Columbus Ohio Terror Central USA Has Produced the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, Dr. Hany Saqr, the Omar Ibn El Khattab Mosque, Abdulhakim Muhammad, Christopher Paul & Iyman Faris Al-Qaeda Cell Members and Somali Youth to Al-Shabaab, Rifqa Bary wants no part of it. Tuesday, September 01, 2009, Columbus OH Terror Mosque Omar Ibn El Khattab . Last week, investigators from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement traveled to Ohio to visit the Barys. Part of their findings might be released Thursday 9/03/09 at a court hearing in Florida, a department spokeswoman said.

AFFADAVIT OF FATHIMA RIFQA BARY......In a fit of anger that I had never seen before in my life, my father picked up my lap top, waivedit over my head as if to strike me with it and said "If you have this Jesus in your heart, you are dead to me! You are no longer my daughter." I continued to remain silent and then he said to me even more angry than before, "I will kill you! Tell me the truth!".

On July 17, 2009, my mother confronted me (Rifqa Bary) about another Christian book she discovered that I had hid in my bedroom. She had just spoken with my father was on the phone who was out of town. She was very upset, in tears, and almost grieving and told me I was going to have to be sent back to Sri Lanka to be dealt with; Fathima Rifqa Bary, Sworn to me this 30th day of August 2009.

FOX NEWS....A 17-year-old girl (Rifqa Bary) who fled to Florida after converting from Islam to Christianity will be in "Clear and present danger " if returned to Ohio due to her parent's affiliation with an Islamic cultural center, her attorney claims. In a 35-page memorandum filed Monday in Orange County family court, attorney John Stemberger claims Fathima Rifqa Bary, who will remain in foster care in Florida at least until a hearing on Thursday, should not be returned to the custody of her parents, Mohamed and Aysha Bary, because of their connection to the Noor Islamic Cultural Center near Columbus, Ohio.

The leader of the mosque, Dr. Hany Saqr, was previously an imam for another area mosque, the Omar Ibn El Khattab mosque at the same time the largest known Al Qaeda cell in the U.S. since 9/11 was operating out of the mosque with Christopher Paul, Iyman Faris and Somali Nuradin Abdi," the document read. "Additionally, Dr. Saqr was identified in exhibits submitted by the Department of Justice in a recent terrorism finance trial in Texas as being one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America an international organization responsible for birthing virtually every Islamic terrorist organization in the world, including Al Qaeda."

Stemberger also claims the Noor Center has been "
directly tied" to an ongoing probe into Somali-American youths who fled the U.S. to train in terror camps operated by the Al Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab terror organization. Stemberger, who is seeking to obtain residence for Bary in Florida, says the claims made in his memorandum is not "a case" against Islam, the Omar Ibn El Khattab Mosque in Columbus, Ohio is entirely another matter !

June 4, 2009 FBI said it was looking at whether a Muslim convert accused of killing a soldier outside an Arkansas recruiting center also targeted an Atlanta Jewish site. The Atlanta site was potentially one of several U.S. Jewish sites Abdulhakim Muhammad targeted, said an anti-terrorism group specializing in protecting against anti-Jewish attacks. Muhammad, 24 who pleaded not guilty to killing Pvt. William Long, 23, and wounding Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, outside a Little Rock, Ark., recruiting office also had plans for an Atlanta "Jewish entity," an FBI spokesman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ABC News has reported that Abdulhakim Muhammad appears in 2006 and 2007 to have attended the Omar Ibn El Khattab Mosque in Columbus, Ohio, also frequented by three men later convicted of anti-U.S. terrorism.

On June 2nd 2008 Columbus Al-Qaeda cell member Christopher Paul agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction against Americans overseas. His co-conspirators Iyman Faris and Nuradin Abdi had already pled guilty and are currently serving their respective prison sentences. The indictments in this case indicate that there are at least 10 additional Al-Qaeda cell members who have not yet been charged, with at least one deported and several others fleeing the country. Others, however, are still operating within the community.

The Columbus Al-Qaeda cell is the largest known cell found inside the US since 9/11. The recruitment and training occurred primarily at the Omar Ibn El Khattab mosque just north of the OSU campus, where Paul was a leader and regularly taught martial arts classes.Christopher Paul, aka "Abdul Malek," aka "Paul Kenyatta Laws," a 44-year-old U.S. citizen born in Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty to conspiring with others to use a weapon of mass destruction, namely explosive devices, against targets in Europe and the United States in violation of 18 USC, Section 2332a.

On April 11, 2007, Paul was arrested in Ohio pursuant to a three-count indictment alleging that he conspired to provide material support and resources to terrorists; conspired to use a weapon of mass destruction; and provided material support and resources to terrorists. In pleading guilty to count two of the indictment, Paul has agreed to a sentence of 20 years in prison.

"The guilty plea brings an end to the long, dangerous career of Christopher Paul, an Ohio native who joined al Qaeda in the early 1990s, fought in Afghanistan and Bosnia and conspired with others to target Americans both at home and abroad," said Acting Assistant Attorney General Rowan. "His conviction demonstrates our continuing resolve to protect the American public against terrorism."

"This guilty plea is a significant step forward in the war on terror," U.S. Attorney Gregory G. Lockhart said. "The hard work by the Columbus FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force has resulted in three significant terrorism convictions, showing that all parts of the country must be involved in our national efforts."

"The conviction of Christopher Paul was the result of a five-year, worldwide investigation with great cooperation from multiple federal, state and local agencies serving on the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force in Columbus.

By pleading guilty to count two of the indictment, Paul admitted that from at least April 1999 through January 2000, he agreed with at least one other person to become a member of a conspiracy which intended to use a weapon of mass destruction, namely explosive devices, against one or more of the following: U.S. nationals outside the United States; persons or property within the United States affecting interstate or foreign commerce; and/or property that was owned, leased or used by the United States.

After fighting in Afghanistan, Paul returned to Ohio, where he began instructing individuals in martial arts in Columbus. He also began recruiting local individuals with extremist intentions at the Omar Ibn El Khattab mosque in order to establish a jihadist group in Ohio. Over time and through his association with al Qaeda, Paul became dedicated to committing jihad and furthering the objectives of al Qaeda and other radical Islamic fundamentalists.

From 1993 through 1995, Paul, using various passports and names, traveled to the Balkans in Europe and fought in conflict zones such as Bosnia, establishing further contact with radical Islamic fundamentalists, and creating a master list of al Qaeda leaders and other Islamic radicals worldwide. This list and bomb-making information was seized during the execution of a search warrant at the defendant’s home.

Paul returned to Columbus after fighting in the Balkans, and, in 1997, received a fax from two al Qaeda co-conspirators in Europe asking, on behalf of "the brothers," for Paul to find them a "true group and place to make jihad." While in Columbus, Paul conducted training operations in Burr Oak State Park in Ohio with several members of his local group recruited from the
Omar Ibn El Khattab mosque, replicating terrorist training he had received in Afghanistan and Bosnia.
Preparing to travel again overseas, Paul obtained a new passport after claiming his old passport – in one of his other aliases – had been damaged by water (directly from the al-Qaeda play book). Beginning in March 31, 1999, and continuing through Jan. 31, 2000, Paul made 44 calls to an Islamic fundamentalist co-conspirator in Europe, who was arrested in 2003 and later convicted of a terrorist conspiracy.

On April 16, 1999, Paul traveled to meet with members of an Islamic terror cell in Germany, who knew him as an expert in bomb-making/detonation devices. In Germany, Paul provided explosives training to the cell knowing that it was planning to use this training to construct bombs, car bombs, and similar devices to be used against Americans while they vacationed at foreign tourist resorts. The German terrorist cell also planned to use bombs against Americans in the United States, and against U.S. facilities abroad, such as U.S. embassies, diplomatic premises and military bases in Europe.

Upon his return to Ohio from Germany, Paul had a member of his group in Columbus purchase a printer / scanner in May 1999. The printer/scanner was then sent to one of the German terror cell members in order to help the cell manufacture fraudulent documents to facilitate worldwide travel. The cell member did not claim the package in Germany and it was sent back to Paul. During this time, Paul also bought other equipment to be used by extremists, including night vision equipment and a laser range finder.

Additional similar items were found during the execution of search warrants by the Columbus FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Furthermore, in November 1999, bank records show that Paul wire transferred $1,760 to one of the principal members of the German cell.

The Paul investigation was conducted by the Columbus FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, a multi-agency operation led by the FBI that includes agents and officers from 10 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio and the Justice Department’s National Security DivisionNuradin Abdi, a member of the large Columbus Somali community and friend of Iyman Faris, was charged in June 2004 with plotting to blow up a Columbus area shopping mall.

According to the indictment, Abdi attended a terrorist training camp in Ogaden, Ethiopia in March 2000. Abdi orginally entered the country as a refugee, and according to US government prosecutors, illegally used his refugee status to obtain travel documents to travel to the jihad camp.

FBI investigates Columbus Somalis leaving US for jihad with Al-Shabaab, A number of local and national media reports have appeared in recent weeks about current FBI investigations in a number of US cities regarding Somali men who are leaving the country and returning to Somalia to train in terror camps and waging jihad with the Al-Shabaab terrorist group.

FBI officials in Columbus are looking into possible departures in the area, which hosts the second largest Somali community in the US. Violent Islamist Extremism: Al-Shabaab Recruitment in America on the Internet in Boston, Seattle, San Diego, Columbus OH, Minneapolis and Atlanta GA.

The Somali-American youth who have traveled abroad to join and fight for
al-Shabaab were likely exposed to al-Shabaab’s extremist ideology in the United States, most likely through sustained interaction with extremists—in person and via the Internet—and exposure to jihadist literature and videos circulated on the Internet.
