Pro-Israel Rally Draws More Than 1,200 In Sarasota, rally for supporters of Israel's "Right to Self Defense" with speaker John Loftus.

About 1,200 people attended the meeting at Temple Beth Sholom in Sarasota for supporters of Israel's "Right to Self Defense". The Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation rally was supposed to highlight a small, discussion of Israeli security issues by intelligence expert John Loftus.

In the aftermath of Israel's ongoing military response to years of random bombing by terrorists in Gaza, however, the event became a rally for supporters of Israel's "Right to Self Defense."The title of the event was carefully chosen to reflect the sensitivity of federation leaders toward any perception of Israel as the aggressor in the conflict that has claimed the lives of more than 500 Palestinians and injured thousands.

"This is a not a celebration of anything," said Howard Tevlowitz, federation executive director and the person responsible for the last-minute change in the program.

To Tevlowitz & associate director Martin Haberer, the retaliatory nature of Israel's recent actions has been lost in some of the international attention to the bombings and ground war have created in Gaza.

"The tendency is to see poor, downtrodden Palestine and big muscular Israel beating them down," said Haberer. Haberer, who joined the local group from Detroit a year later, acknowledges Israel's "public relations problem." He says the notion of Israel as bully has been skillfully manipulated by Arab politicians and the media.

The Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation reorganized its scheduled event in six days, generating what was expected to be the largest crowd it has ever drawn with e-mailings to about 17,000 Jewish residents of the two counties, a more than threefold increase since the organization's founding in 1959.

The federation, which raises some $6 million a year, half of which goes to local charities, celebrates its 50th anniversary next month. Organizers point out their membership is not exclusively Jewish, nor even their featured speakers. Loftus, former volunteer president of the Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg, is an Irish Catholic.

A police cruiser rolled over after a pursuit early Monday along U.S. 301, where officials say Qabeqba smoked crack and taunted officers before he sped off in his van.

A 24-year-old man from Morocco, Hamza Qabeqba, started the chase by driving backward in front of a convenience store on Lime Avenue at 1:30 a.m.

A Sarasota police officer was about to walk into the 7-Eleven store when he saw Qabeqba driving wildly and ordered him out of the gray Plymouth van at gunpoint.

Police say Qabeqba told the officer, "I will run you over," turned up the stereo in the van, and hit the gas, sending the officer diving for cover as he peeled out. Other officers arrived, and Qabeqba swerved around two blockades as the chase turned south on U.S. 301.,

He rammed two parked cruisers, smashing one so violently that it flipped. Luckily, no one was in the vehicle. An officer ended the chase near the intersection of U.S. 41 by tapping the van with his car to send it spinning. Qabeqba, charged with almost half a dozen felonies, SEE Below, is being held without bail in the Sarasota County jail.

Bikini teacher arrested for harassing calls, Tiffany Shepherd claims she was set up by ex-boyfriend stalker, who she has a restraining order on !

Former Port St. Lucie High School teacher, Tiffany Shepherd who gained national attention claiming she lost her job because of her moonlighting gig as a bikini-clad worker on a charter fishing boat, spent Sunday night, 12/28/08, in the St. Lucie County Jail after being arrested for allegedly threatening her 'former boyfriend’s" new girlfriend.

From a phone interview today, 1/04/09, with Tiffany Shepherd and examining Criminal Court Records in Okeechobee County Fl, Broward County Fl, Brevard County Fl and the Fort Pierce Fl Police reports it is obvious that Tiffany Shepherd (and other females) have had serious problems with this "ex-boyfriend" since at least 2000.

There are restraining orders, multiple domestic violence complaints, repeat violence reports, and battery reports on this "ex-boyfriend" filed by Tiffany Shepherd and other females, which the Media in West Palm Beach and elsewhere did not bother to investigate or report on, Tiffany Shepherd is a victim here.

Tiffany Shepherd, 30, was released from the jail about 5 p.m. Monday after posting $1,500 on her $15,000 bail. According to a Fort Pierce Police Department report, Shepherd was arrested Sunday 12/28/2008, on a warrant claiming that in late November, (11/30/2008), she left several text and voice mail messages on the cell phone of a 22-year-old woman now dating and living with the father of one of Shepherd’s children, the "ex-boyfriend".

Shepherd reportedly challenged the woman to a fight. According to the report, Tiffany Shepherd has a restraining order against her "former boyfriend" (as does at least one other female).

What is a restraining order? A Restraining Order is a court order intended to protect you from further harm from someone who has hurt you; to keep the abuser away from you, or to stop harassing you, or keep the abuser from the scene of the violence, which may include your home, place of work, or apartment.

Tiffany Shepherd told the investigating Okeechobee County Sheriff's Deputy that she had a restraining order on this "ex-boyfriend" and he was now using the 22 year old girlfriend to call her (Tiffany) and harass her.

Tiffany's version is the 22 year old new girlfriend left a message on her phone (Tiffany's) that "she was gong to kick my ass", Tiffany responded with a voice message that if this girl was intent on "beating my ass" I will be at Cxxxxxs at 7:00 pm.

Tiffany further states that in an interview with Channel 12 TV News, the text messages she sent on her phone was shown on camera with the so-called threats to the 22 year old girlfriend (tame to say the least), so why was she arrested in this "she said-she said" dispute ?

Tiffany Shepherd, who was listed as unemployed and living in Okeechobee on the arrest report, worked for four years as a science teacher in the St. Lucie County School District before she was told in May/2008 she would not be renewed for the next school year.

In local and national media, Shepherd claimed she was dismissed because of a part-time job serving drinks and food & casting lines for guests aboard Smokin’ Em Charters, which offered trips with bikini-clad and topless women, website click here.
Tiffany did several TV interviews about her claim and turned down a lucrative offer from Playboy Mag because it could hurt her chances of getting another teaching job.

Tiffany Shepherd confirmed this today Sunday 1/04/08 when I interviewed her, were talking thousands of dollars here $$$$ that she passed up from Playboy.

As news of the Fort Pierce Boat charters and Shepherd's bikini photos rocketed through the local media, the big-time inquiries started pouring in, including a reported offer of $25,000 per photo to be in Playboy magazine, she said no.

Shepherd, a mother of three boys, said in late October/2008 she had applied for teaching jobs in Martin, Osceola and Okeechobee counties to no avail.

Something very wrong with all of this, the "ex-boyfriend" leaves a paper trail of criminal complaints (from various women) all along the East Coast of Florida, he appears to use a "new girlfriend", who is 22 years old, to continue to harass Tiffany Shepherd via phone messages and Myspace postings to avoid being arrested, as Tiffany has a restraining order in force on him and somehow in all of this Tiffany Shepherd is arrested, forced to come up with cash to cover the $1,500 bail bond, is confined to home and has to wear a court ordered GPS on her ankle.

Tiffany Shepherd has no criminal history in Florida or in any other State in the USA, no one has obtained a restraining order on Tiffany Shepherd, the only mistake Tiffany Shepherd has made in her life is getting involved with this stalker of an "ex-boyfriend"!

I am well aware of the stalker mentality, I have handled numerous cases like this were a "jilted boyfriend" or a recently divorced male will do everything in his power to harass and intimidate his former female lover, it's always the same scenario, phone calls, text messages, all times of the day and night, damage to her vehicle, damage to her home and sometimes damage to her.

January 3rd 2009. For $28 a month, Ofer Nissan gets Israeli TV on DISH Network in his Sarasota Florida home (Click image to enlarge).

Since Israel is seven hours ahead, Nissan stays up late and watches live news reports on Channel 2 out of Tel Aviv.

He watches live rocket attacks launched from Gaza, including those on the Israeli town of Beersheva, 28 miles to the northeast, where his father lives. He also sees Israel's attacks on Gaza, some that have left the homes of civilians in rumble.

Nissan, a physical therapist who worked at Manatee Memorial Hospital for four years, often wakes his father with a morning phone call -- it's the next morning in Israel, but it's still the previous night in Sarasota -- if there is something urgent to report.

"I usually find out what is happening in Beersheva before he does," said Ofer Nissan, who may be among an estimated 200 Israeli-Americans living in Manatee and Sarasota counties. In this new digital age, when the planet's people have been stitched together by satellites, the Palestinians, who occupy the Gaza, and the Israelis, about 20 miles to the north, seem not able to see eye to eye.

There's a community event, expected to draw a large audience, called Rally For Israel's Self-Defense scheduled 7 p.m. Tuesday at Temple Beth Sholom, 1050 S. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is also heavily involved, launching an online petition drive on Dec. 31 to collect one million signatures urging American leaders to "speak in favor of peace and justice for all parties in the current humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Gaza Strip."

Like many locals, Nissan has strong opinions on the conflict. "The hatred between the two countries began several centuries ago as a fight over land," Nissan said. "Israel is the size of New Jersey, a country of 6.5 million and it's surrounded by 230 million Arabs and pretty much all of those countries would be happy not to have Israel where it is today."

The Herald called a handful of Muslim sources to get their thoughts on the crisis in Gaza, including Ahmed Bedier, Tampa executive director of The Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Samir Khatib, president of the Islamic Society of Bradenton and Sarasota.

Bedier's (he is no longer linked to CAIR as of May 2007 click here) phone was too full to take messages and Khatib did not return a call by deadline.
Nissan's wife, Orna, also an Israeli-American and an outreach coordinator at the Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation in Sarasota, is concerned about her parents, Naftali and Elizabeth Kenner, who live in the Israeli town of Ashklon, about 24 miles north of Gaza.

Her father, 71, is a Holocaust survivor who recently told her, "I am done running away."

Life in Israeli towns is difficult, as it is in Gaza. Arik Nissan, like many Israelis, has a concrete bomb shelter in his home. When he hears a siren in Beersheva, a city of 300,000, he has 60 seconds to get inside the shelter. He doesn't stray far from it.

Speaking on a mobile phone from Lebanon, he said: "I'm on the run and I am afraid I could be arrested and tortured, which is why I have gone into hiding. "The warrant says that I'm suspected of training people from the al-Qaeda Lebanon group to use weapons but these allegations are completely false (sure).

"The British government is co-operating with Lebanese military intelligence and I have become the bogeyman, a scapegoat for anything they wish to throw at me."
Police have launched several raids on al-Qaeda suspects in Lebanon.

Support for the terrorist network is most prevalent in Sunni strongholds in northern and southern Lebanon, particularly the area around Tripoli and Sunni villages along the border between Lebanon and Israel.

Bakri added that the Lebanese government had "no problem with me", but that he was in danger because of his stand against Hizbollah, the militant group that draws from Lebanon's Shia minority.

The extremist Muslim cleric was banned from returning to the UK when he fled his London home following the July 7 attacks. Bakri was a member of the radical extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain in the 1980s and early 1990s – and was dubbed "The Tottenham Ayatollah".

Bakri went on to become the founder of the al Muhajiroun extremist movement and caused outrage when he praised the terrorists behind the September 11 attacks in America. Asked if he condemned the disciples of Osama bin Laden, he said: "I condemn Tony Blair. I condemn George Bush. I would never condemn Osama bin Laden or any Muslims."

Bakri later blamed the Government and the British public for the 7/7 outrages which killed 52 people. The outbursts led to the revoke of an order allowing him indefinite leave to stay in the UK.

However he continued to preach to his followers using a website. In November, in a live broadcast transmitted on the internet to a south London community centre, Bakri urged Muslims to "raise the flag of Islam" over No 10 Downing Street.

Bakri, whose 27 year-old daughter Yasmin Fostok was unveiled as a nightclub dancer last year, said that he had agreed to stop using his website after a warning from the Lebanese authorities. He added that he was now "retired" from speaking out to Muslims against the West.

Bakri also alleged that his car and home had been bugged in recent months.
"I have found monitoring devices in my home and my car," he said. "Lebanese military intelligence told me that they had looked at me for six months but that the file was closed. But now there are these fresh allegations".

Scotland Yard and the Foreign Office denied any involvement. Lebanese authorities did not comment on Bakri's claims.

The three visiting statesmen at that historic conference were Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain, Premier Edouard Daladier of France, and Dictator Benito Mussolini of Italy.

But by all odds the dominating figure at Munich was the German host, Adolf Hitler.

Outlawed in many German districts, the National Socialist Party nevertheless climbed steadily in membership. Time-honored Tammany Hall methods of handing out many small favors were combined with rowdy terrorism and lurid, patriotic propaganda. The picture of a mystic, abstemious, charismatic Führer was assiduously cultivated (Same program and tactic used by Geert Wilders in 2008).

What Adolf Hitler & Co. did to the German people in that time left civilized men and women aghast. Civil rights and liberties have disappeared. Opposition to the Nazi regime has become tantamount to suicide or worse. Free speech and free assembly are anachronisms (Geert Wilders PPV party proposes bans on individual rights, freedom of religion and education).

The reputations of the once-vaunted German centres of learning have vanished. Education has been reduced to a National Socialist catechism. Germany's 700,000 Jews have been tortured physically, robbed of homes and properties, denied a chance to earn a living, chased off the streets. Now they are being held for "ransom," a gangster trick through the ages (Geert Wilders uses hatred towards Muslims in the exact same manner).

But not only Jews have suffered. Out of Germany has come a steady, ever-swelling stream of refugees, Jews and Gentiles, liberals and conservatives, Catholics as well as Protestants, who could stand Naziism no longer.

Geert Wilders (as he is the PPV) also wants to have Partial and permanent restrictions on freedom of expression, religion and education, (see below) and USA ultra right bloggers see Geert Wilders as their "Man of the Year " as per Jihad Watch by Robert Spencer and FrontPageMagazine.com by David Horowitz.

Geert Wilders revealed that if his Party for Freedom - which occupies nine of the Dutch parliament’s 150 seats - runs in European parliamentary elections, he may join Vlaams Belang (linked to Neo nazi groups) to form a larger right-wing bloc.

Wilders had previously said he would not consider such an alliance. Belgium’s Jewish leadership has boycotted Vlaams Belang, citing its “strong anti-Semitic characteristics.”

So why are far right consservative bloggers like Pamela Geller of "Atlas Shrugs" and Robert Spencer of "Jihad Watch", both staunch defenders of Israel and Jewish interests around the world and leaders of the Anti-Jihad crusade, hanging with Neo Nazi linked Geert Wilders ?

The following information was obtained from a Dutch Translation of the official designation of the policy of Geert Wilders and the PPV Party and what their plans are for when he becomes Dictator, also note he is the only one in the PPV to receive funds and he is the only one who votes;

'Party for Freedom (PVV) is a Dutch political party, The party comes from the Wilders Group, the former sole political group in the Second Chamber of the September 3, 2004 of the VVD divisional MP Geert Wilders.

On February 22, 2006 registered the Association of Wilders' Electoral Council in the Party for Freedom (PVV). The name for the Freedom Party recalls the name of the Party of Freedom, after the Second World War was founded in 1948 and rising in the VVD.

The Second Kamerverkiezingen 2006, the Party for the recognition as Wilders Group - Party for Freedom. After the elections, the party named by the Freedom Party. The Party for Freedom is abbreviated PVV.

The Party for Freedom has no membership. This is for the first time in history a party represented in the Dutch parliament that has no members. People can register as a donor and volunteer, but not as a member about the policy of the Party and can not vote.

Geert Wilders November 24, 2004 founded the "Group Wilders Foundation " with the purpose of expressing views and collecting money. Geert Wilders is the only board member of the foundation.

Because the electoral require that only organizations that can do as a party in an election, he on March 30, 2005, added the 'Association of Wilders'.

As an association must have two founders, this was done by the Foundation Group Wilders' with Wilders in private capacity. Wilders in the year 2007 is the only member of this association.

Critics, including former number two Bart Jan Spruyt, see the administration policy as autocratic action by Geert Wilders, who "does not want competitors"

Another reason that Geert Wilders is "on his own", is that the PVV would like the system of political parties to receive large subsidies, for example, those investing in his campaigns.

The main program of the Party for Freedom is the fight against the Islamicisation of the Netherlands. In addition, the party advocated lower taxes and less government intervention.

Furthermore, Wilders believes that certain fundamental rights, either temporarily or for good should be limited to protection of the Dutch national identity and security.
