RE: Extradition. I will be on the Alan Cohn ABC-7 News Show 7:00 pm Wednesday 1/3/2018 discussing extradition of accused killer Thomas Gross From Israel. The Suncoast man accused of killing his mother in Lakewood Ranch, and then fleeing to Israel in 2012, has been arrested and will be extradited back to the U.S. Thomas Gross, 63, was arrested on Sunday December 10th, 2017 by an Israeli International Police unit at his home in the coastal city of Herzliya, the Ministry of Justice told The Times of Israel, The Jerusalem Post and other news outlets. On the early morning of Jan. 9, 2012, Ina Gross was found dead inside the garage of her home in the 11000 block of Hyacinth Place in Riverwalk Hammock community in Lakewood Ranch. It was her son, Thomas Gross, who called 911, who has dual American and Israeli citizenship. The Manatee County sheriff’s office issued a warrant for his arrest in July 2014. It is unknown how long it will take Gross to be extradited to the United States from Israel. The US government first filed a petition for Gross’s extradition last February 2017. It remains unclear why he wasn’t arrested until Sunday, December 10th, 2017.

In israel Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked instructed state prosecutors to bring Gross before a district court for a ruling that he would be extradited, a statement from the prosecution said. He was brought before a Jerusalem District Court judge on Monday December 11th, 2017, and remanded for eight days. Gross’s lawyer, Eyal Besserglick, told the Ynet news site, “My client was released by the authorities after an investigation in the US, without any conditions. His passport was returned to him and they told him there was no suspicion against him.” He claimed that Gross had tried to resuscitate his mother and later undertook a lie detector test that decisively backed up his version.“Despite having a lawyer in the US, he’s never been told that he is needed for an inquiry. The center of his life — his wife and daughter — is in Israel and we will fight [to prove] that there is no justification for his extradition.” Thomas Gross has been denied bond as Israeli authorities move forward with the process of having him extradited back to the United States so he can face a murder charge in Manatee County for his mother’s death... I have been directly involved in two other criminal cases that will involve extradition, see below:

On Januray 9, 2012, 78-year-old Ina Gross was found stabbed to death inside of her garage. The State Attorney's Office in Manatee County issued an arrest warrant for her son, Thomas Gross, who has remained in Israel, where he has citizenship, ever since. Gross' sister, Ellen Gerth, confirms to ABC7 that he has been arrested by Israeli authorities, who intend to send him back to Manatee County to face trial. Gerth, believes her brother killed their mother for money, and has been very active in a years-long battle to seek justice for her mom. I am currently involved in 2 high profile cases that would/will involve extradition, see below.
1). On the run fugitive Osama Sam Mustafa out of Tampa has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for his role in masterminding a $17.8 million IRS check scam in 2014. Mustafa fled in 2013 before he was sentenced and has been sending me emails from Ramallah West Bank Palestine since December 2016, mocking the FBI and the US Marshals Service to come and get him, we have a long history going back to 2006. See email I got from US Attorney Joe Mott below, he is the guy who prosecuted Mustafa. The US and Palestine have no extradition treaty. The US Marshals service obtained a search warrant for all communication on Osama Sam Mustafa's email account in late September 2017, they are on to him. On August 28, 2013, U.S. Probation Officer Jennifer K. Williams submitted a Petition for Action on Conditions of Pretrial Release to the court, stating that Mustafa’s GPS tracking device had been tampered with and appeared idle in a wooded area off of Interstate 10 near Marianna Florida. Mustafa was also unresponsive to Probation’s attempts to contact him. As a result, the court ordered a warrant for Mustafa’s arrest.

Mr. Warner—
Thank you for notifying me of your emails from Mustafa. We appear to be in the same boat, though my emails may be less frequent. I too often get screeds from him complaining mainly about me, but also about his defense attorneys, which I dutifully forward on to my office security people and the Marshal’s Service. If you get any solid information that would enable apprehension of him, please pass it along. He’s got a 20 year sentence to serve.
Kind regards—

Joe Mott

2). I have also been involved with the case of Yaser Said who murdered his 2 daughters in the Dallas TX area exactly 10 years ago, I was hired by the maternal great aunt of the murdered girls. Yaser Said is now on the Top 10 FBI Most Wanted list. Yaser Abdel Said is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murders of his two teenaged daughters. The girls died of multiple gunshot wounds on January 1, 2008, in Irving, Texas. From extensive investigation and contacts with family members of the mother of the 2 murdered girls, I have obtained a Facebook photo of Yaser Said in the Cairo Egypt area that was posted by his teenage nephew, Yaser Said has dual nationality with the USA and Egypt.
