Troopers Seek help in Pasco Hit-and-Run as Hudson Doctors work to Save the Leg of Walter Eddie Littlefield

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a vehicle that drove off northbound U.S. 19 early Sunday 1/11/09 and struck a man walking along the road. The driver then took off, the FHP said, leaving the pedestrian, Eddie Littlefield, in critical condition.

A beige or white 1997 to 1999 Ford Ranger pick-up, traveling North on US 19 in Hudson, struck Walter Eddie Littlefield on the left side of his body causing a severe compound fracture to his left leg along with other contusions and abrasions and head and back injuries.

The beige or white 1997 to 1999 Ford Ranger pick-up suffered damage to the right front end of the vehicle along with damage to the passenger side windshield, the right side mirror is also missing.

Walter Eddie Littlefield is my step-son, he is in Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Doctors have preformed two very painful surgeries since Sunday 1/11/09 in order to save the left leg of Walter Eddie Littlefield.

I was able to obtain damaged parts from the beige or white 1997 to 1999 Ford Ranger pick-up at the crime scene later in the day, on Sunday 1/11/09.

I have in my possession the right side mirror from the Ford Ranger pick-up, this appears to be original equipment and the serial number is 1405080.
