At the Movies, 'Mission Impossible II' and 'The Perfect Storm' were big box office hits during the Summer of 2000, "Beautiful Day" by U2 was a big hit during the Summer of 2000 and Donald Trump's Summer of 2000 book predicted a major terror attack in US. "I really am convinced we're in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center by seven Muslim terrorists look like kids playing with firecrackers," Donald Trump writes in his June 2000 book, "The America We Deserve." "No sensible analyst rejects this possibility, and plenty of them, like me, are not wondering if but when it will happen." The lead terrorist was Ramzi Yousef his maternal uncle is Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), with whom he allegedly planned the Bojinka plane plot. KSM is a senior al-Qaeda member and the principal architect of the September 11 attacks in 2001. Yousef is serving his 2 life sentences at ADX Florence, located in Florence, Colorado. Trump's Summer of 2000 terror prediction came true 15 months later on September 11th, 2001 with 19 Muslim fanatics on board 4 planes.
MOVIE "THE SIEGE": The film is about a "fictional situation" in which Muslim terrorist cells make several attacks on New York City with suicide bombers. The film stars Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, Tony Shalhoub and Bruce Willis. "Well back in 1998 this entire premise of Muslim terrorists attacking New York City seemed quite far fetched in the movie "The Siege", virtually in the realms of fantasy by the kind of overly paranoid Yanks that stockpile guns and tinned food. Then unfortunately the unthinkable happened as America was indeed attacked and hit hard on their own turf with the dreadful September 11, 2001 Islamic terrorist suicide plane bombings of the World Trade Center in New York. It is only now that this film really does have a much darker meaning with the events of the movie disturbingly realistic when once thought of as hyper reality."
SARASOTA's PERFECT STORM: 9/11 terrorists Marwan Al-Shehhi and Mohamed Atta lived in a small pink rental house on W. Laurel Rd Nokomis Sarasota County Fl during the Summer of 2000. Somehow and more than likely my work as a private eye in Sarasota and the paths of the 9/11 hijackers could have crossed more than once of twice. I was often in the Siesta Key village where Mohamed Atta was spotted at the 7/11 store, more than once, and I often followed errant husbands into the Cheetah Strip club which the 9/11 hijackers frequented. According to the FBI, Mohamed Atta, the pilot of the first hijacked aircraft that crashed into the World Trade Center, and his accomplices spent some of their time in Las Vegas at the Olympic Bar a downtown strip club. Samantha, a 29-year-old stripper, told the San Francisco Chronicle, that she had been paid to lap dance for Marwan al-Shehhi, the pilot of the second aircraft to hit the World Trade Center. “Some of the girls here remember a couple of those guys coming in here in August 2001, too. For me, what I remembered most was the guy with the beard. You don’t forget a face in this business.” All the strippers, she said, remember the men as well-groomed, polite and light drinkers. Some of the hijackers also used the Pink Pony strip joint in Florida. The 9/11 hijackers were also big spenders in San Diego. “The lifestyle of Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi became very expensive. Among other things, they like to go to bars. And they spent a lot of money, in fact, ‘Horndog‘ Nawaf al-Hazmi at one point wanted to marry strippers that he had met at the bar.” MORE FROM THIS SOURCE..

Mohamed Atta did patronize local Sarasota bars and businesses. He told the manager of the Outlook bar, across the street from American Legion Post 159 in Venice, that he was from Germany and came to Venice to learn to fly because it was "more cheaper" in the United States. That's the most significant thing Cathy Meinhart said she remembers about Mohamed Atta. He dressed in khakis and polo shirts and was fairly quiet and aloof. "As I told my family, the only thing I can tell you about him is he drank Bud Light," she said. Mohamed Atta and several friends were regulars at a Venice bar called the 44th Aero Squadron, decorated in the motif of a bomber-squadron bunker, complete with sandbags. "I never had any problems with them," said the owner, Ken Schortzmann. "They didn't want to be bothered, but didn't drink heavily or flirt with the waitresses, like some of the other flight students." Mohamed Atta seemed to be the leader. "He had a fanny pack with a big roll of cash in it," said Schortzmann. Lisa Acosta of North Port said she remembers seeing Mohamed Atta at the 7-11 where she works, in the Siesta Key village area, several times in the spring. She didn't remember what he bought. A dancer at the Cheetah Lounge in Sarasota also reported seeing one of the 9/11 terrorists at the strip club. Several other Cheetah employees, shown pictures Friday of the 9/11 terrorists who trained in Venice, said they looked somewhat familiar but that the dancer who had recognized one of them wasn't at work. A club manager escorted a Herald-Tribune reporter out of the club shortly afterward, saying the Cheetah had no comment.
Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Adnan El-Shukrijumah knew some of the 9/11 terrorists who were in training at Venice Airport, according to a former friend who provided the information to an FBI agent and a Sarasota County Sheriff's Office detective in 2004. The informant, a Sarasota cellphone store owner named Wissam Hammoud, made the claim while awaiting trial in the Hillsborough County Jail on federal charges. He is now serving a 21-year sentence in federal prison after pleading guilty in August 2005 to charges of plotting to kill a federal agent and a confidential informant. Through the U.S. Attorney's Office, Hammoud arranged to be interviewed by Sarasota sheriff's Detective Michael Otis and FBI agent Leo Martinez, who worked in the agency's Fort Myers field office, according to a 2004 investigative report file by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. FBI DISAVOWS OWN SARASOTA DOCUMENT: The 9/11 Review Commission, tasked to examine new evidence, obtained a copy of the Sarasota case file and was briefed by the FBI, which disavowed its April 2002 report saying it was “poorly written and wholly unsubstantiated.” “When questioned later by others in the FBI, the special agent who wrote (it) was unable to provide any basis for the contents of the document or explain why he wrote it as he did,” the report says.
The report does not name the agent, but its language suggests the commission accepted the FBI’s statements without challenge. The report does not address why the FBI kept its Sarasota investigation a secret from two federal inquiries into 9/11. The FBI’s denial was later contradicted by its own documents that were made public two years ago amid ongoing Freedom of Information litigation brought by Broward Bulldog, Inc., FloridaBulldog.org corporate parent. One FBI report, dated April 16, 2002, said investigators determined that the Sarasota Saudis had “many connections to individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.”
Wissam Hammoud, Abdulaziz al-Hijji and Mohammed Mezroub Link To Sarasota Mosque on Lockwood Ridge Rd and Al-Qaeda Linked Imam Muneer Arafat Prior to 9/11. According to Sarasota cell phone store owner Wissam Hammoud, Mohammed Mezroub, his photo above in Sarasota Fl was one of Abdulaziz al-Hijji pals in June of 2000 to August 2001, they had talked of going to Afghanistan and fighting for the Mujahedin against US Forces. Mohammed Mezroub was arrested numerous times by Sarasota County Sheriff’s office with multiple Battery Charges, see just one at link https://cms.sarasotaclerk.com/BenchmarkwebCAPS/CourtCase.aspx/Details/944680?digest=j7Qbq7ksYYwguSe3Ns5Icg .

According to security people at the Prestancia gated community in Sarasota the license plates of vehicles owned by Mohamed Atta, Marwan Al-Shehhi, Ziad Jarrah, Wissam Hammoud and Adnan El-Shukrijumah had been to 4224 Escondito Circle Prior to 9/11 Attack. During the time period of June 2000 to August of 2001 Mohamed Atta, Marwan Al-Shehhi, Ziad Jarrah, Wissam Hammoud and Adnan El-Shukrijumah appear to have visited Esam Ghazzawi and Abdulaziz al-Hijji at 4224 Escondito Circle Prior to 9/11 Attack. I had run the license plate of Mohamed Atta, D79DDV, on May 27 2002 it was on a 1989 red Pontiac, Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi had been living on W. Laurel Rd in Nokomis Fl, see photo above.
Esam Ghazzawi’s son-in law Abdulaziz al-Hijji began attending the Sarasota Bradenton Islamic Center 4350 N. Lockwood Ridge Rd in 1995, see photo above with red Pontiac parked in front in August 2000, Al-Qaeda and Hamas linked Imam Muneer Arafat was hired by the Sarasota Bradenton Islamic Center in March of 2000, he listed local address’s on Central Sarasota Pkwy and at Nature Circle Sarasota, FL. Abdulaziz al-Hijji and his wife Anoud left three cars at their luxurious home in a gated community in Sarasota, Florida — one of them new — and flew to Saudi Arabia in August 2001. The refrigerator was full of food; furniture and clothing were left behind; and the swimming pool water was still circulating.
