Tampa's Osama Mustafa Arrested on Money Laundering Charges, Sam Mustafa Claims No Link to 9/11 Hijacker Nawaf al-Hazmi at His Star Mart Texaco, Oh Really.

I have received numerous phone calls and text messages from Osama "Sam" Mustafa since at least early 2009 complaining about my articles about him and his links, and his son Mike's links, to the Muslim criminal underworld in Tampa and his links to 9/11 hijackers prior to the attacks on September 11, 2011, Osama Mustafa denied all, he lied.  I have contacted people in the Tampa media as far back as November 2007 and indicated that Osama Mustafa was involved in criminal activity that indicated support of foreign terrorist organizations. There is a "Tampa Muslim Mafia" and  Osama “Sam” Mustafa, 47, and Khaldoun ”Tony” Khawaja, 48 are just the tip of the iceberg.

FOX NEWS TAMPA....Fast forward to Wednesday May 15th, 2012 and Khaldoun “Tony” Khawaja and Osama “Sam” Mustafa, have been charged with taking part in an $17 million tax fraud scheme. In a federal indictment unsealed Tuesday, Osama “Sam” Mustafa, 47, and Khaldoun ”Tony” Khawaja, 48, along with Khawaja’s brother, Muawia ”Mike” Abdeljalil of Virginia, are accused of stealing Social Security checks, filing false tax returns and lying to the federal government, Sam Mustafa is good at it.

"Mustafa's cousin, Willie Museitef, manages one of Osama Mustafa's businesses, BNA Automotive on Linebaugh Avenue. Museitef said about six or seven agents from the FBI, the Treasury Department and U.S. Marshals Service showed up at the business this morning and searched business records. He said the tax fraud allegations were "absolutely shocking." Museitef said he was aware of his cousin's name being mentioned in the 9/11 report. "What he was telling me is they think that one of the guys that was involved in that mess worked in the gas station," Museitef said of Mustafa. "The FBI came over and started asking questions. … After an investigation, they let him go."

News flash for dirtball Willie Museitef who said, one of the guys that was involved in "that mess" worked in the Mustafa gas station, "that mess" was the Sept. 11 attacks were about 3,000 American citizens were murdered by Muslim radicals.

Tampa Muslim Mafia boss Khaldoun ”Tony” Khawaja has multiple felony arrests in Tampa including his 2005 bust in “Operation Up In Smoke” with co-defendant Adil Abdel Hader, a cigarette scam that linked to support of terrorism and procuring young children for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity with them. The May 2012 indictment states the three men, Mustafa, Khawaja and Abdeljalil allegedly used businesses they owned–mainly convenience stores such as Main Street Grocery, 2117 W Main St., Tampa and automotive shops like BNA Automotive–to launder the fraudulent tax checks they received.  In total, federal authorities are trying to seize $26 million in money and interest related to the three men’s activities. It’s a “major case,” said Brian McGinn, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Virginia.

From information obtained from a US Congressional Report dated July 24th, 2003 concerning Osama "Sam" Mustafa and 9/11 hijacker Nawaf al-Hamzi, the following information has been revealed.
http://legacy.utsandiego.com/news/nation/terror/20030725-9999_1n25report.html

The report detailed investigations of San Diego men by counter terrorism agents before or while the hijackers lived in San Diego. Those men, mentioned in the 832-page report, eventually became friends, helpers or employers of the two hijackers. Two of the men listed in the report are the owner and manager of a business that employed Nawaf al-Hazmi. 9/11 hijacker Nawaf al-Hhazmi works at a gas station while living in San Diego where other suspected Islamist militants work. The report indicated that one of the men, a Palestinian-born U.S. citizen who owns several businesses in the San Diego area, “cheered upon learning of the Sept. 11 attacks” and had been investigated by the FBI in 1991, 1994 and 1997 for associations with terrorist groups and threats against Israelis.

The men were not named in the report but Nawaf al-Hazmi worked at Sam’s Star Mart gas station on Spring Street in La Mesa, which at the time was a Texaco franchise owned by Osama “Sam” Mustafa and managed by Ed Salamah. Also mentioned in the report was an unnamed Muslim cleric who became a spiritual adviser to al-Hazmi and al-Midhar. Anwar Al-Awlaki (since killed by the CIA) is the former leader of the Masjid Ar-Ribat al-Islami mosque on Saranac Street on the border of San Diego and La Mesa, which was attended regularly by the 9/11 hijackers and their acquaintances.

From the mosque, Masjid Ar-Ribat Al-Islami, Nawaf al-Hazmi got a recommendation for a job at the nearby Sam's Star Mart Texaco station and car wash, a business whose former owner, a Muslim, was known to help young men in need of work. For a month, Al-hazmi worked at minimum wage two days a week, vacuuming and drying cars. Nawaf al-Hazmi was from Mecca, Saudi Arabia his father owns a shop and the family is very wealthy.

Of all the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid Almihdhar have the longest records of involvement with al-Qaeda. CIA Director Tenet calls them al-Qaeda veterans. According to the CIA, Nawaf al-Hazmi first travels to Afghanistan in 1993 as a teenager, then fights in Bosnia. Almihdhar makes his first visit to Afghanistan training camps in 1996, and then fights in Chechnya in 1997. Both swear loyalty to bin Laden around 1998. Nawaf al-Hazmi fights in Afghanistan against the Northern Alliance with his brother, Salem Alhazmi. He fights in Chechnya in 1998. [ABC News, 1/9/2002;]

December 1999...9/11 hijackers Mohamed Atta, Ziad Jarrah, Marwan Alshehhi, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, and Nawaf al-Hazmi meet to discuss the 9/11 operation at a building known as the “House of Alghamdi” in Kandahar, Afghanistan, according to a statement made by bin al-Shibh in an interview prior to his capture in 2002 (see September 8-11, 2002 and September 11, 2002). Bin al-Shibh will say, “We had a meeting attended by all four pilots including Nawaf al-Hazmi, Atta’s right-hand man,” The two 9/11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid Almihdhar arrive in the US in the middle of January 2000.

9/11 pilot Hani Hanjour along with Nawaf al-Hazmia and Khalid al-Mihdhar 9/11 hijackers either worked at or were introduced to “Sam’s Star Mart ” in La Mesa CA (near San Diego) which was owned by Osama “Sam” Mustafa who currently resides in Riverview Fl. Nawaf al-Hazmi was already a “al-Qaeda veteran” and battle-hardened killer from a very wealthy Saudi family. Nawaf al-Hazmi spoke little English, Khalid al-Mihdhar spoke none, so what was Nawaf al-Hazmi doing at Sam's Star Mart Texaco cleaning cars?  Their landlord was unaware that they took a few flight lessons and that they were asked to leave the flight training class because of their lack of ability.

The Texaco gas station, Sam’s Star Mart, was owned by Osama “Sam” Mustafa. [San Diego Union-Tribune, 7/25/2003] . Sam Mustafa was first investigated by the FBI in 1991 after he tells a police officer that the US needs another Pan Am 103 attack and that he could be the one to carry out the attack. He also says all Americans should be killed because of the 1991 Iraq War. In 1994, he was investigated for being a member of the Palestinian organizations PFLP and PLO and for threatening to kill an Israeli intelligence officer living in San Diego. The investigation was closed, but reopened again in 1997 when he, Mustafa, was tied to a possible plot in North Carolina. Apparently, it is closed again before 9/11.  He (Mustafa) also associates with Osama Basnan and others who have contacts with the 9/11 hijackers. [US Congress, 7/24/2003, pp. xii, 11-12, 143-146, 155-157 pdf file]

Mohdar Abdullah, a friend of Nawaf al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar, also works at the Star Mart Texaco gas station around this time. He may have learned of the 9/11 plot as early as the spring of 2000. Additionally, according to one witness, Abdullah, Osama Awadallah, Omar Bakarbashat, and other gas station employees will appear to show foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks one day before they take place.

The 9/11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar were living with an FBI informant named Abdussattar Shaikh who is aware of their contact with at least Mustafa, and Shaikh has given reports about Mustafa to the FBI in the past. However, Shaikh fails to tell the FBI about their contacts with him. The 9/11 Congressional Inquiry will later strongly imply that Salamah and Osama Mustafa assisted the hijackers with the 9/11 plot, but the FBI will appear uninterested in them. [US Congress, 7/24/2003, pp. xii, 11-12, 143-146, 155-157 pdf file] Shaikh will also later admit that he knew Nawaf al-Hazmi was working illegally at the Star Mart Texaco gas station, but he didn’t tell his FBI handler about this (see Autumn 2000).

Also mentioned in the report is Muslim cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki who became a spiritual adviser to Alhazmi and al-Midhar. Anwar Al-Awlaki (since killed by the CIA in Yemen) is the former leader of the Masjid Ar-Ribat al-Islami mosque on Saranac Street on the border of San Diego and La Mesa, which was attended regularly by the 9/11 hijackers and their acquaintances.  Future 9/11 hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar attend a San Diego mosque whose imam is Anwar al-Awlaki, and they have closed-door meetings with him. Al-Awlaki preaches at the Al-Ribat Al-Islami (also known as Rabat) mosque in La Mesa.

Osama “Sam” Mustafa’s connections to THE 9/11 terrorists in San Diego and then his arrival in Tampa Fl during late 2003 or early 2004 to open a gas station in Riverview and BNA AUTOMOTIVE / TOWING BUSINESS / USED CAR BUSINESS in Tampa is somewhat curious as Mustafa is not from Florida and did not appear to have relatives in the Tampa area.
