Mexican television reporter Inez Sainz attends media day for Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
Lewd remarks and juvenile behaviour by players and members of the Jets' coaching staff toward Sainz caused the ever-vigilant females-as-victims camp to use her as their poster child, managing to portray her as a hard-working (if unfortunately beautiful) reporter just trying to do her job while having to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous man behaviour in her workplace.
I'm guessing many of those writers had never seen her up close, but anyone who's done media day at Super Bowl has, and what's really funny - and kind of sad, at the same time - is that even after all the trumped-up outrage over the Jets' deplorable behaviour, (see that outfit above), even after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell weighed in on the issue and the Jets were rapped on the knuckles, nothing has really changed. And listening to comments by Sainz yesterday, it seems she never intended that anything should.
She wore, according to a report that pretty much fit the average description, "a tight, silver-sequined dress and shiny black leather boots with stiletto heels" which sounds as though she's toned it down from past years, when cleavage and bare midriff were among her outstanding features, more from this source....
