How many guns does it take ’til we know? Just enough to know your safe and secure from guys like Ryan Flanzer!

How many guns does it take ’til we know? Just enough to know your safe and secure from guys like Ryan Flanzer! Sarasota Herald Tribune posts an Opinion Piece today about how limits should be placed on the number of firearms a 'law abiding' citizen should own. The article "By The Herald-Tribune Editorial Board" serves up as an example the unhinged rampage of Ryan Flanzer who shot up a condo in downtown Sarasota then held of cops at the Westin Hotel until he finally surrendered.
Tribune reported search of Flanzer's home and car turned up “a .50-caliber Desert Eagle handgun, an AK-47 pistol, five handguns, a shotgun and ammunition,” according to Trib reporter Carlos Munoz, as well as “tactical gloves and a backpack containing a hatchet and duct tape (KIDNAPPING MATERIAL).” One look at Ryan Flanzer's Facebook page and you get the impression that this guy is a little gun crazy pointing a firearm at the camera.
Trib continues with this gem, the Flanzer case illustrates how tortured such logic has always been concerning mental illness and guns. In the national debate over gun violence and safety, there are plenty more reasonable questions to ask than how mentally stable an individual must be to own a weapon. How about this one, for starters: How many guns does one individual need, for the purposes of self-defense or amusement, before being required to qualify for some kind of collector’s or dealer’s license? More than one for each hand?
Perhaps the bed-wetting liberals that make up The Herald-Tribune Editorial Board", who most likely never fired a gun in their life nor own one, would like to offer advice as to what the law abiding citizen should do when a "Ryan Flanzer" is shooting through your front door and trying to make access and do you harm, what now Trib? I own several firearms from a .25 caliber Beretta to a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson, so what? All my firearms were purchased through licensed gun dealers and I practice and qualify for advanced concealed carry licenses.
I own several firearms for an assortment of reasons, some for concealable carry reasons, some for firepower reasons, all for self protection from someone like a "Ryan Flanzer": According to officers, at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday May 5th, 2018 Ryan M. Flanzer, 25, arrived at 1350 Main St. wearing a tactical vest and a badge. He identified himself as a process server and was allowed entry to the third floor. Once on the third floor, Flanzer allegedly fired several rounds into the door of Apartment 305 and fled the scene. Perhaps the bed-wetting liberals that make up The Herald-Tribune Editorial Board" will offer some life saving advice as to what to do when you are the subject of a home invasion and the thugs are coming through the front door, do I cal 911 and wait, or do I pick up my .40 caliber Smith & Wesson and protect myself and my family.
UPDATE THURSDAY 4:00 PM, Another bed wetting liberal pipes up. USA Today hit for op-ed claiming it was ‘terrifying’ that Texas churchgoers were armed, Arizona Republic columnist Elvia Diaz found problems with the situation. “We know nothing about the at least six other parishioners who also appeared to draw their handgun… and that's terrifying,” Diaz wrote. OMG, "God please protect us from the bed wetting liberals, if they have it there way we will all end up dead".
