Pezzola was a group member from Rochester, New York. A jury in Washington, D.C., found Tarrio guilty of seditious conspiracy after hearing from dozens of witnesses over more than three months in one of the most serious cases brought in the stunning attack that unfolded on Jan. 6, 2021, as the world watched on live TV, he is looking at 22 years in Federal prison.

UPDATE July 23, 2023, An Englewood man has been sentenced to 60 months in prison for his involvement in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. U.S. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth scheduled a sentencing hearing for May 23, 2023. The charge of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting, carries a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. But the Proud Boys were last year named a terrorist group in Canada, while The Base has previously been declared a terrorist group in Britain, Canada and Australia.

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - May 20, 2021. Proud Boy Daniel Scott aka 'Milkshake' formerly of Washington state arrested in Englewood Fl in May 2021, charged with assault following Jan. 6 Capitol breach. A man with western Washington ties has been arrested in connection to the Jan. 6 siege on the U.S. Capitol. Daniel Lyons Scott, 28, Arlington Washington, is charged with assaulting a federal officer, obstruction and knowingly engaging in acts of physical violence on restricted grounds, among other charges, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). He was arrested in Englewood Florida. Daniel Scott has previously lived in Tennessee and Florida, where he has a number of relatives. He was living in Arlington Washington as recently as last year and in 2019 was quoted in Everett Herald. About 440 people have been arrested on charges related to the Capitol breach, according to the DOJ. Several of those people are from western Washington, including Ethan Nordean of Auburn Washington, who federal prosecutors assert was “in charge” during the riot. Daniel Scott is the seventh person from Washington state to be charged with crimes connected to the Capitol riots.

According to court documents, Daniel Scott also known as “Milkshake", is a member of the Proud Boys group, which is a group that has been described as a “pro-Western fraternal organization for men who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world; aka Western Chauvinists.” Publicly available footage shows Daniel Scott in a black ballistic vest with goggles clipped to it, at the lower west terrace of the Capitol, according to the Department of Justice. This is where a large crowd was yelling at the United States Capitol Police officers.

The FBI and other federal officials have said the Proud Boys were among the primary instigators of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, naming another Washington man – Ethan Nordean of Auburn Washington – as a leader of the group. Ethan Nordean has been indicted and remains in federal custody. Ethan Nordean and three others, Joseph Biggs of Florida, Zachary Rehl of Pennsylvania and Charles Donohoe of North Carolina, are accused of being ringleaders in the Jan. 6 attack intended to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s presidential victory. The charges filed against Daniel Scott place him in proximity with Ethan Nordean on Jan. 6. They cite a Wall Street Journal video in which an off-screen speaker is heard saying, “Let’s take the Fucking Capitol.” According to the charges, “Another individual then approached the camera and says, ‘Let’s not fucking yell that, all right?’ ” Nordean is then seen walking past the camera, where he says: ‘It was Milkshake (Daniel Scott), man, you know fucking idiot.”

Ryan Samsel an accused January 6 insurrectionist who’s facing charges for allegedly attacking officer Caroline Edwards during the Capitol riot on Jan 6th has a history of “choking and beating women to the point of loss of consciousness,” according to federal prosecutors. Ryan Samsel, has alleged that Joseph Biggs pressured him to start pushing down the barricades. Caroline Edwards described seeing Joseph Biggs and Ryan Samsel talking right before the crowd approached the barricades. She said a few officers began holding onto the bike rack barriers to try to maintain them. “I felt the bike rack come on top of my head, and I was pushed backwards, and my foot caught the stair behind me, and my chin hit the handrail and at that point I had blacked out, but the back of my head clipped the concrete stairs behind me.” Ryan Samsel’s record of violent assault and domestic violence, dating back to 2006, was brought to light in court documents filed earlier this week as part of the government’s argument for why he should remain in jail pending the outcome of the trial.
