Aussie Car Rebirthing Scam Busted, Faisal Soueid Sold Wrecked Cars From Salvage Yards Repaired With Stolen Parts, Sold Cars Online.

AUSSIE BODY SHOP OWNER labelled the mastermind of an online car rebirthing racket (rebuilding wrecked/salvaged vehicles from auto auctions with stolen parts, same used car scam is run in Tampa Fl) faced court yesterday accused of selling a stolen car to an undercover policeman.

Faisal Soueid, 36, of Chester Hill faced Parramatta Bail Court yesterday charged with eight counts including knowingly facilitating vehicle re-birthing activity and knowingly participating in an organised criminal group.

Police allege Soueid had sold 400 repaired car wrecks over the internet on www.carsales.com.au in the past 11 years. However when an undercover policeman allegedly paid Soueid $22,000 for a Subaru Liberty that had been stolen just 400m from the panelbeater's repair shop, the game began to unravel (this scam is also run on eBay Motors).

The court was told police from Strike Force Deeble began investigating Soueid and family members in July 2008 after the RTA raised concerns about his Chester Hill business.

According to facts presented, Soueid and his associates allegedly purchased wrecked cars from salvage auctions, which then allegedly were repaired with stolen parts and sold by way of the internet site www.
carsales.com.au.(scam also run on eBay Motors)

What is vehicle rebirthing? Vehicle rebirthing is the name given when a
stolen vehicle is given a new identity, usually by changing its identification numbers and serial numbers. As the identity of a stolen car is a problem for thieves when trying to resell a vehicle, they replace the car's identity with that of a wrecked vehicle. By doing this, it can be claimed that the vehicle was repaired to a roadworthy condition. Vehicle rebirthing can also include vehicles that are being imported for reassembly or using the identities of imported vehicles.

Isn't vehicle rebirthing a relatively 'victimless' crime with only insurance companies suffering? Direct victims of rebirthing include the original owner of the stolen vehicle and the person buying the rebirthed vehicle. An increase in theft of motor vehicles also leads to increases in insurance premiums for all motorists. Vehicle rebirthing is usually conducted by organised crime syndicates. These same syndicates are often involved in other criminal activities which impact on the community, including
money laundering, firearms and drug trafficking and violence and support of terrorism.

Police allege the panelbeater used a web of fake car parts receipts and owners' log books to hoodwink RTA inspectors and potential buyers. The log books allegedly were filled out in his name and buyers were told the cars had never been in accidents. But Soueid's luck ran out when he sold an allegedly rebirthed Subaru Liberty to strike force police on January 22.

The car sale and the trail of repairs provided an intricate insight into the methods of car-rebirthing. According to a statement of facts, the Liberty was stolen from a street just 400m from Soueid's panel shop on February 13, 2008.

Stripped of parts, the car was recovered and then written off by insurers Western QBE, before the chassis was bought by Soueid at auction. The car was then sold to an undercover officer for $22,000 on January 7, before a forensic examination revealed it had been refitted with original parts

Terror Cell Leader Abdul Nacer Benbrika Sentenced to 12 years, Benbrika Ran a Stolen Car Racket "Rebirthing Stolen Cars" to buy weapons and explosives

Article from: HERALD SUN.... THE leader of a home-grown terror cell that wanted to blow up the MCG has been jailed along with his followers. Homegrown terror cell leader Abdul Nacer Benbrika has been jailed for a minimum of 12 years under Commonwealth legislation, with a maximum of 15 years, and Aimen has received seven-and-a-half years.

The five other men found guilty on terrorist charges last year received a range of minimum sentences. The criminality of the terrorist cell would have been greater had a witness been more believable, a judge said before the sentences were handed down.

Justice Bernard Bongiorno told a packed Victorian Supreme Court that the seven men considered violent jihad an integral part of their religious obligations, often referring to themselves as mujahidin and talked about destroying buildings and killing infidels.

The group's aim was to pressure the Australian government to withdraw troops from Iraq, he said. Their trial heard the men had planned terrorist acts in Melbourne, including blowing up the MCG on grand final day and the Crown Casino.

Justice Bongiorno said evidence of a plot to blow up the MCG would not be taken into account because the man who gave it could not be believed. He said Izzydeen Atik - who pleaded guilty to his terrorism-related charges - was a liar and a fraudster of significant accomplishment.

"It is unlikely the jury accepted him as a witness of truth and indeed the court will not," Justice Bongiorno said. "Had Atik's evidence on the proposed targets been accepted, their criminality would have been significantly greater."It is not to say that their criminality is to be regarded as trivial."

"The group may have indeed only have been an embryonic terrorist organisation ... but the organisation fostered and encouraged its members to engage in violent jihad and to perform a terrorist act."He said terrorist acts in modern times were carried out by unskilled fanatics like Benbrika.

Justice Bongiorno said Benbrika, a father of seven, had not renounced his beliefs. "All the evidence points to the conclusion that he maintains his position with respect to violent jihad," he said.

Justice Bongiorno said there was a need to protect society from criminals such as Benbrika.

The court heard Benbrika, a former aircraft engineer, migrated to Australia from Algeria in 1989.

Also jailed were Benbrika's followers:
Aimen, 24, seven-and-a-half years;
Fadl Sayadi, 28, six years;
Ezzit Raad, 26, five-years-and-nine-months;
Ahmed, 24, seven-and-a-half-years;
Abdulla Merhi, 23, four-and-a-half years.
Amer Haddara, 29, four-and-a-half.
(All sentences listed are the non-parole periods.)

He said terrorism was defined in legislation as the use of violence or the threat of violence to advance a political or ideological cause.Justice Bongiorno said Benbrika was an admirer of Osama bin Laden, and possessed CDs showing unspeakable acts of cruelty against innocent victims by Muslim extremists. He said Benbrika called non-Muslims the "Kuffar", a derogatory term.

Justice Bongiorno said an undercover operative, known as SIO39, went with Benbrika to a bush location, where a test explosion was carried out. The fact that Benbrika showed nonchalance over the explosion and failed to take up an offer from SIO39 to procure explosives could have been a result of his knowledge he was probably under surveillance by authorities.

"Benbrika was cautious with SIO 39, this was in complete contrast to his dealings with members of his own group," Justice Bongiorno said. The judge said in secretly recorded conversations Benbrika told another member of the group he wanted "to do something big".

The seven were members of a terrorist organisation which was encouraging and taking some steps to carry out an act but they had not obtained or chosen targets. It did however, Justice Bongiorno said, gather Jihadi material and use material such as videos of beheadings to desensitise its members to the use of violence.

In his Supreme Court sentence the judge said the group's spiritual leader, Abdul Nacer Benbrika, was a former Algerian aircraft engineer who came to Australia in 1989 because he felt there were problems in following his hardline religious views in his own country.

Benbrika saw Australia as a land at war, and the judge said he was seen in the Muslim community as a learned man, but also as holding harsh religious views. Benbrika was often in conflict with other Muslim organisations in Melbourne and was excluded from the Preston mosque.

According to the Crown, the judge said, Benbrika saw Aimen as his "heir apparent' and if the Sheik went to jail Benbrika said he should "keep things going" Aimen undoubtedly took a leadership role and was instrumental in raising money for the group from rebirthing stolen cars.

But the judge said he could not find beyond reasonable doubt that the proceeds from the stolen car racket would have been used to buy weapons. However the money in the group's "sandooq" was to be used to further its terrorist aims.

Their marathon six-month trial heard that potential targets included the 2005 AFL Grand Final at the MCG, railways stations and other public places where they knew large numbers of innocent people would gather. Four other men who faced trial were acquitted and one faces a retrial. In a secretly recorded conversation between the group’s spiritual leader Benbrika and one of his followers, Abdullah Merhi, Benbrika said they were not talking about "one or two or three" deaths. Merhi asked Benbrika "like Spain?"

Prosecutor Richard Maidment SC told the jury this was a reference to the terrorist attacks on Spanish trains in 2004 where 191 people were killed and 2000 were injured. In another conversation Merhi asked Benbrika if killing their innocent victims would be pleasing to Allah. "You are pleasing the Almighty," Benbrika replied. Benbrika gave them permission to kill women, children and the elderly in pursuit of violent jihad.

The sentences handed down were: Abdul Nacer Benbrika, 48, of Dallas: Guilty of intentionally being a member of a terrorist organisation, knowing that it was a terrorist organisation Guilty of intentionally directing the activities of a terrorist organisation, knowing that it was a terrorist organization. Guilty of possessing a CD connected with the preparation of a terrorist act.

US Diplomat Brian Adkins found dead in Ethiopian Capital of ADDIS ABABA, Al-Shabaab Terrorists in Somalia Vowed to Kill Americans.

A GW alumnus, Brian Adkins, working for the US State Department was found dead in Ethiopia this week and U.S. government officials say his death is being investigated as a homicide.

Brian Adkins, who graduated in 2007, worked for the State Department as a Foreign Service officer stationed in Ethiopia's capital city, Addis Ababa.

Representatives from the State Department said Wednesday that Adkins died on Saturday, but would not give further details because it was an ongoing homicide investigation.

Adkins, who would have turned 26 on Feb. 2, completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at GW, graduating summa cum laude as an international affairs major from the Elliott School of International Affairs in 2005. He joined the State Department after receiving his master's degree in 2007 and was assigned to Ethiopia.

Tuesday, January 20, 2009, U.S. Probes Potential Obama Inauguration Threat From Al-Shabaab Terror Group Who Run a Website out of Vancouver WA. Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia have vowed to kill what they called the Jewish and American collaborators, Al-Shabaab terrorists have been fighting the Ethiopian troops in Somalia and have recently ran them out of the Country, Al-Shabaab terrorists in Ethiopia assassinating a US Diplomat, not a surprise.

Al-Shabaab terrorist caused an international incident when they threatened to attack the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. Thursday, October 30, 2008, 5 Suicide Bomb Attacks Hit Somalia, Al-Shabaab sent 30 bombers to Hargeisa on Oct. 17, 5 Stolen Land Cruisers car bombs to kill Jew & US collaborators

After studying the indigenous language and culture for nearly a year, Adkins moved to Ethiopia as part of a Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship.
John Wysham, head of the Ethiopia desk at the State Department, said he was unable to provide details about Adkins' death or the homicide investigation.
"The trouble here is that it is a crime scene we are talking about," Wysham said. "It wasn't like he fell off a rock and hit his head."

Wysham said that he has been in contact with the Ethiopian embassy and Ethopian police forces about the ongoing investigation. A Foreign Service officer also stationed in Africa is planning to accompany Adkins' body from Ethiopia to the United States, Wysham said. The casket will be transported by military aircraft.

Ginny Boncy, a member of the State Department's casualty assistance department, said Adkins was in the first year of his assignment and performing consular work for the State Department.Consular work typically includes providing services like assisting Americans in distress and handling visas and passports.

Though Adkins' father could not be reached for comment, senior Michael Geremia, one of Adkins' best friends, described the Ohio native as "selfless, hardworking, confident, funny, charming, articulate, a scholar and a gentleman."
"The world has lost someone who had so much to offer. I miss him tremendously," Geremia said. "When I received word of his death on Monday, which would have been his 26th birthday, a piece of me died in Ethiopia."

Geremia said that he last spoke to Adkins on Sunday, Jan. 25, when the two friends started to plan Adkins' summer vacation in D.C."He was so excited to be in Africa serving his country as a diplomat, promoting American values," Geremia said. "As much as he loved his career, he missed the U.S."

As a student in Foggy Bottom, Adkins was a leader at the Knights of Columbus and the Newman Center, two organizations devoted to the Catholic faith. He served as a trustee and held several officer positions with the Knights, including chancellor in charge of membership. After graduating, Adkins served as state ceremonial chairman and district warren for the Knights. In 2007, he was named Knight of the Year in D.C.

"He was friendly to everyone, incredibly devoted to his faith, and always willing to volunteer and give of himself," said senior Conrad Murphy, a former grand knight. "When he left for Ethiopia, we found that it took at least three of us just to fill his shoes." Friends and fellow members of the Knights of Columbus, including Murphy, said Adkins will be remembered as incredibly intelligent and always working to master a new language. He spoke French, Arabic and Amharic, the official working language of Ethiopia. Adkins was a native of Columbus, Ohio. A Rite of Christian Burial is planned in his honor at St. Mary's Church in his hometown.

Former Marianna Dozier School For Boys Inmates File Lawsuit Against "One Armed Man Troy Tidwell" and The Florida Department of Agriculture Et Al.

WMBB ABC NEWS TV-13 PANAMA CITY FLORIDA... Former Dozier Inmates File Lawsuit 02/02/09 A Marianna man, Troy Tidwell, is the only individual listed in a class-action suit that alleges he and several state entities are responsible for alleged abuse at the Florida Industrial School for Boys Marianna FL.

The class action suit, filed by Bryant Middleton, William Horne, Roger Kiser and Jimmy Jackson (The White House Boys), lists the defendants as the Florida Department of Agriculture, the Florida Department of Children and Family Services, the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, the Florida Department of Corrections, and Troy Tidwell of Marianna.

Tidwell is being represented by the law office of Frank Bondurant and Matthew Fuqua of Marianna. The suit was filed Jan. 22 in Pinellas County. The abuse was alleged to have taken place in Jackson County, but the state entities named in the suit are based in Leon County — part of the basis for a motion for dismissal filed by Bondurant and Fuqua.

“It’s in the early stage of litigation and we’re not prepared to comment at this time. We don’t think Troy Tidwell has done anything wrong and the facts of the case will ultimately bear the proof,” Bondurant said Friday.

Late last year, a group of men who call themselves the White House Boys made allegations of abuse — and possibly murder — which they allege took place in the 1950s and 1960s at the reform school now known as Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys.

Since the group has come forward, the state Department of Juvenile Justice placed a plaque acknowledging the abuse on the school grounds, where the bulk of the abuse allegedly took place, in a building known as the White House. Subsequently, Gov. Charlie Crist ordered a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation into the allegations, and the contents of unnamed graves near the school’s grounds.

The one-armed man; Hundreds of former residents of the school have come forward with similar stories, many of them alleging that Tidwell was one of a handful school employees who committed the abuses.

In several interviews with the Floridan, several former residents who are not part of the suit describe being severely beaten under cover of night by a one-armed man, allegedly Troy Tidwell. They claim Tidwell would turn on a fan to muffle the sounds made during the whippings. A phone number listed for Tidwell is no longer in service.

In December 2008, Tidwell declined to speak with CNN, but he was recently quoted in the Miami Herald saying the boys were “spanked” but not injured. “Kids that were chronic cases, getting in trouble all the time, running away and what have you, they used that as a last resort,” Tidwell told the Herald. “We would take them to a little building near the dining room and spank the boys there when we felt it was necessary.”

Bill Davidson of Sneads believes punishment went beyond spanking at the Florida School for Boys. “People are saying it was typical punishment for that day and time? I was a kid back then and I can tell you what happened at that place was well beyond punishment. It was abuse. It was abuse. They pure beat the hell out of them,” Davidson said. “I remember bringing it up. I asked him to show me his scars again. He was marked for life. Scars criss-crossed his backside and the backs of his legs. When I asked him questions, he’d tell me not to ask no more,” Davidson said. “He’d turn his head and cry. Makes me glad I was a POW in Vietnam and not a boy at the Marianna school.”

“When I read about this in the paper, I started to cry again. But I’m glad these men are brave to come out about it,” Davidson said. “I ain’t getting no money to talk about this. I just think what happened was wrong and I want everyone to know. I cry over it. No human being should be beat like that ... Lord, I wouldn’t even beat an animal like that. I’d take a gun and shoot it before I beat it like that.”

Interviews continue; Meanwhile, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement continues to investigate allegations similar to Davidson’s. A FDLE representative said Friday that investigators are still in the process of talking to individuals and reviewing records. She could not say how many interviews had been conducted. But she said that the amount of time that has passed since the alleged abuse took place, combined with the fact that the school has changed hands several times, means investigators have a lot of work at hand.

5). The Invisible Empire: The Ku Klux Klan in Florida As late as 1952, a Grand Dragon (state president) spoke to the Florida Sheriff’s Association where he received applause for condemning an assassinated civil rights worker as a troublemaker. Only in the 1970s did Klansmen have trouble keeping their jobs in law enforcement, a reversal of fortune best symbolized by the defeat of the Klan sheriff of Lake County, Willis McCall, for reelection after beating a black prisoner to death in 1972.

In 1901, the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture inaugurated a rule requiring prospective guards to sign an application under oath for appointment as state guards. The lessee, the Florida Supervisor of Convicts and the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture all had to approve each employment application. All sub-lessees were required to investigate references and determine the character of guard applicants. Pay for guards remained low, but the application process improved the type of men hired.

No legislation addressed the steadily increasing reports of prisoner beatings and other abuse in the convict camps. A convict named Hughes was severely beaten and then released from a camp at Holder. One week later he died. A coroner's jury found that the man had been ill with tuberculosis and could not work. Guards ordered Hughes to complete his assigned tasks or suffer discipline. The jury found that Hughes died of tuberculosis, but little doubt existed that the severe beatings hastened his death.

Another incident of brutality happened in a turpentine camp near Ocala. It garnered considerable notice, even in other states' press. Eleven young men visited Florida on a hunting trip. The Alachua County Sheriff arrested them as vagrants after they had been in the state about ten days, and the court sentenced them to serve thirty days on the county convict farm.

The men were eventually able to present their case to Judge Hooker in Alachua. They appeared before him "faint from hunger and with back bloody from repeated lashing." The Florida Times Union reported that the men received such barbarous treatment that some of them might die. "They were chained to negroes and ordered to do tasks which were impossible." The reporter revealed that stripped naked, the men were tied across logs, where a guard lashed them with raw hides until they bled. The end of the lash gashed their faces badly, and according to Judge Hooker, nearly tore Cumming's ear off.

Sixty-seven Jackson County residents donated $1,400 and 1200 acres of land near Marianna for the construction of the reform school. In 1899, two three-story brick dormitories were completed each designed to hold seventy-two children. One building housed white children and the other black children. The reform school opened on January 1, 1900, finally providing a separate place to incarcerate some of the children in the Florida prison system.

A 1903 report of a "Citizen's Committee" to the Florida Children's Commission however, charged
that the Boy's reform school was "nothing more than a prison." This committee found forty- four children imprisoned at the reform school in Marianna, including thirty-seven black males, five white males and two females. Committee members reported they "found them in irons, just as common criminals, which in the judgment of your committee, is not the meaning of a 'State Reform School' as defined by the law creating said school."

In its first five years of operation, the BOY'S school provided neither vocational nor academic education.
Children were "hired out" to work for people in the area FARMS, or they were compelled to cultivate the school's farm acreage and do maintenance work. The Marianna Times Courier explained that the Board of Managers of the school told their reporter "the Legislature has never provided money to pay a teacher."

The reformatory was meant to separate children convicted of a crime from the general prison population, but it is obvious in several Prison Reports that not all juvenile offenders were sent to the industrial school. A writer in the Tallahassee Weekly True Democrat reported that under a 1905 contract, the Board of Commissioners recently signed, "men, women and boys would be leased (WHO TOOK IN THE MONEY FROM THE LEASE ?).

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture McRae reported in 1920 that The Boys'
Industrial School at Marianna had an average attendance of "approximately three hundred
since it was established some twenty years ago, one-third of the boys were white and two-thirds were black." By 1920, the school operated two racially separate campuses. McRae expressed much concern with the quality of the executive supervision of the boys and girls schools. He asserted that the Governor and his cabinet, which also served as the Board of Commissioners, provide supervision. On June 30, 1930 the Boys Industrial School at Marianna reported a rapidly growing population and a high incidence of escapes.

According to the Committee report, boys held in this institution were aged ten to eighteen years . It criticized the practice of not separating older boys from younger, or inmates convicted of crimes from inmates merely dependent on the state.

The 1920s to 1930's was also a time of rising racism and nativism. In Florida, the extreme manifestation of those factors was the power of the Klu Klux Klan (Marianna Fl site of Negro Lynchings). Many individual racial incidents occurred, including public hangings (Marianna FL). Several times white mobs attacked black communities and burned them out. Black's homes burned in Perry, Rosewood, and Ocoee. Racism and nativism occurred nationally, not only in Florida.

The 32 graves behind the Dozier School for Boys are headed with crosses without names. The White House Boys believe that some of the graves contain the bodies of children beaten and/or abuse to the point of death (the "black boys got it the worst") during the reform school's 108 years of operation in racist and KKK linked Marianna Fl.

SEE MY PRIOR POST ON KKK LINKED MARIANNA FL, Thursday, December 25, 2008, 32 BLACK BOYS BURIED BEHIND "WHITE HOUSE" AT DOZIER SCHOOL IN RACIST MARIANNA FL, BEATEN BY GUARDS LIKE TROY TIDWELL, MARIANNA SITE OF NEAL LYNCHING.
CHILD RAPE, TORTURE AND MURDER OF THE "BLACK BOYS"
AT THE DOZIER SCHOOL FOR BOYS, MARIANNA FL, LATE 1950's TO LATE 1960's THE "BLACK BOYS GOT IT THE WORSE".
From information obtained during recent phone interviews with former child inmates at the Dozier School for Boys, (who were beaten in the school at the hands of men like guard Troy Tidwell), it appears that there is a much deeper, darker racist aspect to this already horrific, barbaric tale of child torture and murder in racist Marianna Fl...
"Niggers" in 1930's and in the schools in 2008....October 2, 2008, Marianna teacher ‘told students that ‘CHANGE’ stood for’ NIGGER...

Much of the prior stories can be read at thewhitehouseboys.blogspot.com. The site details many abuses and alleged deaths that occurred at the reform school by the White House Boys. An account of the act of flogging, a punishment that was outlawed in the state of Florida for men in 1922, exposes the unusually cruel practice being used on boys and young men at the White House until 1967.
Crowd attending a KKK rally - Tallahassee, Florida
A veritable torture chamber, being taken to the White House was to be feared because some did not return. What could get a boy sent to the White House? Talking to a black inmate, saying the wrong thing, or having the wrong facial expression at the wrong time could get one sent to the White House building, which contained two rooms where the beatings and abuses took place.
March of the Ku Klux Klan - Tallahassee, Florida
One room was for black inmates, the other for whites. There will be some who will scoff at the governor's request that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigate who is buried on what once was Dozier property. Chances are any perpetrators are dead or very old and in an era of tight state resources, some would say FDLE should be focused on more recent crimes.
But a full accounting of what occurred at Dozier is as important as reopening the investigations of the Rosewood massacre, lynchings and the slaying of civil rights-era activists in Florida.
Dozier School for Boys guard, Troy Elmer Tidwell was 10 years old and living in Marianna Fl when Claude Neal (Mr. Neal appears to have been innocent of any crimes and was hung and mutilated just for being "black") was lynched in Marianna by the "Lynch Committee of Six," , "Men, women, and children were numbered in the vast throng that came to witness the lynching.
It is reported from reliable sources that the little children, some of them mere tots, who lived in the Greenwood neighborhood, waited with sharpened sticks for the return of Neal's body and that when it rolled in the dust on the road that awful night these little children drove their weapons deep into the flesh of the dead man". Claude Neal's body was hung to a tree on the northeast corner of the Marianna courthouse square and left hanging for over 24 hours.
ACTUAL NEWSPAPER NOTICE..NEGRO LYNCHING..Macon (Georgia) Telegraph, and in the Marianna Daily Times-Courier October 26, 1934. "Big Preparation Made for Lynching Tonight".GREENWOOD, Fla., Oct. 26—Local citizens have been preparing all day for the lynching of a negro scheduled to take place here tonight. This morning a mob seized Claude Neal, 23, from a jail in Brewton, Ala., where he had been held in connection with the murder of white girl which took place here several days ago. At noon a “Committee of Six” representing the mob announced a timetable for the lynching which was given in newspapers and over the radio as follows:
At sundown the negro will be taken to the farm two miles from here where Miss Lola Cannidy, the murder victim, lived. There he will be mutilated by the girl’s father. Then he will be brought to a pig-pen in the middle of a cotton field nearby, where the girl’s body was found, and killed. Finally his body will be brought to Marianna, the county seat, nine miles from here, and hung in the court house square for all to see. The negro is presently being held at an undisclosed location in a swamp along the Chattahoochee River, not far from the Cannidy farm. “All white folks are invited to the party,” said the announcement issued by the mob’s Committee of Six. (See notation of the "timetable" published in the Marianna Daily Times-Courier, before the murder of Clude Neal) As a result, thousands of citizens have been congregating all afternoon at the Cannidy farm. Bonfires have been started, piles of sharp sticks have prepared (FOR THE CHILDREN), knives have been sharpened and one woman has displayed a curry-comb with which she promises to torture the negro.
Confronting its past will help Florida build a better future for all its citizens. And if you don't think that youngsters in state custody still face threats, remember Martin Lee Anderson, the young inmate who died after a confrontation with guards in a Panama City boot camp in 2006. As longtime Florida children's advocate Jack Levine notes, the question of whether children in the juvenile justice system are as vulnerable today as they were at the height of Dozier's horrors remains a relevant one.

The young inmates in Florida's
juvenile justice facilities - while tough and dangerous in many cases - remain vulnerable to abuse and neglect. Even after decades of improvements, the juvenile justice system lacks the resources to deal with all the youngsters it must oversee. The bone-chilling history of Florida's treatment of young offenders is well-documented in the 1983 class-action civil rights lawsuit, known as the Bobby M. case. The case, brought on behalf children who were mistreated in the state's juvenile justice facilities, including Dozier, ushered in a new era of reform.

At Dozier, the atrocities documented included the actions of the "dog boys," a group of guards who used attack dogs on the boys. Louis de la Parte, the crusading former state senator from Tampa who recently passed away, personally saw the blood-splattered "White House" building where vicious beatings occurred. That history was revisited recently when four men who had been inmates at Dozier met on the Internet and formed the White House Boys - a group devoted to bringing attention to the brutal history of the place. One of those men, Dick Colon, says he saw the body of a boy who had been forced into a large industrial clothes dryer by a guard. Others told of seeing boys who had gotten in trouble being led away and never seen again.

Claudia Wright, who had been an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union on the Bobby M. case, has heard rumors that the Dozier graves contain the bodies of children killed at the hands of their captors. While no evidence surfaced in that probe, Wright said the oppressive and brutal environment that existed at Dozier is no folk tale.

'770' Chabad-Lubavitch World HQ Brooklyn NY Targeted in Jihad Videos by Yousef al-Khattab who operates out of Queens NY

Arutz Sheva NEWS, Barely two months after a rabbi, his wife and four other Jews were brutually murdered in a Chabad House in Mumbai, India, the Chabad-Lubavitch World HQ at 770 E. Parkway Brooklyn has been targeted in a series of jihadist videos posted on the internet.

The internet postings were the work of terrorist Yousef al-Khattab (his photo above) of Queens NY, see prior post on this disgusting piece of filth who needs to be in jail, click here.

The English-language videos and posts singled out Orthodox Jews, and especially the Chabad-Lubavitch community in the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York, for attack.

The source of the thinly-veiled threats, a group called Revolution Muslim, is domestic to the United States, and the English-language threats are carefully tailored in an attempt to avoid breaking any American laws.

Nonetheless, the intent is clear, according to the Targeted Actionable Monitoring Center (TAM-C) of the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response (ITRR), a U.S. and Israel-based organization with offices in the United Kingdom as well.
'Do Not Let Orthodox Judaism Get Away With Murder in Ghaza'Headlining a propaganda video of a rally by a far-left organization were the words, “Do Not Let Orthodox Judaism Get Away From Murder in Ghaza [Gaza]."

Underneath the video was the statement, “Make EVERY attempt to reach these people and teach them the message of Islam or leave them a message from Islam (WHICH MEANS A BOMB).”

See my prior post on this terrorist, Friday, January 23, 2009, New york City Cabbie Yousef Al-Khattab Posts Threat to Jewish Temple "Do Not Let Orthodox Judaism Get Away From Murder in Ghaza" links to Samir Khan .

A subsequent video and accompanying text clarified the “message” the Islamist blogger had in mind and how to “reach these people.” The video first denies that any threats against Orthodox Jews were made on their website, but then switches to a montage of images of dead Arab children - apparently from Gaza - interspersed with repeated images of “770” – the Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters – and a blood-spattered Jewish prayer book from a terrorist attack in the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem. The video concludes with the sound of gunshots.

The text under the video adds the following P.S.: "NYPD - It was me (Yousef al-Khattab) that made the Chabad Islamic propagation (sic) post and appeal. Do have your search warrants in order. The gunshots at the end in NO WAY are meant for the NYPD (since they asked me about it).”

Other Locations Targeted As Wel; lThe videos followed the posting on the same jihadist site of photos of the Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters and its main synagogue, its address at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, and details of the times when the synagogue is filled with worshippers.

The third and final video in a series of three aiming at the Chabad-Lubavitch community is narrated entirely by Al-Khattab, who appears to either be completely exhausted, or possibly even under the influence of a sedating substance of some kind. He is leaning back, with his eyes almost completely closed, his voice drawling (Al-Khattab appears to be using drugs and/or possibly involved in the Queens NY drug trade, NYPD needs to investigate) .

He begins with what is apparently meant as disclaimer, saying his group is "not here to fight with Jewish people" and explaining that the bullet sounds are just a "sound wave" used for the videos.

The threats begin, however, a moment later: "An atrocity is done and an act of terrorist [sic] is done like what was done in Ghaza, when they indiscriminately bombed women and children, and just... I don't even know what to say... and we know where the source is, and the source is definitely 770 Eastern Parkway is one of those sources that funds it, and gives their spiritual support as well… and definitely Yeshiva University in Washington Heights, is another place that prepares students, religious Orthodox rabbinical Jewish students to be in the hesder yeshiva, which is the officer corps of the religious Jews, so yes, these are definitely the sources, and the Jewish Federation buildings, all over the United States, they fund it."

Al-Khattab continues: "In the eyes of the Muslim world... even the thinking Christian populace would agree -- that Israel is a war crime. We think it's imperative to bring to the forefront, hold these people responsible... find out who is the head of the Jewish Federation... give them the Islamic message (a bomb)... leave them the message of Islam. Let them know, that maybe they drew up those borders that they occupy, but our borders as Muslims are all over the place. Okay? That's not a threat, that's what it is, that's what it's gonna be.
"And wal-LAH hee, (Arabic for "truthfully" -ed.)

New York City Police Department, CIA and FBI, you can put me in jail for the rest of my life, as long as I got that information out there for people to know what to do, I did something," Al-Khattab asserts.

Risk Management is Key, Warns Security Group; Al-Khattab is listed as one of three top leaders of the Revolution Muslim group, headed by Sheikh Abdullah el-Faisal. Al-Khattab claims to be Jewish by birth, and has allegedly switched lifestyles numerous times. He presently is allegedly a cab driver in New York City.

According to TAM-C, lone-wolf terrorist attacks on Jewish assets and individuals are a growing phenomenon worldwide, running the gamut from vandalism to shootings and car bombings.

Gitmo Grads Names Climbing On Saudi Terror List Of 85, Al-Oufi And Al-Ghamdi Names Surface Again As On 9/11, Othman Al-Ghamdi is Saudi Used Car Dealer

RIYADH/MADINA – SAUDI ARABBIA LIST OF 85 TERROR SUSPECTS SAME OLD NAMES APPEAR, AGAIN...There have been no major attacks in Saudi Arabia since Feb 2006, when suicide bombers tried to attack an oil facility in Saudi Arabia.

But the name list of the most wanted 85 terror suspects has sent a signal of possible attacks about the backgrounds of those suspects on the list who have been called to turn themselves in to authorities and “return to a normal life.”

This report reveals the identities of some of the most wanted;
Othman Al-Ghamdi After his release from Guantanamo in 2006, the suspect resided in Bahah, south of Saudi Arabia, working as a car dealer before his disappearance. Al-Ghamdi is married and has one son. He is believed to have sneaked into a neighboring country along with Adnan Al-Sayegh, another terror suspect on the list (There were three al-Ghamdis who took part in the 9/11 Attacks).

Adnan Al-Sayegh Back from Guantanamo in 2006, Al-Sayegh went through the rehabilitation program of the Ministry of Interior. After completing the program, Al-Sayegh, 27, left Taif for Bahah with his wife and his five-month-old son to visit relatives and friends there Jan. 25, his brother Ramadan said. He stayed three days in Bahah after which he disappeared. His brothers-in-law tried to contact him, but he never answered their calls. Adnan went to Afghanistan with a relief team in 2000 where he was later arrested and sent to Guantanamo. Al-Sayegh is married to the sister of a Guantanamo returnee, Othman Al-Ghamdi who is believed to have run away with Al-Sayegh.

Saeed Al-Shihri The suspect, released from Guantanamo in 2007, was arrested in a hospital in Pakistan after suffering injuries in his feet and right hand. He allegedly traveled to Afghanistan two weeks after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, provided money to other fighters and trained in urban warfare at a camp north of Kabul, Afghanistan, according to a summary of the evidence against him from US military review panels at Guantanamo Bay. He recently appeared in Al-Qaeda propaganda video along with suspect Muhammad Al-Oufi.

Muhammad Al-Oufi Prisoner number 333 at Guantanamo who was released in 2007, Al-Oufi appeared in a recent Al-Qaeda propaganda video posted on a militant-leaning website Jan. 23 as a field commander. Before his release from Guantanamo, Al-Oufi said he had only wanted to help refugees and was not a fighter. According to AP, his biography said he had fought in Afghanistan, Chechnya, and Kashmir before he was captured, and narrowly escaped death when “an American rocket” hit a house in Afghanistan where he and 13 other fighters were sleeping. Al-Oufi was the only survivor and “was not hit by even one piece of shrapnel.”

AL-QAEDA USED CAR DEALER JEDDAH-MEDINA WAS SALEH
AL-OUFI
(aka SALEH AL-AUFI now dead), HEAD OF AL-QAEDA IN SAUDI ARABIA. AL-OUFI HAD BEEN A USED CAR DEALER IN THE JEDDAH/MADINAH AREA SINCE 1994. AL-OUFI MET WITH BIN-LADEN BEFORE 9/11, HE ALSO SENT SUICIDE CAR BOMBERS TO ABU AL-ZARQAWI IN SOUTHERN IRAQ.In a audio message (March 17th 2005), Al-Oufi is swearing allegiance to al-Zarqawi, states that: “our necks are for you” and pledges to “send you the fighters and the ‘suiciders’ whenever you need". Al-Oufi, his biography said he had fought in Afghanistan, Chechnya, and Kashmir same as Muhammad Al-Oufi as seen above.

Majid Moqed Al-Oufi, the cousin of Saleh Al-Oufi, was one of the 9/11 Hijackers and had worked at the Madinah used car lot, "In 1994 Al-Oufi opened a car showroom in Madinah (cars imported to Port of Jeddah) whose proceeds enabled him to travel to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Germany (Hamburg), and other countries, using his business as a cover-up for terrorist activities". Al-Oufi was in charge of the attack on the US Consulate In Jeddah SA on 12/06/04.

Muhammad Al-Shihri After his release from Guantanamo, Al-Shihri returned to his terror ideology and practice following the path of his brother Saad Al-Shihri who was on the most wanted list of the 36 suspected militants published in 2005.

Jaber Al-Faifi He was released in February 2007 from Guantanamo. The suspect, 33, holds an elementary school diploma. He traveled to Pakistan and was said to have met with Al-Qaeda members while in Tora Bora. He was arrested and sent to Guantanamo. His family declined to talk about his life.

Murtadi Muqrim The suspect, a Guantanamo returnee in 2007, told his family last October that he would go to Madina for a few days and come back. But he has never made it back home, severing all communications with his family that immediately reported him to the Ministry of Interior, his brother Muhammad said. After his release from Guantanamo, Muqrim spent a few months at Haer Prison in Riyadh after which the government started to give him a free monthly income of SR3,000 to support him. Muqrim used to work at the Saudi Electricity Company in Riyadh before he went to Afghanistan with a group of friends; two of them were killed there, his brother said. His father passed away before his return from Guantanamo Bay prison.

Other suspects;
Abdulmohsin Al-Sharikh The suspect is the brother of two 2007 Guantanamo returnees; Abdulhadi and Abdulrazzaq Al-Sharikh.

Abdullah Al-Juwair The suspect followed the path of his brother Fahd Al-Juwair who was killed along with other four terror suspects during military confrontation with security forces at a rest house in Al-Yarmouk District in Riyadh. They were killed just a day after their attempt to blow up an oil facility in Abqaiq was foiled. Four militants and two guards killed. Fahd Al-Juwair was on the most wanted list of the 36 suspected militants.

Ahmad Al-Shiha Listed sixth on the new list, the suspect left his family house two-and-a-half years ago to study abroad but he has never made it back, his father Saleh said. He was a full time student of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University where he studied Islamic Shariah for only one semester and suddenly disappeared, the father said. “We did not notice any changes on him…he used to pray on time and visit his relatives,” his father said. Mother said she never saw him using the Internet at home.

Aqil Al-Mutairi The suspect, 31, left his hometown Al-Bikairiyah in the central region of the Kingdom for Iraq some three years ago. The last time he called his family was about five months ago, his brother Khaled said. Before his sudden trip to Iraq, he was working at a private company. “If we had known that he would go to Iraq, we would have reported him to the authorities,” his brother said. The family did not notice any change in his attitude or behavior before he left, the brother said, wishing that he would return home safe soon.

Faiz Al-Harbi Five months ago, the suspect, 27, left his home in Briman District in Jeddah. He has never called his family since then. He completed high school in Jeddah after which he joined a Qur’an memorization school, his mother said. Last September he told his mother that he was going to seek Islamic education outside the Kingdom, but he did not say where. – Okaz/SG
