$100,000 REWARD FOR INFO ON NEW FBI TOP TEN FUGITIVE, MICHAEL JASON REGISTE the "Stick Up Kid", Suspect in 2007 Double Murder.

For Immediate ReleaseAugust 27, 2008 Atlanta-Special Agent in Charge Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, announces the arrest this morning of FBI Top Ten Fugitive Michael Jason Registe.
Registe, wanted for the July, 2007 double murders of Columbus State University students Bryan Kilgore and Randy Newton Jr. at Columbus, Georgia, was arrested by St. Maarten Police officials in conjunction with the Antilles Director of Public Prosecution and through coordination with the FBI's Legal Attaché, Bridgetown, Barbados.


A Georgia man wanted for his alleged participation in a 2007 execution-style double murder has been added to our Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, and we are offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to his arrest.

Michael Jason Registe, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, is believed to be 26 years old, but has used dates of birth ranging from 1982 to 1989. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, and has a number of tattoos, including the cartoon character Yosemite Sam on his right forearm with the words "Stick Up Kid" underneath it.

The charges. On July 20, 2007, officers with the Columbus, Georgia Police Department arrived at the scene of a shooting, where they found two males inside a truck. Both had suffered execution-style gunshot wounds to the back of their heads. One of the victims died at the scene, and the other died shortly afterward. An investigation into the murders pointed to Registe, and arrest warrants were obtained charging him with allegedly committing the crimes.

On July 23, 2007, a federal warrant was issued charging Registe with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. He is also wanted by the Columbus Police Department on an unrelated charge of aggravated assault for a 2005 shooting in which the victim was severely wounded.

For More Information - Registe's wanted poster Registe is known to go by several aliases, including Michael Register, Michael Registe Jr., Jason Registe, Kareem Luke Penn, Hakeem Luke Penn, David Nathaniel Noland, and David N. Noland. He has ties to the United States Virgin Islands, specifically the island of St. Thomas. (Panama City Fl is the stomping grounds for many "individuals" from the Columbus Ga area, right up Route 231)

Registe has several tattoos, including one showing the Yosemite Sam cartoon character with the words "Stick Up Kid" underneath. The FBI needs your help.
