WBTV Charlotte Jul 22, 2010, Rep Myrick: Samir Khan is #2 in recruiting Americans to al-Qaeda. It appears Charlotte man Samir Khan is a rising star in the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization. Congresswoman Sue Myrick says the former Central Piedmont Community College student has risen to number two in Al Qaeda’s propaganda war on the West and the United States. As we’ve reported, Khan is now allegedly running al-Qaeda’s new online magazine out of Yemen. It’s all in English. Myrick says that’s extremely scary because it’s a blatant attempt to recruit impressionable young American kids.
