Yaser Said vanished, although there is no record of him flying to Egypt. The FBI believes Yaser Said may be driving a cab in New York City. A cab driver reported he may have seen Yaser Said driving a cab in Newark Airport. Yaser's brothers believed Yaser was justified to murder his daughters. Patricia's family believe Patricia should be charged as an accomplice to the murders. On December 4, 2014, Yaser Said was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

YASER SAID BIO & PROFILE: In Dallas County, Yaser Said was charged with felony “retaliation” after Tissie filed a complaint alleging he threatened to kill her and take the children after being indicted on December 17, 1998, for “sexual penetration” of both girls. But the charges were dropped on January 12, 1999, when Amina and Sarah recanted, saying they had lied about the abuse because they didn’t like their school. Yaser Said was not arrested for the alleged felony retaliation until March 22, 2001. That charge was also dismissed after Tissie refused to cooperate with prosecutors and Yaser Said agreed to take an anger-management course.

Yaser Said exerted dictatorial control over his American wife and children since marrying Tissie when she was 15. On February 7, 1987, Yaser married Tissie, sitting across aisle were Yaser’s brothers and a sister, Ghada Said, who had come to the United States in 1983 after their father in Egypt had divorced their mother, remarried and started another family. There is an open kidnapping warrant in Texas for Ghada Said who most likely is hiding out with Yaser in the New York City Muslim underground.
