Show-n-Tail Strip Club Killer Javier Ramos Will Not Be Getting a New Trial in Panama City Fl

Jazier Ramos was sentenced to life in prison for the 1994 shooting death of four people inside the Show n Tail topless night club on Thomas Drive at Panama City Beach.  Ramos was sentenced to life in prison 10 years ago for the 1994 shooting death of four people inside the Show n Tail topless night club on Thomas Drive at Panama City Beach. Javier Ramos tried to win a new trial from Circuit Judge Dedee Costello. In his appeal attorneys claimed the original defense attorney failed to adequately represent Ramos. Judge Costello rejected the claims, so Ramos took his case to the First District Court of Appeals. The appeals court affirmed Costello's ruling, without comment, so her order denying the new trial stands. One of the victims in the quadruple murder was the 18-year-old son of now Panama City Mayor Lauren DeGeorge.

Javier Ramos and Joe Clark shared an apartment in Panama City, Florida in late summer of 1994. Ramos then moved to Miami but returned to Panama City on October 2, 1994. Before he left Miami, he told a dancer at the exotic dance club he managed that he had to take care of people in Panama City. When she asked him if he planned to murder anyone, he said he would if he had to at . I remember Javier Ramos when he was the manager of the Toy box Strip Club in Panama City Fl, he always carried a .380 semi auto Beretta pistol in his pants pocket or on his right hip in a holster under his suit jacket.

Javier Ramos was also linked to a drug ring that was bringing cocaine into the Naval Base at Panama City Beach Florida where after the murders one of his strippers and a seaman were arrested smuggling cocaine into the Naval Base. Most likely the murders at the Show n Tail topless night club on Thomas Drive were directly linked to the cocaine smuggling at the nearby Naval Base, see map above.
