For todays Fractured Fairy Tale we have Chris Young and the Occupy Sarasota gang's take on what they think happened in Five Points Park Sarasota on Saturday 2/25/2012, see Sarasota Herald Tribune article below.

Get real folks, Chris Young is a convicted drug dealer who moved to Sarasota in early 2009 from the Lake City Fl area, see arrest booking photo above dated 2/19/2009 on an out of county Arrest Warrant, violation of probation felony drugs, he was booked nto the Sarasota County Jail on that day.  Drug Dealer Chris Young had multiple arrests in Sawannee County (Lake City Fl) during 2008 for the sale of Meth, Marijuana, Hallucinogens, Barbiturates, Cocaine, and Hydrocodone as per a March 8th, 2012 FDLE State of Florida criminal background check.

Occupy Sarasota protester Chris Young’s arrest has made Regional Media headlines since Saturday 2/25/2012. Michael Barfield of the ACLU contends the arrest by the Sarasota Police Department violated Chris Young’s constitutional right of free speech. The involvement of Michael Barfield and the ACLU and all the media coverage of Chris Young has made all of the participants, at the very least ,”Limited Public Figures” and as such the motives and backgrounds of Michael Barfield and Chris Young and their interaction with Law Enforcement are open to scrutiny.

SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE Saturday February 25th, 2012.  “The arrest of a disabled veteran for writing peaceful messages in chalk on the sidewalk is unjustified and over the top,” Michael Barfield said.  Chris Young is concerned about police harassment, but said the recent arrest will not stop his activism. “By no means am I done with the movement,” he said.  Chris Young's "disability" is not service related.

Chris Young became involved with Occupy Sarasota out of concern for what he described as the growing influence of corporations and for “nonsense laws,” such as smoking and sleeping bans in Five Points Park.

An Illinois native, Chris Young served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm,  he became a truck driver after leaving the Navy, until he injured his back in 2001. Disabled and in chronic pain, Chris Young was forced to move to Florida in 2004 and live with family.  “We the people have the power,” Chris Young said. “We the people can change things if we choose to.”

SPD Officer John Neri charged Young with: Trespass after warning, obstructing without violence, obstructing pedestrian traffic and tampering/ interfering with city property. Bail was set at $1,240. In his report, SPD Neri states that after receiving the call he “conducted surveillance from inside of Selby Library,” where he saw Chris Young, whom he described as a “white male with long scraggly hair,” drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. Neri wrote that he only intended to identify Chris Young and ban him from the park.

However, he stated that Chris Young had a “combative nature” and demanded to see a copy of the city ordinance SPD Neri wrote, the man attempted to pull away.

“SPD Writer (Neri) was eventually able to gain physical control of both arms and safely place him into custody,” the officer wrote. Young's friends are stunned all this happened over a few words on the sidewalk. “This was chalk. It wasn't illegal,” said Occupy Sarasota member Paul Tuttle. “If you don't have money in this town, you'll be taken advantage of.”
Paul Tuttle is a member of the lunatic fringe called Occupy Sarasota, he has sent me numerous emails complaining about my expose of their Communist linked organization, in one email he basically called me out for a street fight in front of the Bank America on Main Street Sarasota for their protest scheduled on Thursday 3/15/2012 at 11:30 AM, what a jerk. SPD officer Neri did what he had to do when confronting Chris Young a known drug dealer with multiple convictions.

Occupy Sarasota poster boy Chris Young had been arrested multiple times by the cops in Sawannee County, he knew the drill and he knew not to resist because that just adds to the charges. Chris Young, as a drug dealer, was known to the Sarasota Police Department (SPD) Intelligence Division as they keep track of guys like him when they show up in town, so why did Chris Young ignore the cops request for him to move on in Five Points Park, why did he resist arrest in Five Points Park when he knew not to, or did he want to be arrested, was this a set up for a possible lawsuit?

In my opinion and from the facts gathered by an investigation of open public court records, arrest records and archived news articles, it appears to me that Occupy Sarasota poster boy Chris Young has set up the Sarasota Police Department and the City of Sarasota for a Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit, with Michael Barfield of the ACLU and local attorney Derek Bryd at his side.

“We the people have the power,” Chris Young said. “We the people can change things if we choose to," right on Chris, is that before or after the Meth and Cocaine sales. See complete list of all of the drug convictions in the State of Florida for drug dealer Chris Young, CLICK HERE.
