Just Say No To MS-13 Gang Members and Yes to Ban Sanctuary Cities in Fl.

Say No To MS-13 Gang Members and Yes to Ban Sanctuary Cities in Fl. Dealing with MS-13 is a complicated matter made more complicated by sanctuary cities. The Trump administration refers to MS-13 as "violent animals," and Mr. Trump often invokes MS-13's gruesome acts of violence to justify hardline policies against immigration. "This is a crisis. You have human trafficking, you have drugs, you have criminals coming in, you have gangs, MS-13. We're taking them out by the thousands and bringing 'em back," the president said. In 2017, there were close to 4,000 homicides in El Salvador, a nation of about 6 million people. Though that's down from over 6,600 killings in 2015, El Salvador home to MS-13 still has one of the highest murder rates in the world, do we want more of these MS-13 thugs in Florida?

WIMAUMA Fl - Is a Mexican enclave of undocumented immigrants with links to gangs like MS-13. "We're wearing our uniforms, they're wearing theirs," said Mike Fabyanic, a gang expert and Tampa-based special agent with Homeland Security Investigations. "We're going to have a conversation.". Those effects could be seen in east Hillsborough, where Fabyanic says the concentration of Hispanic gangs may be attributed to the area's growing Hispanic population. Affiliation with Hispanic gangs such as Sur-13, the NorteƱos and MS-13 often runs along family lines. The children of migrant workers also may join gangs, tempted by the camaraderie and easy spoils of theft and drug dealing, he said. He was wanted for charges in Maryland that include conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise; conspiracy to murder, maim, assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury in aid of racketeering; and attempted murder.
SARASOTA FL MS-13 aka SUR-13 BOSS TAKE DOWN SARASOTA FL..U.S. Attorney Robert E. O’Neill announces that U.S. District Judge James S. Moody, Jr. sentenced Basillio Alvardo (44, Wachula) to 35 years in federal prison for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime; and possession of a firearm and ammunition after having been convicted of a felony offense. Alvardo was found guilty on February 23, 2011, following a trial. According to court documents, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) initially arrested Alvardo on June 15, 2010, following a traffic stop on Bee Ridge Road.
An officer observed Alvardo’s vehicle, a Mitsubishi Gallant, had excessive window tint. Alvardo was the driver and sole occupant of the car. During the stop, an SCSO canine alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies searched the car and found more than 200 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .38 caliber revolver, and a digital scale. Alvardo later admitted to being a member of the Sur 13 gang (SX3). He also admitted to having fired the revolver earlier on June 15, 2010, because he thought someone might be following him and trying to steal his drugs. Subsequent investigation revealed that Alvardo was a convicted felon. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Southwest Florida Violent Crimes Task Force; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
WIMAUMA Fl - Take about a 15 min ride on Rte 301 northeast of the north Manatee County Fl line and you will end up in probably the most violent little town in all of Southwest Fl, Welcome to Gangland in Mexican SUR-13 Controlled Wimauma Fl. In what has to be the most disgusting crime ridden little town, Wimauma Fl is a place you do not want to venture day or night without a heavily armed SWAT team. Things are so bad in Wimauma Fl that just a couple of years ago the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office aided by 3 other agencies raided a targeted Mexican gang ridden neighborhood of 3 connecting streets and went door to door looking for violations and violators.
PENSACOLA FL. A member of the MS-13 gang wanted in connection with murder, attempted murder and extortion was arrested in Pensacola, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office. David Ernesto Nolasco Soriano, 31, of El Salvador, made a first appearance and had a detention hearing Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Pensacola. Nolasco Soriano was a fugitive who was located in Pensacola and arrested Wednesday afternoon near the Cordova Mall by the FBI and the Pensacola Police Department.

MIAMI —U.S. Border Patrol agents with Miami Sector's Special Investigations Group (SIG) located and arrested a Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member in Hollywood, Florida. U.S. Border Patrol agents received a call from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) requesting assistance in locating the gang member. South Florida-based Border Patrol agents performed surveillance and arrested the gang member in Hollywood last week. The individual had an active Interpol warrant for gang-related extortion out of El Salvador.

MANATEE — Thirteen reputed members of the SUR 13 criminal street gang have been charged with racketeering and related charges, culminating an 18-month investigation by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. The sheriff’s gang unit Monday morning executed four search warrants and arrested two suspects. Four of the suspects were already in the Manatee County jail, two are in prison and five remain at large, according to a news release. Two of the suspects were also charged in 2009 homicide in Manatee County. This is the second time the sheriff’s office and agencies have targeted the SUR 13 gang with a racketeering investigation. Fourteen members were arrested in July 2007, and sentenced to prison terms of up to 60 years. Other gangs (the Mafia) have been similarly targeted with racketeering charges, which are similar to how authorities have prosecuted other organized crime activities
WIMAUMA, FL – Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a member of the notorious international gang, MS-13, in Wimauma after neighbors reported seeing a man walking around with a rifle. Deputies searched the area and found Raul Garcia Jr. carrying a rifle and wearing only black shorts. He ran into nearby woods when deputies ordered him to drop the rifle. K9 units and a helicopter began searching for Garcia in the woods. They found the Norinko SKS AK-47 rifle and a green bag that he'd been carrying. Inside the bag were three small baggies containing a white substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found four meth pipes and five live .38-caliber rounds. Garcia was eventually located Monday morning, Feb. 20, on U.S. 301 near State Road 674 in Wimauma. According to the sheriff's office, he is a certified member of the Mara Salvatrucha-13 gang founded in Los Angeles in the 1980s. The gang, which now numbers an estimated 70,000 members, is involved in child prostitution, drug trafficking, human trafficking and racketeering. Members are identified by unique body tattoos that represent their own sign language.

ST PETE FL St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, a Democrat, said last year in a blog post that his city would be a sanctuary from "harmful federal immigration laws." The mayor later clarified that his position was symbolic because the Sheriff's Office makes those decisions, not the city. Sheriff Bob Gualtieri criticized the mayor's statement, calling it misleading. The disparate distribution of undocumented immigrant populations is on display in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach region, the seventh-largest region by total population, but with the fifth-largest population of undocumented immigrants. The area's 400,000-plus undocumented immigrants make up more than half of that estimated population in Florida. A report by the Center for Immigration Studies named Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties — which together make up the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area — as "sanctuary jurisdictions" that obstruct federal enforcement of immigration laws.

LAKE WORTH FL A band of thieves and killers from the notorious MS-13 street gang — five of them teenagers — have been prowling the streets of Lake Worth, where they shot two men to death while robbing them, deputies said. The six, all from El Salvador and Honduras, were in the U.S. illegally, authorities said. “Their intent was not just to rob, but to rob and murder victims in their own community,” said Chief Frank DeMario, chief of Law Enforcement Operations for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. “These are young children that just openly shoot somebody and kill you. There’s no remorse.”
