Jackson County Tourist Development P.E.G TV to film Marianna Fl 'City of Southern Charm' others compared Marianna Dozier School 'White House' to Nazi Gas Chamber at Dachau.

Marianna Fl- Jackson County Tourist Development Council leaders said they wanted to tap-into the power of television advertising by creating their own channel. "P.E.G TV stands for public access and general- or, general audience" TDC Director, Pam Fuqua explained.
She said the TDC was working with Chipola College TV and Comcast Cable to help start a PEG channel. "We thought, 'this is an excellent opportunity to start something like Beach TV, and show off our attractions'" Fuqua said. "We'll do videos of our caverns and our waterways, like Lake Seminole. We'll have some live shots and promotional work for our upcoming events."

The county administrator and county attorney Frank Baker (indicted by the DOJ)  were working on a contract. Fuqua did not have an estimated cost for the project, but hoped it would be complete in the next 12 to 18 months. "We're still in the product development stage" she told us. "What that means is, we're getting together our ground roots before we promote." Maybe they can film tours of the Dozier School for Boys graveyard and the torture room of the 'White House" where litle boys were beaten, raped and murdered.

TAMPA BAY TIMES-MARIANNA FL — The old reform school on the edge of town is all but abandoned. The only activity is from a few guards who watch the gate to make sure the locals don't cut the razor wire and strip the darkened buildings bare of copper. But in this little blue-collar city a few miles up State Road 276, the shuttered campus, home for a more than a century to Florida's juvenile delinquents, has surged back into conversation.
They call Marianna the "City of Southern Charm," but that sweet-tea nickname has been poisoned, some here are saying, by its connection to the reform school, built in 1900, and by incessant derision from a group of several hundred men who have come forward with stories of sexual abuse, extreme beatings from school staff and tales of classmates who disappeared.
But no matter how many tell of being tortured at the Florida School for Boys, no matter how similar their stories or how many old newspaper clippings support their claims, some residents here refuse to believe themAt a public meeting last week, a state NAACP representative who toured the campus recently with Sen. Bill Nelson compared the White House to a Nazi gas chamber at Dachau, Germany (photo above), suggesting that those who lived near the concentration camp did not know of the atrocities until the camp was liberated.
Dozier School A Concentration Camp For Little Boys Has Dark Secrets Unearthed In KKK Held Marianna Fl. MARIANNA FL for years, almost no one at the Dozier School even knew about the burial ground in a clearing in the woods on the edge of campus. It was forbidden territory. The soil here, churned in places by tiny ants, holds more than the remains of little boys. Only now is it starting to give up its dark secrets: horror stories of state-sanctioned barbarism, including flogging, sexual assault and, possibly, murder.

But, as suspicions deepen about how the boys in the burial ground died, pressure is growing again on the state to shine new light into the darkest days of the school in Marianna, a Florida Panhandle town that once was a bastion of the KKK (private investigator Bill Warner was first to bring this to your attention CLICK HERE) and the site of the 1934 lynching of Claude Neal. The pressure is coming from some of the school’s survivors, from relatives of boys who died here, and from Florida’s top US Senator, Bill Nelson.
