I will be on the A&E Network series 'The Killing Season' at 7:00 pm tonight Saturday 12/3, I come in during last 7 minutes of the show titled 'Different Seasons" explaining the links between unsolved murders along the I-4 corridor and long haul truckers. Long haul truckers are the serial killers working the I-4 corridor in Florida for the last 30 years as indicated by FBI report. FBI Highway Serial Killings Map New Initiative on an Emerging Trend: FBI claims a serial killer is working I-4 corridor in Florida from Daytona Beach to Orlando to Tampa to Sarasota Fl with over 29 unsolved murders of females with bodies left near the interstate.

I have done extensive research into multiple unsolved murders, mostly young women involved with drugs and prostitution, of victims whose bodies have been found along the interstate highways of the USA. FBI Report Highway violence; In the past four decades, over 500 unsolved deaths and 41 attempted homicides are believed to be linked to serial killers who are using the nation’s highways as truckers to find and dispose of their victims. 33 bodies n Florida, 38 bodies in Texas and 37 bodies in California are the top 3 in the body count nation wide. Dayton Beach police are working a series of unsolved murders of 4 women linked to prostitution and acknowledge that they have a serial killer, but the Sheriff Department in Orange County and the Sheriff Department in Polk County and the Sheriff Department in Hillsborough County have no active serial killer cases that they are working, none could explain where the FBI got its information, so Who’s Zoomin’ Who? Don’t you think the FBI should clue in local law enforcement? See FBI link to map

In April 2009 the FBI publicly announced the Highway Serial Killings initiative to raise awareness among law enforcement agencies and the general public about this issue and our unique assistance on these unsolved murder cases. The victims in these cases (Florida I-4) are primarily women who are living high-risk, transient lifestyles, often involving substance abuse and prostitution. They’re frequently picked up at truck stops or service stations and sexually assaulted, murdered, and dumped along a highway. The suspects are predominantly long-haul truck drivers (from I-95 to I-4 to I-75 in Florida). But the mobile nature of the offenders, the unsafe lifestyles of the victims, the significant distances and multiple jurisdictions involved, and the scarcity of witnesses or forensic evidence can make these cases tough to solve. Slayings of 19 prostitutes and drug users near I-4 in Central Fla is a serial killer. The first body was found the night after Christmas in 2005. LaQuetta Mae Gunther lay in a fetal position, partially naked, on the floor of a dark Daytona Beach alley — a bullet hole in the back of her head. Since then, three more women with known criminal histories have been found slain execution-style in this Central Florida beach side city best known for its love of motorcycles, auto racing and sunbathing. When the fourth victim was discovered, Daytona Beach police knew they were looking for a serial killer.

According to the FBI, the four killings are among 28 in Florida that are unsolved and connected to serial killings that the bureau suspects were committed by long-haul truckers. Those include 19 deaths along the Interstate 4 corridor between Tampa and Daytona Beach, although all but one local law-enforcement agency denies any serial-killer cases on its books. The FBI report documents dozens of serial killings of people whose bodies were dumped near popular trucking routes. The report is accompanied by a map that shows the FBI plotting more than 500 serial killings — mostly prostitutes and female drug users — across the United States.
FOX NEWS Serial Killers Defy Easy Classification, FBI report; Its difficult to know exactly which murders are serial killings. The FBIs Behavior Analysis Unit the so-called profilers – define serial murder as: The unlawful killing of two or more victims by the same offender(s) in separate events. Daytona Beach, Fla. From December 2005 to February 2006, police discovered the bodies of four women, each of which had been shot execution-style. Three were found inside the city limits the other was in a wooded area near the edge of town. While there is no way to know for sure, investigators are wondering if the murders may be connected to a string of killings across the I-4 corridor between Daytona Beach and Tampa. In all, 19 women have been killed.

According to the FBI, there is no set profile of a serial killer. They span all racial groups white, black, Hispanic and Asian. They are motivated by different things: sex, anger, thrill-seeking or attention-seeking are some common themes. They tend to operate within a comfort zone with an anchor point their home, place of work, or a relatives home. They display a number of different personality disorders psychopathy or anti-social behavior are common, but the FBI says most are not insane.  And contrary to popular belief, most are not reclusive or social misfits who live alone. They often have families, homes, jobs and appear quite normal. Consider what one of this nations most notorious serial killers, Ted Bundy once said: We serial killers are your sons, we are your husbands, we are everywhere.
