and Morgan, "For The People", wants to create a third political party and is offering $100K to the winner of a contest to name it. Morgan said he wants to create a third party that has "labels" associated with it. Over the next few days, Morgan said he is going to be rolling out the paperwork that he already has done to create a third party in Florida. He added that he is going to have a contest to name the third party and the winner will get $100,000.

According to a recent poll by the Pew Research Center, 37% of Americans want more major political parties. UCF political science professor Aubrey Jewett is seeing that frustration show up with younger voters. "There's definitely some signs that a lot of Americans are frustrated with the major political parties," Jewett said. Along with building a billion-dollar personal injury law firm, Morgan has been a prominent political donor, helping raise Florida’s minimum wage to $15 an hour and supporting the statewide push to legalize medical marijuana. John Adams (1735–1826) was an American Founding Father who served as the second president of the United States (1797–1801) and the first vice president (1789–1797) under George Washington. A 'Federalist' from Massachusetts, he was a key leader in the American Revolution, helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris, and maintained peace with France during his presidency.

New for 2026 "The Peoples Federalist Party". Back in 1791 the birth of a strong political party, widely considered to be the first American political party in 1791, the Federalist Party was founded by Alexander Hamilton and gave rise to the first president to be elected under partisan conditions, John Adams. Other notable Federalists include James Madison and George Washington, although the latter ran for president without strict affiliation. The party was known for backing a strong centralized federal government. Regardless of its reputation as an elitist, vaguely anti-democratic entity, the Federalist Party can be credited with major developments in the American legal and judicial systems, as well as U.S. fiscal and foreign policy. In 1787, the Federalists played a major role in crafting the new U.S. Constitution as part of the Philadelphia Convention. The Federalists were known for their opposition to the inclusion of the Bill of Rights, as they argued that the Constitution applied only to the government and not states or people. Thus, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay penned the Federalist Papers, which defended the party’s push for a stronger national government that would unite all of the states. The Federalists eventually conceded to including the Bill of Rights in the Constitution.
